Corue flew into the air and followed her. As he landed in the spot where they hoped to find more prey, he scented something nearby.

Astrum nodded. "I see." She looked around, but whenever she looked at another dragon she would wince her eyes and step back, as if the sight of an unknown dragon was like someone scratching her.

Xale glanced at Wellan and chuckled, overjoyed to see him so happy. "I don't think I've ever seen you this happy before."

"I... I'm... Look, Daddy, w-whatever I did wrong, I swear I won't do it again..." Rune whimpered, looking up at her father. "I'm sorry..."

Noctus looked at his friends and nodded, but he looked serious. "Why did Rune look so scared, do ya think?"

Blue smirked. "Well, gee, thanks." She nudged him playfully. "So it'll be an awesome yet stubborn hatchling."

Corvelix stole a glance at Corue. "You got something?" she whispered.

Meanwhile, a starving dragoness was outside of the Palace. She had collapsed, and didn't seem to be any older than Maka, which meant she had many years left as she was so young. Soon her life would fade away, from lack of sustenance.

Wellan chuckled and smiled at Xale, "Well... life's been quite of tough, so it's been quite a long time since we've have such quiet times like this. I heard the banquet for the celebration of our win against Athis and the Golden Eyes is tonight. It was postponed because of all the other celebrations, such as the birth of Noctus II. And the reparations of the palace after the fight of course." he said, slightly smiling.

Taso sighed and stopped walking as he looked at her, "Look Rune... it's okay. You're young and you're curious, so I can't blame you. And I don't want to be the one making your childhood boring and strict. I didn't have such a good childhood and I don't want yours to be ruined, especially if it's because of me. I know I'm your father and that I need to make sure that you don't do things that put you in danger, but I can't scold you all the time and hope nothing bad happens to you." he said, softly nuzzling her. He then stared at her in silence, seeing, but for just a moment, the hatchling he used to be, looking lost and so innocent. Taso then hugged his daughter, wishing for the deepest of his heart that nothing bad happened to her... and that Alia would stay as far away from Rune.

Medousa sighed and looked a bit glum. She swayed her tail around nervously, "Well... she's kinda scared of our dad. I mean... we do love him, but she, even me, can't stop seeing another, more scary, dragon in him. Just ask Kimbra, even his aura is sometimes crooked! I don't normally like talking bad about others, especially when it's somebody I care for and love, but... he's not the most honest and 'clean' dragon out there, sadly enough." she sighed, "I mean, even just me, Draken and Chasmos, his own 'children', are proof of his crimes and dark past! Even if he was possessed by a 'Reaper' I did some research on it and he had to let himself be influenced. So a part of him was already dark before the Reaper jumped in. But even there, I could go on for hours about Alia's influence on him." she sighed.

Draken was just walking around when he saw a collapsed dragon on the ground. He slowly and cautiously approached her, wondering if she was just resting or if she really needed help. But with further inspection, he noticed how thin she was. He gasped and shook her gently, in hopes of waking her up. He just prayed the gods that she wouldn't be scared by his looks...

Yoru glanced at Astrum curiously, "Is something wrong? You don't have to be afraid, nobody will hurt you hear. For now, we're all pretty decent dragons, though some are a bit grumpy, that evil dragons are gone for now." He promised quietly as he continued to lead her to the main entrance, "Are you hungry?"

Tenebrae listened quietly, "Really? I mean I have heard the stories of course, but I thought he had always been forced through all of that. Are you saying you think that he was never possessed by a Reaper, or that he let it possess him willingly?" He questioned, shocked by the news. He had heard all of the many stories of pretty much all the dragons in the castle, though some he probably shouldn't have heard many of the stories. This new news was twisting some of the stories he'd heard into something completely different, shocking him very much.

Jalob winked at her, "You got that right. Stubborn but awesome, that's a pretty great combination right there." He commented with a smirk in her direction.

