"I don't think it would..." she muttered, finally finishing as she used the soft heat of the electricity to melt down her prosthetic and coat the chair, once she was finished it looked like one you would get from a normal hospital, just a bit more stiff and glowing. "heh" she couhed a bit and sat back in the chair "what about your eyes?" she asked "they're just so blue...we need to change that..."

'How? You by no means are allowed to stick things in my eyes.' Blue eyes flittering back and forth, Charlie sighed. 'What do you propose to change my eyes?' Taking a step back, the now brunette scanned the wheelchair bound girl. 'Convincing! You look like you just checked out of an assylum,' he joked with a smile.

She snickered a bit, turning her jacket inside-out, the white tight weve inside reflecting the light a bit. "Here" she muttered, pulling off her goggles and pressing in the lenses until they were flat. she unhooked the leather strap and stiffened it with a short burst "that's as close to glasses as you're going to get, it'll hide your unique eye color....." she muttered with a slight smile as she tossed them to him.

Twittling his thumbs, Charlie waited for Pixle to finish. Her modified goggles would hide his trademark blue eyes. 'Wow! You are quite the prop master!' Charlie exclaimed, examining their get-up. 'Second order of business is names and back story. We'll have to come up with something believable; like how you got the wheel chair and why we want to join the forces.' Locating a small stone, Charlie picked it up and began rolling it between his fingers. The boy tossed the pebble into the air and watched gravity do its part. The stone bounced into the sand, creating a small divet. 'Gravity is the same here, that at least, is Earth-like.' Charlie racked his mind for a parable relating to rocks and gravity, but turned up empty handed, or rather, empty minded.

"Well, why not stick SOMEWHAT to what we have now? we could be siblings, abandoned as kids and we just survived on out own for a while..." she suggested, shrugging her shoulders a bit and smiling "its somewhat believable, and then now we want to help however we can..."

@inkstep Yay! You ish here!

'That would work,' Charlie replied, nodding. 'Lets move under the cover of darkness. We can catch some sleep before we leave,' Charlie suggested, sitting in the warm sand. 'Or we can just hang around until then. We have five hours tops, until sundown, possibly four. You want me to call you by your middle name? I'm not sure that Brendon or his minions knew that much about you.'

@swimforlife hehe

" yea that'll work" she muttered. "and sure, I guess, what about you?" she asked as she lifted herself out of the chair and lowered down onto the sand, the small girl let out a slight yawn as she spoke, her soft scarlet eyes starting to droop a bit.

Reclining in the shade, Charlie tucked his arms under his head. 'I don't know. I guess I could use my middle name. It sounds girly, though. Blaire. Charlie Blaire Bombay. My aunt thought I was female until I was six. I had these terrible pictures of her dressing me up in these frilly little dresses. I can't belive I was even related to her. Now that this all went down, she probably isn't even family anyway.' Nestling himself deeper into the sand, Charlie flopped to his stomach. 'Sleep well Pix. We'll move by the light of the moon and stars.' Eyes heavy with sleep, Charlie found himelf spiraling into the realm of dreams, dark dreams at that. The pale moon shone, shillouteing his face. Charlie wheeled on his heel to see a gaping mouth, dripping with blood. Pixle was nowhere in sight. Worse off the mouth belonged to himself. Moments later, CHarlie sat bolt upright, breatihng heavy and sweating. The nightmare had passed, and the sun was still out.

Pixle giggled a bit, thinking of the pictures in her head "humiliating really, but what about a last name?" she asked as they both started to fade before an answer was given.
Slipping into blackness her dreams offered nothing in the means of escape. everything was falling apart, she was lost in her own mind, taynted by the voices that once were. Shifting a bit in her sleep, the girl stayed silent and motionless otherwise

Pixle had drifted into a soundless sleep, she neither moved or quivered. Charlie mulled her last question over. A last name? Reay? The first two letters or Reve and the last two letters of Bombay? Pondering his options, Charlie decided he would suggest Reay to Pixle when she woke up. Using his fingers to judge this distance of the sun from the horizon, Charlie guessed there was an hour and a half before sunset. Drawing with his index finger, Charlie scrawled random words and names in the sand. Bored of letters, he moved onto pictures. The blonde outlined a picture of the demon-dog that had befriended them. 'Kruff' he whispered, recalling the creature's last stand against Brendon. A salty tear dripped from his eye. It took a while to register that the dog and his mother were dead. Sobbing softly, CHarlie burried his face in the sand.

Pixle shifted a bit, a worried look crossing her face, followed by a fearful whimper. She started to shift a bit more, shuddering in her sleep as her mind took over. she had few fears, and the more irrational were comming to lifelike images in her head. Water filling the planet, snuffing out most life, she had a few recollections of the times she had almost drowned, the beeping of a heart monitor rang in the back of her head before going out with a long 'beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep' Shooting upright and panting heavily, Pixle looked around frantically, her eyes wide and glowing, piercing the now black veil of the night. "d...dry..." she muttered, pulling her knee to her chest and shivering a bit.

