TT_TT Eh, here goes nothing...Still walking (barely!) through the thick forest, trying not to leave the safety of the shadows too much, Aizel felt half dead as of now. She felt her lungs, burn. Gasping for breath didn't help ease the pain anymore as it only seemed to spread with every inhale. Blood dripped from her fingers, clamped onto the wound in her chest. At one moment, she finally lost her balance, tipping forward and tumbling to the grassy rgound. Her lungs reafused to work, her chest struggled to rise and she wheezed loudly. "Help" she tried screaming but it was of no use. Her voice, quiet as a whisper, came out raspy and broken, sounding like a desperate whimper. "Help"

@jupiter_hollow Ask and you shall receive.-The cry was barely more than a whisper, mangled and raspy, concealed by the noise of buzzing insects and fluttering birds. It was so quiet that no one would have been able to hear it--no one but the girl with supernatural hearing.Phoebe cut her breath off as an odd sound filtered through the forest. It sounded as if someone had said help . . . but she couldn't have been sure. Then the sound repeated itself, and before Kenny could object, she slipped back into the forest.Searching for the source of the cry was a challenge. The most she had to look for was heartbeat or breathing, unless the person cried out again. Taking a gamble, she called out into the trees: "Where?"

@jupiter_hollowJust as a deer snaps it head to the side when it hears danger, Phoebe's head whipped around to face the forest to her left. She bounded rapidly in that direction, sure now that she was close.The girl was a grisly sight. She was bleeding profusely from what seemed to be the chest, but from all the blood covering her, it was difficult to tell. Phoebe's eyes narrowed, and her mouth ironed out into a hard line. She hastily untied Kenny's shirt from her side and peeled it away carefully, so as to preserve her own wound. She then approached the girl, staring as directly into her face as she could.Phoebe must have seemed the angel of death. She stood tall over the prone figure of the girl, holding a spear firmly in her right hand. Her face and chest were splashed with dark, dried blood, and the right side of her shirt was stained completely. Her legs were scratched and bruised, and her grey eyes were without an ounce of compassion. They held pity, perhaps, but no kindness.Bending down, she gripped the girl by the shoulder and attempted to turn her onto her back.

The snow in the mountains have melted as well as the ice and glaciers in the hidded river. Head Gamemaker Audrey(random name xD) crossed her arms. There were no deaths today and nothing a matter of interest hapoening except for an almost dead girl calling for help. The mutation girl they sent in didn't seem to be doing anything and no one was opening any crates. Audrey turned and faced the other gamemakers in the room and said in a loud voice. "Any ideas?" One of the male gamemakers of lower status sucked in his breath. "A flash flood possibly? Maybe an earthquake?" Audrey considered the ideas then turned back to the many computer screens showing the view from hidden cameras. The buttons in the control panel glowed and blinked in the dim lighting. Audreys fingertip hovered over a small gray button. She pushed down then flicked an blue switch. An large earthquake and a flood.(continued....)

Audrey stared at the screens as the island began shaking. Cracks appeared over the surface and trees began to shake, lose their leaves and fruits, then fall. The ocean water waves grew in size and burst over the sandy beach.Audrey put her finger on her bottom lip, examineing the happenings. She flicked another switch that kept the water level low enough so if the contestants were able to head halfway up in the mountains and not fall from the treacherous climb,they would be safe.

When I said in her description that Phoebe was all about self-preservation, I wasn't kidding.@jupiter_hollowThe walls of Phoebe's grandmother's antebellum house would often settle when the weather changed. They produced a snapping, creaking, groaning noise as they shifted themselves into the earth. The sound that echoed from the earth and the trees was like this, but far deeper, as if it was the growl of some beast. Then, the ground beneath Phoebe's feet began to shake.Panic seized her immediately. She needed to get out of the forest; trees around her were already shedding boughs and fruit, and in the distance, one toppled over completely.Leaving the wounded girl behind completely, Phoebe sprinted back toward the mountains, dodging fallen brush as best she could. The rippling of the ground made running difficult, and she stumbled every few seconds, but eventually reached the clearing.The sound of rapidly moving water reached her ears.Frantically, she dug her feet into the mountain, clawing her way up. If she could just find a safe ledge to hide under--before she was taken down by a rock slide, or an avalanche, or a flood.