Corue beckoned with his head to come over to him. He sniffed the air again and walked forward, going towards the scent.

Astrum looked at an unknown dragon. "You don't know what they're thinking." She murmured as she thought about how hungry she was. "Yeah.. I guess I could go for something to eat." She was about to sniff the air for prey when she remembered that Yoru would probably give her prey. It felt so weird to her to be around other dragons. She has been alone for so long...

Xale nodded in agreement. "Yes, of course. It's just... I'm glad to see you like this." She gave him a crooked grin.

Rune hugged Taso reluctantly back. "Dad... You never told me about your childhood. What happened...?"

Noctus looked a little shocked, as well. "Really? That's a bit surprising... I didn't know it was that bad... But, out of the blue, have you guys ever met a dragon that works for the humans? I wish I could!"

The dragoness opened her eyes slowly and, though they were unfocused, she saw Draken. She groaned softly, wondering what it was he would do to her.

Blue rolled her eyes and chuckled. "What do you think or hope it will be? A girl or a boy?"

Corvelix crept over to Corue and nodded, following him silently.

Wellan smiled and grinned.

"Well... it's not exactly true, but if Taso, my father, was attacked by the Reaper, if he barely had 'evil' in his heart, he would have never been possessed. But... since he did... well... it was easier for h-him to be under the control of the Reaper..." Medousa sighed, sounding a bit sad. She then stopped walking and rolled her tail around her body. She then suddenly turned towards Noctus and bared her teeth, showing the prince what seemed to come out of hell. Triangular, deadly white teeth with night black gums were shown. Her googles started to glow, sign that most likely her eyes were glowing. Her dozen of snakes on her head were hissing and swaying around angrily. "A human dragon?! Are you crazy?! They're traitors! TRAITORS! They've killed dozens of people from Sky Palace! So yah, I'm sure you'd LOVE to meet the ones that killed Unbrish and Firan and Kaji's parents!" she growled loudly. Medousa then started to breathe heavily, tears streaming from under her googles. She then looked a bit surprised and ashamed, "I-I'm sorry... it's just t-that..." she stuttered, her words trailing off. She then looked away.

Taso sighed, "That's a very long story. And there are maybe some things that you might... not want to hear." he said, "So... before I start, promise me that you believe that you are old enough for more mature things and that you won't ask questions until I finish talking." he said.

Draken didn't say anything, knowing that this dragoness needed help right away. He then gently carried her and flew to Sky Palace. He placed her on the ground, rolled her on his back and ran to the hospital.

Yoru smiled and quietly led her to the kitchen and he looked around, suddenly spotting a silver dragoness about the same age as him. "Hey Hoshi! Can I get something to eat for her?" He asked his sister and then slowly gestured to Astrum.

Hoshi had been working in the kitchen when she heard her brother calling out to her. She looked so much like her mom that it wasn't funny, she could have been mistaken for her mom if it weren't for the fact that she had different color eyes and the tip of her right horn was missing. She was also smaller in size. She smiled softly at her brother, "Sure, what would you like?" She asked the young hatchling.

Tenebrae had been about to comment on what Noctus jad said when Medousa suddenly freaked. He raised an eyebrow and listened to her in surprise. He smiled wearily and said in a soothing voice, "Calm down, Med, we understand that domestic dragons have done some really bad things to us in the past. However, they can't all be evil, right? They're still dragons after all." He commented quietly, "Besides, some of the dragons that lived here were once domestic, like Firan, and they were still good dragons, right?" He said, trying to reason with her, he had to admit that he agreed with Noctus. It would be cool to meet a domestic dragon, they lived so differently from the wild dragons that lived at Sky Palace, it enticed him.

Jalob considered the question but then shook his head, "I don't really care whether it's a boy or a girl." He said, gender truly didn't matter to him. He then cocked his head, "What about you, do you want the egg to be a boy or a girl?"

