@toy They added all the Pokemon into the Kanto half of HGGS so you wouldn't have needed to transfer Pokemon from the GBA games. Hello, the DSi and 3DS can't play GBA games. And fourth gen Pokemon are pretty great for me, the problem was that DPPt were at the point where the formula was starting to get repetitive.

Pokemon Crystal was my first Pokemon game ever, but I didn't mind seeing all the new Pokemon in Kanto in HGSS. Honestly, I really just loved those games because it gave me a chance to explore Johto again. =D

I played my Crystal on a clear purple Game Boy. I'm sick of actual removable batteries, so I bought a rechargeable battery pack that saves me a bit of money.
The device is called "GB Sounds" and can be obtained from Game Freak after collecting all 16 Badges.
Aside from nostalgia factor, Crystal is there and so much more~

I just hope they don't start remaking remakes like FireRed and LeafGreen. I'll be confused at that point.

I wouldn't mind if FR/LG were put on DS cartridges though. It would be nice to play them on my DS instead of an emulator on my phone.

@orderedchaos I could see a FireRed DS and a LeafGreen DS. I just want to avoid CrimsonRed and NatureGreen, haha.

I always buy Pokemon games, but I'm not gonna buy a remake of a remake of a game I could never get into. I played Crystal first (my brother owned all of the Gen 1 games and he was somewhat picky about his property. not that that... never mind), and even though I did get LeafGreen, I didn't really like it. It would be cool to see Hoenn again, though, especially since now I could probably actually get to the third gym on my own. -.-

Also, I never really got all the hate for fifth gen Pokemon. They're not the best, but they're a lot better then some of the ones from first gen. I mean, they're the first ones, sure, but sticking three of a type of Pokemon together and calling it a new Pokemon is just stupid. I'd rather use an ice cream cone brought to life.

@tear Pokemon is Nintendo's pride and joy. There could still only be the 150 (and I guess if you count Mew) original Pokemon and it would still sell like hotcakes.
Pokemon Black and White is essentially a reboot without being a "reboot or remake". There are a lot of parallels between the new Pokemon and the original.

Trubbish = Grimer, Foongus = Voltorb, Ferroseed = Pineco, etc.

That said, Pokemon sells more and more copies with each generation. I think Black and White 2 is now the fastest selling copy, though I could be wrong and that title may still belong to Black and White.

At first, I disliked the majority of the new Pokemon. It grows on me, like every generation before it.
The only Pokemon I truly regret being made is the ice cream Pokemon. Other than that, I'm fine. Heck, Archeops is absolutely awesome.

To be honest, Black and White is probably the most original of Pokemon games next to the first ones.

FireRed and LeafGreen = Red and Blue (or Green if you're Japanese)
HeartGold and SoulSilver = Gold, Silver, Crystal

So far there have only been two remakes but we'll probably have more as technology increases and the older games are severely outdated.
Remakes also are a bit necessary so older Pokemon can be obtained.

I'm just depressed still that I wasn't able to trade between second generation games and third gen games.
My poor Noctowl is still stuck on the Gold cartridge. I wanted to take him on adventures all throughout PokeJapan and PokeAmerica.

@goku I'm not mad! ^^ I have to say I'm the same way with eating. No matter how much I eat, I don't gain any weight. I can stuff my face at Thanksgiving and not care lol. XD I don't have any eating routine though. 😊
