The piece of meat landed in the cage, a few feet away from Kyle's sleeping form. He yawned and stretched, his wings flaring out. He still lay on the ground, that was warm from his body heat. Kyle opened an eye, and stared at the piece of meat. He opened his other eye, then sat up. He ran a hand through his hair, then picked up the piece of meat with his thumb and forefinger.

Look: Evenes is easily labeled the 'freak' of Project Life mainly because of the strange oddities of her appearance. Her skin is pitch black, in the literal sense of the word, and her arms are dotted with orange spots, alike a caterpillar. Shortly cut red hair frames her black marble eyes (which barely stand out on her skin) and slightly lighter face. contrary to the color, her skin isn't poisonous but has another defense mechanism. Once touched in a harmful way, Evenes launches needles from her skin that makes her unable to be touched.
Personality: Rather bold and brave (which could be classified as stupidity). Bash-headed to a dangerous extent and a bit selfish too, but good-hearted by nature. Compensation to her uncanny appearance, she is a wonderous friend and rarely capable of getting angry.
Other: "Live fast, die young" is her motto. She is aware of a butterfly's life span (a week or luckily, a year) and wants to make the most of her life before she turns into a butterfly and dies.

Stepping inside the healing wing, Alexin looked around in a wary manner, not yet used to the large white rooms that the facility seemed to be full of. He blended perfectly with the pearly walls and at first, the nurses didn't seem to notice his presence. Of course, his muffled whimpers didn't pas unnoticed and a second later, one of them rushed to check on the bloodied winged scientist.

The bite didn't seem to be infected, they'd informed him of that shortly and he drew in a relieved breath. At least he wsn't going to turn into a vampire (as much as he didn't believe in vampirism, Fang's little show had turned out rather shocking to him). He trembled at the contact of the anticeptic, it stung to feel it on your skin, especially on your aw flesh wound... For one, at least the bleeding had stopped and the nurses were capable of patching him up quite well before sending him off to shower (carefully) in his dorm room. Dorm rooms were usually shared living spaces, he'd realized that along the way, but hoped he would be alone in his. Another human, or mutant's presence would get him nervous.

@chapus2009 Can I add that her body can bend unnaturally and that she has a tuff of hairs around her neck, like a butterfly?

Tucked away from the commotion and other experiments, a quiet cell with bars, more numerous than normal, held silence unusually thick and a strange darkness that eerily spread around. Said cell had no windows, hence the project's lack of need for sunshine. And another reason, that way said project would fit onto the background, calmly remain unbothered and in tranquility, wrapped in a tight cocoon of oblivion.

Slender black fingers scraped the walls of her little corner, as she waited, patiently for her food, which had not yet been brought. Marble black eyes shifted around restlessly, yet not from nervousness, but of habit. She always checked on anyone that passed her cage, which was seldom. Wrapped into her own body, she remained unmoving, except for the palm dragged down the unpainted brick wall. She could hear the faint sound of someone's voice, of someone's mumbling too (whoever it was sounded awfully sleepy) and someone's ...sobbing (perhaps it was Arla. Not that she'd heard anything recently, but the ex-scientist seemed to always be crying...).

Patiently, she remained waiting. The lack of sunlight, lack of windows wasn't a coinsidence. She disliked sunlight in general, and especially despised being brought to the gardens - sometimes, she wanted to misbehave so she wouldn't be allowed to go there...

Alicia then left Kyle and brought a packet of leaves to Evenes's cage and threw them in. She then sat down on a bench and stared at her.

Turning her head in a comical slow-motion (her reflexes were rather slow, a bad defence mechanism) and she looked at the slim figure at the front of her cage. Slowly and sloth-like, she stood up, taking her time to walk over taintingly slow and plopp down in front of the leaves thrown on the ground. With one last blink of her marble eyes directed at Alicia, the girl took hold of one large ;eaf and bit into it, lazily swallowing it down.

A second bite later, she looked up again (in slow motion as before) and she parted her lips.
"Thank you," her quiet, yet surprisingly melodicious voice penetrated the silence that hung between them. Her statement was curt, strictly short and held no emotion whatsoever.