What do dragons eat anyway? x3

Corue walked a bit furthur to find a few more deer. He looked from one to the other to figure out how they could catch all of them at once. As soon as the two dragons jumped out of their hiding place, all three of the deer would freak out and sprint away.

Astrum looked at Hoshi in surprise as she was so kind. She took a step back. "Uhh..." She didn't really know what she wanted to eat either. She looked away from Hoshi, and into the ground.

@chapus2009 Unbrish and Firan weren't killed by domestic dragons, btw. 😸 Unbrish was killed by a rogue group and Firan was killed by Zoru.
@hedwig68 I still really love Zoru, by the way. ;-; Even if he killed Firan. He has potential, man. If he and Vester got together they'd stir up some trouble in Sky Palace. XD
@froggytails All kinds of things, I suppose. Obviously they eat fresh meat; elk, deer, rabbits, whatever they can catch in the wild. And they can use their 'paws' to pick up things, so I'm assuming they probably have different sorts of drinks and probably other kinds of food, too. X3

Xale smiled and continued strolling along quietly.

Noctus looked very taken aback and shocked for a moment, but the look in his eyes quickly turned from that to offense and anger. "Are YOU crazy?! Not all domestic dragons are bad, I'm sure!" But he stopped as Tenebrae began talking, his anger dissipating quickly and just looked at Medousa and nodded. "He's right, they're still dragons just like us." He then smiled slightly. "And it's okay. We all have our moments, right?"

Rune nodded. "Of course, Dad... I promise." She looked curious, much less afraid now. "You know I'm mature, I can handle it. And I won't talk about it if you don't want me to."

The dragoness didn't seem to care much what happened to her. "Huh...? Where are we going...?" she whispered.

Blue shrugged. "I don't think it matters much. Not to us, anyway. I'm still curious, though."

Corvelix seemed almost to read his mind. "What if we blasted them with fire? You think that'd work?" she whispered.

@froggytails Just like Pebble said. x3 I guess hatchlings would eat bugs and berries at first and they would maybe eat small pieces of meat. Later one, adults and teens will mainly eat meat, but some will prefer fruit.
@pebblestar-nightclan Woops. xD But I'm not surprised that I forgot I mean... we've had SO many dragons that it's so freaking hard to remember how they all died. x3 But I do remember that somebody did die during that war, right?


Wellan kept walking and sat down under a tree.

Medousa sat down, quiet, her tail wrapped around her left back leg. She sighed and looked at the ground, pawing at the ground, "I... I guess you guys are right... it's just that... we can't always trust them." she sighed, lifting her head.

Puko had been walking around, doing his casual cleaning, when he heard a few familiar voices. He then turned around to see Medousa and the others. He smiled and kept working.

"Somewhere where you will be safe." Draken said, taking her to a room. A nurse walked in and nodded at him, looking a bit scared. She then walked up to the dragoness and gave her some fresh water and some herbs.

Taso nodded and smiled, "You can tell others. But I'll start now." he said, taking a deep breath.

PS: The story will contain flashbacks, but he explains them. c: So if there is a flashback, I will tell you when it comes, he talks about that flashback. Sorry if this confuses you!

"I guess I should start with my relationship with my family. From the moment I hatched, I was my mother's favourite. To her I was perfect, almost a spitting image of her, and since my parents had both very important roles in the Golden Eyes, well, I was very important to them. But... this attention and love came with a bitter relationship from my siblings, Zack especially. He hated me, he was jealous of me. Mira, on the other hand, was still loved by my mother, maybe not as much as me, so she didn't bother hating me."

-Flashback-

"Hey guys, let's play tag!" I said, a joyful smile on my face. It was a particularly sunny day, and I wanted to enjoy it while it lasted, so why not spend some time with my brother and sister?

"I'll join!" Mira said, also smiling. She then walked up to me and sat next to me.

"I'm not coming." Zack said, sitting under a tree and fixing me a glare that I recognized too well. "Cause if I 'hurt' you, you will go crying to mom and dad and I'll be punished. Like always." he sighed, a sad look in his eyes. Why? Why did he have to hate me so much? Why couldn't I have a loving brother?