He turned in multiple directions, deciding the best place to run or hide. Water came from all around and cracks began to appear. He decided his best chance would be the mountains.Kenny sprinted for the mountains, to see Phoebe already climbing. He looked for a foothold, and grabbed on

@bunnyshadow XD Those weren't suggestions, but do what you will with them.-Phoebe scaled the mountain as quickly as she could. Some five meters up, a screaming pain bit into her side, and she gasped and blinked back tears. Her side wound had reopened, and was now spilling fresh blood.With adrenaline coursing through her veins, she pressed on, using both her hands and feet to drag herself up the mountain. Every few seconds she spared a glance back, and saw that water from the beach had begun to swamp the arena. Kenny was following close behind her, but she couldn't find anyone else rushing for high ground.In her craze, part of her didn't care whether or not Kenny made it up the mountain with her. She'd met him only yesterday--the reason for their being close was that he hadn't tried to kill her. However, somewhere deeper, a part of her was glad that she'd found a trustworthy ally.Up a ways, and around the side of the mountain, she spotted what seemed to be a cave. It was up high enough to hopefully provide shelter from the flood, and if the earthquake was enough to trigger an avalanche, they wouldn't be buried. "Over there!" she shouted down to Kenny, pointing in the direction of the cave before scurrying closer herself.

@BunnyshadowI'll be the mutant in the mountains. 😉Creana got the hint when the island started shaking. She wasn't adjusting fast enough. "Sorry Audrey!" She murmured at the sky, and ran towards the mountains, the place she'd been taught to go in case of a flood. She knew the island off by heart, but she wouldn't put it past Audrey to blow her up if she didn't get on the job fast enough. You COULDN'T do a bad job, or Audrey removed you. Fast. When she reached the mountains, she hid behind some rocks, knife brandished, ready for the kill.Time to kick these games up a notch.

@hedwig68@bunnyshadowJasper cursed. He thought that maybe, there were trees that were safe, although trees only help if there was a flood. If there was an earthquake, he wasn't so sure.....

@hedwig68 XDD Yup. I'm 'real'@bunnyshadow"How would some of us get over there so quickly?" Jasper asked. He could shadow travel, but he had never been in those mountains before, and it would be a bad idea. Jasper thought that Alex was lucky. She could just turn into a bird and avoid the flood and earthquake altogether.

Creana tapped her knife against a rock, sharpening it in between two rocks, so it would be quiet. They would flee to the mountains soon, but they would be a lot slower, and she had to entertain herself. She didn't have super speed, but she could move faster than almost any human, because of the way she was made. She was low to the ground, and her hair was still immaculate, her clothes camouflaged, ready. Ready to kill, that is.@BunnyshadowOh yeah! Who can Creana kill?

An pile of large rocks lay nearby.Sylvia gasped as Alex shapeshifted and climbed on. The water was at waist level already, and made her movements slow and clumbsy.Kenny struggled to climb the rest of the rock face before climbing into the cave after Phoebe.

@jupiter_hollow Yay!A small girl with tanned skin and black hair was lying in a pool of blood. "Lupa, come quick. SHe's weak and we can kill her off quick." Nyx shouted. Lupa nodded and followed Nyx. Nyx stopped by her and raised her dagger. "STOP!" Lupa shouted. Nyx flinched and backed away. "It wouldn't be fair to kill her." Lupa said. "Let's help her, we need more allies, anyway." Lupa said. Nyx glared at Aizel for a second and nodded. "Go get some herbs." Lupa commanded. Nyx ran off to get healing items. Lupa stayed with Aizel.

Grace instantly ran as soon as she knew what was happening. An earthquake was cracking the ground, while a flood simultaneously occurred. She raced over to the mountains. Perhaps now would be a good time to hide her true colors. She turned invisible while slowly climbing a mountain. She hoped Selena was okay.@bunnyshadow@hedwig68@jasper@lola622f@blackdeathkitty

Audrey leaned back in her chair. An gamemaker besides her pushed a switch and a cage opened from the bottom of the water. Sharp fins sliced through the water. Great white sharks. @bunnyshadow I see how it is. Don't tell Pepper about the flood. 😃 When Pepper saw the first cracks in the ground, he scaled a nearby tree in an instant. He could deal with humans. But nature could be unpredictable. Best to be safe.

She immediately located a stalagmite in the darkness using echolocation, and she flung her arms around it to keep herself grounded as the earth continued to shake. She heard Kenny enter the cave as well, and called to him, "Over here." Then, she pressed her face to the cool stone and waited.Eventually, the earth stilled. Pebbles skittered across the floor of the cave as the final waves of the quake rocked through the mountain. Once Phoebe felt that it was safe to get up, she crept over to the front of the cave, and gazed out.The island was almost completely flooded. Massive chunks of debris floated down the grade on the water, including tree branches and crates."Are you all right?" she asked Kenny, attempting to slow her breathing.
