"Xale!!" Wellan shouted, dropping what he was carrying and running over to Xale. He then called a nurse that quickly came over to him and Xale. "Don't worry, you'll make it." he said, smiling.

Taso then got up and turned his back against Sashira. He then walked over to the nursery and searched for Rune.

Chasmos sat next to Hoshi. He then looked at Sashira and gave her a deer leg and a bowl of water, "Here you go Sashira." he said, smiling. He then looked at Hoshi and smiled at her.

Dragor, Amar and Mira were helping all the others.

Magia sighed, "Fine, but I'll be back in a moment." She said and went off to heal another dragon.

Jalob sighed, "Blue, can you at least sit down until you're healed a bit." He asked her softly.

Hoshi smiled at Chasmos before standing up and bringing Magia over to heal Sashira. She watched Magia as she slowly began to heal Sashira before looked at Chasmos again.

Kaji sighed and allowed the young dragon to get a nurse.

Yoru smiled at Kaleel, "Well you seem happy, did you fight well?"

Tenebare giggled and he squirmed out from under Rune and he tackled her, "Hehe, got you!"

Corue came back with a nurse. Corue and the nurse healed Kaji.

Xale took deep, slow breaths. "I'm... Not..." she got out, a sound of gurgling in the back of her throat. "I'm..."

Sashira smiled weakly at Chasmos. "Thank you... Son," she ventured to call him. "And, thank you Magia..."

Blue sat down stubbornly without a complaint or protest. She smiled a soft, weak smile at Jalob.

Kaleel nodded with a grin on her face.

Rune giggled and squirmed beneath Tenebrae, attempting to get away from the bigger, older hatchling.

Wellan just stood there in horror, watching as the nurse attempted the heal Xale, "No, no, you'll make it Xale, don't worry, you will!" he said, nervously chuckling. He then nuzzled her, tears falling down to the ground.

;~; Oh my god, Itunes is playing 9 Crimes right now...

Amar ran towards Xale and tried to heal her.

Taso sighed and looked from a distance at Sashira, 'If she dies... I won't be there. I need to make here feel alright if she does.' he though, groaning. He then ran towards her.

Chasmos looked at Hoshi and opened his mouth, "I... I love you Hoshi. I'm just... sorry for what I've done." he sighed, looking away, his eyes closed.

Taso looked at Chasmos and smiled. He then sat next to Sashira and smiled at her.

Mira ran to Kaji and softly hugged him, "Oh my goodness, I'm so glad you are alive." she said, crying of joy.

Magia smiled at Sashira, "Don't mention it." She murmured and continued to heal the dragoness. She then said, "That's the most I can do for you now, but I can do much more tomorrow. When I have more power."

Kaji smiled at Mira but flinched as she hugged him, but he didn't want to mention it. He kissed her and murmured, "I'm glad you're okay." He then smiled at Corue, "Thanks for getting a nurse."

Jalob smiled at Blue and kissed her on the cheek, "Everything's gonna be okay, we lost many but we achieved a great victory."

Yoru grinned and nuzzled her, "Sounds ike we both did well in this fight."

Hoshi smiled and hugged Chasmos, "I love you too, and you have nothing to be sorry for."

Tenebrae giggled and leaped off her, waggling his whole body in joy.

Corue smiled and nodded, happy to see Kaji and Mira together. He walked away to go heal other dragons.

Xale took a gasp of air. "Stop!" she shrieked in agony as the healing was only making the pain worse, and making the wounds sear. Tears streamed out of her eyes, merely because she was in pain.

Sashira nodded at Magia. "I should be fine, after tomorrow it'll be much better." She glanced at Taso out of the corner of her eye.

Blue nodded and in her eyes there was a twinkle of victory.

Kaleel smiled and nuzzled him. "That's good. I just feel sorry for those we are losing and their families..."

Rune laughed and leaped at Tenebrae, completely enjoying it.

Amar then stopped healing her and stared at her in confusion. wondering why it was hurting her.

Wellan looked at Xale, very worried.

Taso just looked at Sashira, slightly smiling.

Chasmos smiled and hugged Hoshi back.

Magia smiled and nodded before walking over to Amar, "What's wrong over here?"

Jalob smiled and chuckled, "And who knows, maybe we'll get a few nights sleep before the next crazy thing happens."

Yoru nodded, "Yeah, that's the worst part."

Hoshi smiled and kissed him before she heard her sister from far off. Her head shot up and she jumped to her pws before racing over.

Tenebrae giggled and tagged Rune, "Tag, you're it!" He declared before running away.

So, are you guys all done with the hunt? 😊 I think it was really fun and challenging, it also brough the community together which doesn't happen very often. ^^

"Just please stop..." Xale moaned. "It hurts..." Everything was fading to black very slowly, she could barely make out who Amar, Wellan, and Magia were. She also saw Hoshi, but just barely. She saw another dragon beside Amar whom she didn't recognize.

Sashira looked at Taso. "Why did you decide to stay?"

Blue smiled. "I hope nothing crazy happens for a long time... We really need a break."

Rune raced after Tenebrae, giggling madly that she'd found a new friend who was around her age.

Wellan gently pressed his snout against Xale head, not sure how to react to all of this.

Amar was just sitting next to Wellan.

"I... I never knew I was going to finish by being tricked by Athis... And I mean, this is where my true family is." Taso sighed, glancing at Fengo's body.

Mira smiled at Kaji.

Magia gently leaned down and said, "Xale, what happened? We're you hurt magically or physically?" She asked, trying to figure out what was wrong with the young dragoness.

Hoshi was actually beginning to cry, "Xale, you can die, please!"

Jalob smiled and nodded, "Yeah, I hope so too. Everything can calm down and we can just be normal dragons, for a whole anyways."