"Hey! It's not my fault if mom and dad love me more, and I don't even know why!" I hissed. It wasn't fair! I wanted him to be loved too but... I couldn't do anything, so why was it ME? Why did Zack hate ME for it?

My brother walked away, not saying a word. I sighed and looked around me. Where was Mira...? I then looked back to where Zack was, only to see that Mira was running after him. I growled in anger. They left! I then shivered as I felt a sudden drop of water fall on my back. I looked up... there goes another sunny day.

'I wish Daria was here... I'm sorry for what I did buddy...'

-End of flashback-

"Of course, we were all too young to understand why. But as soon as I was two months old... things changed for the worst. It was then that I learned what it was to be the Zealot of the Golden Eyes. It was that day that my mind started to become nothing but a living torment."

-Flashback-

I couldn't sleep.

It was so hard... all those terrible images in my head. Dragons... a palace... a king and queen... what was all of this? I told mother, but she smiled. Why? Did she want my pain? She then walked away to talk with father and told me she would be back. She's been gone for around 5 minutes.

But... I still can't get it out of my head. It keeps repeating, again and again... and again. Who is this Noctus? And Yugana...? Corue, Draken, Hoshi...? I'm sure these names mean something but... they are so strange to me. Blood... humans riding dragons... strange metallic beasts... it scared me so much. I curled up and I started crying. I then felt somebody nuzzle me. I sniffled and looked up.

"Daria!"

She smiled at me and nodded. She was my friend. What seemed like the only one in this world at least... She was a dragon like me but had almost no scales, mostly just pearly white fur. Big soft paws with small claws, tiny wings and a fluffy tail. She didn't even look evil! She was very far from it as well... and she couldn't talk. But Daria was still my friend.

"Y-you came back... so you forgave me?" I said, joy in my heart.

She simply nodded and smiled. I gazed at her white eyes, with no present black iris, for it was only light grey. At least she wasn't blind. Daria then pawed at my tears, slightly swiping them with her furry paws.

"I... I'm having nightmares Daria... It's terrible. I just see a lot of blood and d-dragons d-dying and names I d-don't k-"

I wish she didn't come that day. I would have saved her from so much trouble.

Alia grabbed me, so fast that I didn't even know it was her. She carried me to an unknown place. Everything was dark... so dark... Then I slowly slipped away.

What was happening?

-End of flashback-

"As soon as my mother found out that I was gifted with the Prophecy, which was a power that granted me the ability to see the future or past, she knew that I was the one. And so began my training. It was hard. I never saw Mira or Zack or Daria for at least 4 months... it was terrible. And then... that day came." Taso said, feeling his paws tremble and tears come up to his eyes.

-Flashback-

I hated them. I hated every single one of them. My brother, my sister and even my father. Only my mother was the right one among them. Such fools... they would tremble when they knew of the power I could behold! She was proud of me... so proud... yes. It felt good.

Today was my day. I was about to become a Golden Eye. What could stop me?

Oh how I was wrong to think that...

I walked in a dimly lighted area, in a cave. I could only make out the shape of a large column of something... looked like wood. I heard shuffling. It sounded strange.

Then there was a bright light. My eyes adjusted to the new lighting and I s-

No.

It wasn't possible.

She didn't have anything to do here.

Daria... it was Daria... Tied to a wooden column like an animal. Tears rushed down her face as she saw me. She tried to escape. I backed away, I needed to get away! I couldn't possibly kill her! Never! But something, or someone stopped me. It was my mother. She looked at her. No, I couldn't deceive her! I couldn't... she had saved me from all the foolish dragons out there.

"Kill her."

Such words, I never knew they could have such an effect on me. She said it so sternly, so coldly... and with such evil. I felt my body tremble as I turned around to faced my dear friend... How could I think that other dragons were foolish? Was my mother lying to me all this time...? Daria couldn't be foolish...