The mechanical sound of a beep, roused Charlie from his semi-sleep. He had managed to doze off just as the sun dipped below the horizon. Pixle shuffled around, muttering something that sounded like 'dry'. Glacning through the night, Charlie reached out, wrapping the girl tightly in his arms. 'What ever you were dreaming about, its gone now. Sun's down, time to make our move,' Charlie whispered in her ear, keeping his voice calm as possible. Pixle was fragile, frozen in her own world. Knowing the slightest faulter in tone could trigger something, Charlie attempted to speak clearly and slowly. His words came out garbled and monotone. His voice projection probably sounded like a water-logged robot. 'You're alright, Pixle, we're on Klaxion. Its time to leave now. Nothing can hurt you, I'm right by your side. Don't fall back to sleep, stay focused.'

R-right..." she muttered, shaking a bit. The girl had to think for a few moments before pulling her thoughts into clear view. "well then....w...we should proably go" she lifted herself into the wheelchair and adjusted the braking system and smiled over at him, looking a bit nervous as she did so.

Grasping the wheelchair's handles, Charlie's knuckles turned white. 'I'm ready, are you?' he asked, praying his voice would sound cool and collected. Deep down, he was plagued be fear. The sensation was border-line paralyzing. The boy shuffled a few steps before stepping back. 'You probably want to wheel yourself. I'll walk along side of you.' Pin pricks of starlight illuminated the sky. Three, tiny red dots, hung in the southren sky. Charlie extended his hand and pointed. 'Three red stars, what is the significance?' he asked, meaning in the rhetorical sense. A calm breezed ruffled his newly dyed hair. Goosebumps popped up over his exposed arms; Charlie ran his hand over his forearm for warmth. The peacefulness of the moment radiated a pang of something the brunette could not identify. Fear? Desire? Revenge, perhaps?

She smiled a bit and nodded, pushing herself a few feet, the sand posing an obstical, but nothing she couldnt get through "pretty cool if you ask me" she muttered as she looked up at the three red specks in the sky, her hair covered her eyes for a few moments as she lowered her head "Let's go" the albino muttered as she started off towards the town

@swimforlife sure

The sand made it harder to push along, though there was nothing the girl could do about it. She didn't complain though. "So where do we even go once we get there?" Pixle asked, looking up at charlie and biting her lip. Her hand slipped from the wheel and hitt the side of the chair, a clank ringing out through the air "oops"

Charlie knit a sandy brow, 'I didn't think that far ahead yet. Ask with out really asking, I guess. People around here seem to drop information pretty quickly, so we've got a slim chance of finding out.' A loud metal clang rung out in the star spattered night. It was Pixle, or rather her wheel chair. 'You alright? That didn't sound good,' Charlie commented, eyes locked on the horizon. Each step though the difficult terrian was more tough than the last. Fatigue had set in within a matter or ten minutes. The ammount of ground the had covered was minisucle. Glimmers of light and hope hung in the distance. The town's bustling night life had illuminated the sky for miles, however, Charlie was quite unsure of the distance. 'This is going to be a long haul,' he thought to himself. Swatting a bug from his arm, Charile scratched at his elbow joint.

"You're right"She rubbed her hand and kept going "yea i'm fine" the girl muttered, keeping her eyes locked on their target destination "will we even make it there before the sun comes up?" she asked, looking up at him with a concerned look in her eyes.

Shrugging, Charlie replied, 'Not sure, really. Its alot harder to walk through dry sand...' Cutting himself off, Charlie smiled, ever so slightly. 'Water causes sand to be more compact right? Increasing the ease of travel!' Rubbing his hands together, Charlie conjured a stready stream of water. The writhing liquid was lapped up by the sand. Now, more compact, the sand would be easier for the two to walk across. Or rather one walk and the other roll. The boy hitched an eyebrow, 'Maybe we'll make it afterall!' His past quickened to a brisk walk. 'Can you keep up, Pix or will I have to carry you?' he joke, a coy smile playing across his face.

She rolled her eyes, shrugging and zipping past him "Bombay, the real question is will I have to carry YOU!" she giggled a bit, going backwards now, her eyes reflecting the moon, causing her to look less human and more animalistic. Their red light seemed mechanical as she smiled "Hurry up charlie!" she called with anothher giggle.

In the amount of time Pixle had taken to crack a joke, she had covered an enormous empanse of travel. 'Hey, wait up!' he called through his laughter, 'Gaw you're fast with that thing. Is there room for two?' Eventhough Charlie's eyes were hidden by the thick lenses of the goggles, Pixle's eyes seemed to have an unnatural glow. Of cousre, her unique eyes were one of her most intriguing features, to Charlie. Tonight, he had taken an exceptional transfiction to the crimson pools. The moon light creates a darks shadowy conrast, resulting in a ruby red sheen. 'Why should I worry about three red stars,' he thought to himself, 'I have Pixle's lovely red eyes to stare into. They're much more dazzling and tangible than three red stars.' One thing no considered by the boy was wet sand holds imprints, more specifically, footprints.

Pixle giggled a bit and slowed down "No there isn't room for two, [yeep]!" she called with a snicker, glancin back at the notably closer town. Pausing for a moment, she created three static screens that circled her slowly, glowign blue with the information carried from her mind "This'll be fun, dont you think?" she muttered, her mind in a trance-like state as she ran over everything she knew on the screens.
