I turn to watch Tigerclan flee the battle scene. I let out a purr as Flertail runs off with them.

I sigh and pick up Fireclaw's body. I turn to Scarheart. "Take Darkpaw's body and leave it by hte thunderpath. If Tigerclan want it let htem have it if not it will get squashed by monsters." I mew around a mouthful of fur then carry Fireclaw's body to camp.

Scarheart~
I lift up the body of Darkpaw it was cold and motionless. I shudder as I carry it towards the thunderpath I lay it at hte side and leave it. He was a disgrace to the clan nad we did'nt want him.

Moonbeam padded up to the group of Stormclan cats, "everyone, go back to your camps. Surely this isn't the end. My thanks goes out to the other clans for your help, Featherstars too, forgive her. This was very hard for her." Moonbeam padded a bit farther away back towards the camp, "the true sense of loss won't be felt until tomorrow," he thought.

Moonbeam padded up to the two, "Sorry to interrupt, and I am especially sorry for what happened Featherstar," Moonbeam stopped talking for a little bit then started back. "Take whatever time you may need. We will all need some. You may have lost him, but don't forget, we," he gestured towards the rest o the clan, "We've all got your back, and were all here for you."

"Yes." I tell Lunarheart my voice strained. "He was my brother." I crouch at his head then turn to Moonbeam. "Darkpaw was killed in the battle." I mew to him then drop my voice to a whisper so only my deputy could hear. "I feel like I was the one who killed him. I grabbed him when he attacked Icepaw nad-" I break off as my vision grows blurry with regret. I am quiet from then on keeping vigil.

"Mhm." I mew but am soon lost in memories. Me nad Firekit playing as kits. His pride when I was made a warrior. His joy when I was deputy. His fear when I attacked him. His anger when I kicked Darkpaw out. His mad glare when I killed Darkpaw. The sadness in his gaze as I turned my back on him.

Moonbeam padded up beside Featherstar, "You can stay for the night you two. For now you are welcome to stay, and we will discuss the events later. I'll be watching you though, I hope you understand." Moonbeam look at the two remorseful traitors, he couldn't blame them really. Being torn between family and clan must have been rough. "For now I want to ask that you leave Featherstar for her vigil," he dropped his voice so she wouldnt hear, "She has lost so much, just give her time. And thanks for coming back," He said. He turned back to Featherstar, "Do you want to be alone? I don't mind staying with you."

Moonbeam laid his tail on Featherstar's shoulder, "Alright, honor his memory." Moonbeam padded back to the warriors den and laid down, unable to sleep. Tomorrow would bring renewed strength, but it would also reveal the largest scars.

I sit htere until the dawn light starts to shine. I shake my head and stand up as the elders and Starpelt take Fireclaw's body out. I strech and turn to my clan ht dawn patrol had waited for the body to leave before heading out. I sigh and turn to my den. I curl up nad sleep my gaze darkening as I hear hte rort of Thunderpath.

Brackenflower walked into the warrior's den. The shock of the fact that a cat died had stung her, even though she had barely knew him. 'What's happening?' She thought to herself as she licked a thorn out of the fur on her shoulder.