I then stepped up to her and gulped. I smiled at her, "Hey buddy." I said quietly, looking at the ground in shame. She stopped squirming and painfully smiled at me. Her neck was attached by a roped to the pole, as well as her stomach. She hadn't eaten in a while... but her fur was still as white as ever. I cried. I then slowly put my paw on her chest. She still smiled, as painfully as last time. I punctured her chest and watched as blood sliding across her snow fur. It trickled to the ground. She couldn't talk, but I could read only one word in her eyes:

Why?

I wish I could tell her. I wish I could have saved her. But it was too late. I could feel mother grin behind me. She was happy. I felt torn between what was right and wrong. I was so lost and alone... yet Daria was there, right in front of me...

I needed to satisfy Alia. So I screamed painfully and I cried as I killed Daria, feeling the warm crimsom liquid on my paws. She sighed and closed her eyes as her head dropped, life leaving her. I cried and hugged her, "Daria!" I screamed. This couldn't be real.

"DARIA!"

-End of flashback-

Taso was quiet. He didn't say a word. He just sat there, tears flowing from his trembling cheeks. "As for the r-rest... it was just as hellish as the beginning. Until I arrived here. Zack died, and it was the end of my childhood." he said.

@pebblestar-nightclan Haha, yeah, he does have some potential I think. It's odd being him at times since he's my first seriously evil dragons. To write him out well, I have to channel my inner Myia. XDD I think him and Vested could do some serious trouble if they collaborated, Zoru just needs to learn to play well with others. XD
@chapus2009 Oh my god, poor Taso! ;-; Honetsly, at first I though Daria was a cat because I have a friend with a cat that has white fur, soft paws, and a fluffy tail. XDD

Hoshi smiled softly at her, "Don't be nervous, I just need to know what you want so I can fetch it for you." She told Astrum, "I'll list some stuff out. We have deer, elk, moose, rabbits, and some other fresh kills. We also have various fruits and such." She explained, listing some of the food she could think of.

Yoru watched the exchange between Hoshi and Astrum quietly, watching Astrum's reaction to meeting the new dragon. He knew Hoshi was a good first dragon for Astrum to meet, she was one of the nicest dragons he knew and was friendly to everyone, unless in combat.

Tenebrae nodded, "Well of course we can't always trust them. They have evil drahons amongst their kind, just as we do. They also have good ones like us too, you just have to learn how to tell them apart. However, we're really not all that different. I bet if you placed five domestic dragons and five wild ones in a room, you wouldn't be able to tell them apart. We're not so different after all," he commented smoothly.

Jalob nodded, "Yeah and it it doesn't matter to us, it shouldn't matter to anybody else either." He said quietly, eyes once again staring at the egg.

"Hm.." Corue thought for a moment. "We don't want to burn our prey though.. it would make it bad to eat- wouldn't it?" He asked as he looked at Corvelix.

Astrum slowly stepped forward, aware that Yoru was watching her as well. "Well, uh.. rabbits are my favorite prey.." She murmured. She realized that she was talking too softly for Hoshi to hear. "Rabbits please," she said, speaking up.

@chapus2009 Yeah. XD It's easy to forget how our dragons die. Especially the ones that die more than once. What is Daria, by the way? Is she just a weird dragon, or another animal entirely?
@hedwig68 LOLOL your "inner Myia" ha ha ha. XD I love evil characters. ❤️ I even like Kalo, even though he was some sick, demented dude. And yes. >D Vester likes to play with the minds of others, but she actually LIKES Zoru, meanwhile she doesn't like the others that well. She sees potential in him, and wants to make plans. But, I'm just IMAGINING what kind of trouble they could rack up in SP. >D

"Yeah, of course we can't. We don't now, do we?" But then Noctus heaved a sigh. "I'm gonna go outside and explore. Seeya guys later." With that, he walked outside without another word and trotted off. (Chapus, I think you know what to do here. 😉 )

The words slightly comforted the dragoness, but she refused the water and herbs, the thought of ingesting them making her sick to her stomach. Her eyes seemed to show the illness, as well. The smell of the herbs made her gag, but after a moment's hesitation she drank a bit of the water.