Kaji grinned and said, "How are you?" He asked, looking up at her.

Tenebrae grinned, and kept running, happy to have a friend.

I can't wait to see what the egg will become...

Corue just watched as all the dragons cried and told Xale he couldn't die. What is there to do? How can I comfort everyone? Was there a way to help this dragon.

"I... I don't know," Xale murmured. "I don't think... I'm destined to make it... Where's Yoru?" she asked, looking at Hoshi and then looking around.

"What do you mean, your 'true' family? First of all, Alia is your MOTHER, second of all... You killed your own father..." Sashira murmured. "And Mira could have been killed. As a matter of fact, we ALL could have been killed."

Maka ran up to Amar. "Father... Are you okay?"

Blue nodded with a chuckle before she winced and pulled up her paw to hold to her side. She growled in annoyance.

Rune leaped on Tenebrae. "Tenebrae!" she said, beaming brightly.

Amar turned around to see Maka, "Yes, I'm fine. Thanks for asking though. But I'm not sure that Xale is alright." he sighed.

"Sashira... Don't you see? My children, Chasmos and Rune, are here. And you... the only one that had truly accepted me in this world... the love of my life. Why would I leave you? What, to go live miserably with my evil and wicked mother who will just use me as some pawn?" Taso sighed, "Perhaps I did kill my father and perhaps my sister could have died... but I would never be able to leave you here."

"Xale..." Chasmos softly whispered, worried for her.

"Can you do something Dragor? You a-are a god after all!" Wellan finally managed to say.

"I'm afraid I cannot do anything to help her dear boy. Her destiny now rests in the hands of the Prophecy has written as path for her." Dragor sighed.

Wellan growled and got angry, "Forget about the stupid Prophecy! I just want her to live!" he roared.

Dragor violently turned towards him, "Stop it! You are sounding like that Athis! Instead of mourning, enjoy these moments like the last ones!" he growled, keeping his calm.

Yoru heard his name and he saw his sister. He slowly walked over, "I'm right here Xale..." He whispered softly, looking mournfully at his sister.

Hoshi stared at Xale and said, "Please don't leave us."

Magia looked at Wellen, "Calm down Wellen, you of all people should understand that sometimes destiny is destiny. It must be fufilled sooner it later, no matter how much it hurts." She murmured sadly, looking back to Xale.

Tenebrae giggled as she said his name and he laughed, "That's me, Rune!"

Corue looked at all the dragons around him.
Wow.. they really care about this dragon.. Xale? That's what they called him. He must have been a great dragon. I must do something... anything...
"Xale, you've got to make it." He spoke up. He knew his words couldn't do anything, but he just had to say something. "Fight." He swallowed nervously. "Don't be afraid." It was all he could think to say.

Maka peeked over at Xale. "I-I may be able to try to help with magic... But I'm n-not sure I can do anything you guys can't..." she murmured.

Xale sighed. "I'm sorry, guys. I mean, it's stopped. The pain. I just... Feel numb now. If I don't make it, I love all of you... Wellan... Hoshi, Yoru..." She looked at the others, and nodded at Magia in approval at her words. "Thanks..." she said, the word growing slurred as she passed out.

Sashira narrowed her eyes. "And why are you just realizing this NOW? AFTER all of this happened? I don't understand you at all... How am I supposed to trust you again? How do I know you won't... Won't betray us a-again?" she murmured.

Rune nodded with a bright smile. She seemed to think about something, not knowing what to say, because, well, she couldn't say anything.

Hoshi began to cry while Yoru looked away, fighting the sadness that was now taking place of the pride he had felt moments before.

Xale was still alive, but she was shallowly breathing.

"W-Wait... Let m-me come up," Maka said, pushing her way to the front of everyone else.

Sashira just stared at Taso. "Even if you do stay, no one else here is gonna trust you. This is... What, the second time you betrayed Sky Palace? The third? What do you expect from them?" she murmured.

Rune began to list the words -- or, rather, names -- she knew. "Tenebrae, Rune, Umbra."

I just want to make myself feel bad, but I'm so used to judging myself that it doesn't hurt anymore." Taso said, his eyes cold. He then turned around at Sashira, "I even... I even didn't mind when Chasmos killed me the first time. I'm not even sure, but I actually think I enjoyed it. Because I knew that I was important in this world, seeing others cry for me. Even if the pain was well, painful, I didn't mind it. I let it come to me. Because it's the only way I can release my anger. And if I don't release it, I might get angry and... and... kill others." he said, shivering as he remembered when he killed Iro because he was jealous.

Sashira stared at Taso in horror, but she said absolutely nothing. "You're scaring me..." she finally whispered.

Rune nodded in disappointment. She didn't know any other words well enough.

Wellan sighed and looked away. He was now looking at Sashira and Taso.

Taso looked at the ground, "I always have. I'm always some monster who killed Yugana, Fengo, Zack and so many others." he sighed. "And what did you expect me to say? That I was expecting that the others would give me hugs and say they love me? And I just said the truth, is even that making people scared?" he said, shivering with anger and sadness. "I'm just going to ask you... do YOU love me? Because right now, I'm too sure of that!" he shouted, his voice mixed with sadness and anger. He then walked away.

Chasmos looked at his dad, worried. He hear his last phrase and felt sadness overcome him. He wished he could go see Sashira, but Xale was in danger.

Magia nodded and looked away from the scene, her eyes landing on Fengo's dead body. She closed her eyes and whispered to herself, "We'll bury his body after this is over."

Hoshi and Yoru followed suit and looked away also.

Tenebrae nodded slowly, "Oh, well don't worry, you'll learn more words soon!" He promised her.