Rune listened carefully, she didn't seem to have a negative or positive reaction to the story. "What about when you met Mommy, or had me? Didn't we brighten things up a little bit?"

Blue then slightly smiled. "Well... I'm not sure where to put it, but I'm not giving it to the other nurses to take care of. I'll put it somewhere else."

Corvelix shrugged. "We'd pretty much just be cooking it, but... Maybe it WOULD burn it... Hmm... Well, I'm sure the other one wouldn't be able to outrun us for very long. At least I don't THINK..."

A small armoured hatchling was walking around the palace gardens, looking lost and scared. (Hehehehe~)

Draken then walked back in and sat next to the dragoness, "So... how are you feeling now?" he asked, slightly smiling.

Taso then looked at Rune and smiled, "Of course you did. But I'm talking about my childhood you see." he said, slightly smiling as he nuzzled her.

Hoshi smiled and hurried off, soon coming back with two rabbits, "Is that good?" She asked her as she gave the hatchling the two rabbits.

Yoru grinned slightly, he was glad that Astrum had managed to no longer seem nervous. She was stronger than most hatchlings it would seem.

Jalob nodded, "Good idea. I don't think the gardens will be a very good place for much longer, someone will stumble upon it sooner or later."

Corue nodded slowly. "Well, if we both just spit out a large, but short, amount of fire at them, and then attack them all, then the fire will engulf them and they will not know where to go." He said. "We would just have to decide which one of us would attack the third one. Are you fast?"

"Yes, thank you." Astrum thanked as she cautiously took the rabbits from her. She looked from Hoshi to Yoru, and back again. "Do I eat these here or.."

Noctus walked along until he literally bumped into a little hatchling. "Heh, whoops--" He cut off and his eyes widened as he saw she was not familiar. "Who are you?!"

"Sick," the dragoness groaned. "But maybe after the water settles in, I'll be able to eat the herbs and then I can eat real food," she croaked. "Thank you..." she then whispered.

"Ah, okay," Rune said with a nod. "What a strange past you had."

Blue nodded in agreement. "I can take it to my room, or you can take it to yours."

Corvelix nodded. "Good plan. And yeah, I'm pretty quick."

"A-AH!" the female hatchling said, surprised to see Noctus as well. "M-my name is Kisha! D-don't hurt me I just lost my -t-troop!" she said, lying down and putting her paws over her eyes. For a domestic dragon, she was actually quite pretty. Her turquoise, blue and purple scales shined brightly in the light. She had lovely violet eyes, and a pair of horns. Her silver armour actually brought a lovely touch to her colours.

Draken smiled, "Good. It's nice to see that you are all right. I was quite worried back there..." he sighed, "But you're welcome. I couldn't simply let you die there anyway." he said.

Taso nodded, a sad look in his eyes, "That is true." he sighed.

Medousa nodded and waved goodbye to Noctus before leaving to her room.

Hoshi nodded, "You can eat here, this is the kitchen by the way. It's where all the prey is kept after it's served. You can come here anytime if you're ever hungry. I don't work in here all the time, usually every other day and there are always at least a few people working in the kitchen." She explained.

Jalob shrugged, "Either is fine with me, I think your room would probably be the better option then mine. Mine is a little messy and there wouldn't be very many good places to set something as fragile as an egg." He admitted sheepishly.

"Oh," Noctus chuckled. "Don't worry, I won't hurt you, Kisha." He smiled at her, but then his faced darkened. "But you'd better get out of here, if you're domestic. Aren't you?" he whispered. (I like the left one. X3)

"Oh... It's weird. Nobody's ever cared enough to help me," the dragoness admitted softly. She looked so weak and frail just lying there. "If I survive this... I will never be able to repay you..."

"But you're okay now," Rune said. "Because it's over. Right?"

Blue chuckled, knowing how organized her room was. "Alright. I'll take it to my room, then."

Corvelix nodded. "Gotcha. So fire first, then go after our targets?"

Kisha looked surprised, "What are you talking about...?" she said. "I t-thought I was on human grounds!" she stuttered, pointing at the palace, "See?" she said. She then jumped back and looked at Noctus, perplexed, "D-Darn! I knew it! I should have known by your smell!" she sighed, sounding disappointed and angry, "I need to leave." she said, walking around. But before she left, Kisha turned around and smiled at Noctus, "But... thank you for helping me and sparing my life. May we meet again!" she said, before diving down from the floating island and flying away.

Draken sighed and smiled, "But you will find many people here willing to help you don't worry." he said, smiling. 'Maybe she'll know how I feel...' he thought. "You don't need to repay me. Just knowing that I helped a needing dragon helps me." Draken said.

Taso nodded, "Yes... but it still stays with me. I know I need to forget the past and move on but... it's harder than I thought it would be." he sighed.

Hoshi watched with a slight smile, "So I never found out your name. What would that be?" She asked the hatchling curiously, she could tell that the hatchling was not from the Palace, Hoshi would have seen her before. She guessed it was just a young rogue but wondered how her brother had come to find her. She glanced at him out of the corner of her eye and the look on his face seemed to say, "I'll tell you later," she then turned her gaze back to the young dragoness.

Jalob smiled, "Smart idea." He agreed, considering his room was the exact opposite of Blue's, the egg was much safer in her room than in his own.

Corue nodded. "Yes." He took a deep breath. "Let's do this." He said as he breathed in deeply and spat out a large ball of fire at the prey. The prey was engulfed in their flame, and Corue jumped into the fire on top of one of the deer.

"My name?" Astrum said as she looked up from her meal. "Oh- my name's Astrum." She said as she swallowed a piece of rabbit.

"W-Wait!" Noctus called after Kisha. "Don't leave yet!" He then sighed and sat back on his haunches. "So much for THAT. She just came and left all of a sudden!"

The dragoness nodded. "Thank you again. And somehow, after I'm done here, I WILL repay you. Just... Not yet. I need some... Er, healing... First."

Rune nodded, seeming wise beyond her age. "Mommy sometimes says things in her sleep. About her past. I don't know if you've ever heard them..."

Blue chuckled. "Alright." She gently picked up the egg and nodded to Jalob.

Corvelix quickly took out her target and then headed after the next.

Kisha could faintly hear Noctus's voice. She wished that she could return, but her troop would get worried... and she could not stay in that... place. She would get in trouble after all. She just sighed and smiled as she saw a large group of silver armoured dragons in a field. She landed and arrived only to be scolded and laughed at, even by her own friends! Even that stranger up in the floating island was nicer to her...

Draken smiled brightly and chuckled, "It's all right, no rush." he said calmly.

Taso shook his head, "No, I never have... care to tell me some things she says?" he asked. He just realized... he never knew much of her past. She did just appear in Sky Palace out of thin air...

Astrum was taken aback by Hoshi's kindness. "Uh.. Thank you- it's nice to meet you to." She looked down at her rabbit. "Yeah, it's delicious."

Noctus trotted around the Palace once more, looking for someone interesting who would cure his boredom.

The dragoness grinned faintly. "Did you ever tell me your name?"

"Well... I sometimes hear her speaking about her dad. And her mum sometimes, too." Rune dropped her voice to a whisper. "I think Mommy was abused when she was young."

Blue nodded and nuzzled Jalob. "See you later. Do drop by if you need to. And try your best to steer clear of the dimwits."

Corvelix nodded and grinned in triumph. "Of course it did. We're GENIUSES."
