Oh but anyways my plan is to-" Arith finally notices the lava closing in on the lake and sighs, "I guess I'll need to find a safe place first. You seem to know this place better than I do, do you remember any caves that would be away from the scorch-a-dragon-to-a-crisp lava flowing right towards us?"She swims a little farther out to the middle of the lake. "Is it just me of is the water getting a bit, um, warm. I don't mind it too much, but it makes me wonder how far under the water this stuff has traveled..."

@rushingwater I smiled at the Goldox and nodded, "So what should we do now...? I suggest maybe we find a place to stay and some food...." I mumbled, looking around.

@rushingwater I saw as the lava still got closer. I walked and sat next to him and watched as he shielded the lava, 'I'm glad I'm his friend now... He could have easily injured me.' I though.

@mistyfire99 Warning, long explanation ahead XD"Hmmm, I guess as long as we don't get burnt we'll be ok, if you can help me with that then you can leave keeping others away to me." Arith grins triumphantly for a second, then it wavers, "We'll need food of course, because once we're in that cave I plan on setting up a barrier. It'll last about 2 days and once it's up, even I can't go through it. I need help though, stuff can still get thrown in & that Goldox could easily warp it... I never trained for fighting against Telekinesis." Arith gasps for breath, worried that she might have said too much. She glances around, the lava was getting closer."So that's why I need help, I'll need extra claws around just in case... So, you still with me on this?"

@whitescalesDuskfall tried to take it all it. "Okay then..." She sighed. "I'll get some food, you make a barrier. Don't fail on this!" Duskfall watched as the lava came closer. "Now, let's move, before that stupid lava comes and burns us!"

@chihuahuagirl3377 @jemmie @chapus2009 @rushingwater@mistyfire99 Arith nods quickly, "Right then, I'll get ready. It's noon now so meet me before dusk at the cave or the barrier goes up without you." She yawns, "I can't stay awake forever ya know & I'd rather sleep where it's safe."She turns to leave, "And no mushrooms!" she yells behind her. She swims to a clear stretch of ground & runs all out in the direction of the cave, the barrier would be strong but at a terrible price.... Along the way she stumbles upon a woodchuck, she gives it no chance to escape. At a full bound she was faster then the poor thing would ever be, she snatches it up & cleanly breaks its neck between her jaws. She turns & sees the Goldox & Mummar sitting surrounded by lava, but otherwise safe. She shook her head "Unbelievable." she mutters to herself & runs to the cave.She stashes her kill in a dark corner & begins to meditate.

@rushingwater Unbounded:"Oh, I see." I said, nodding. "It's nice to meet someone that does not want to... hurt you." I sigh, thinking of when others used to laugh at me or run away because I was 'scary'. I looked at the Goldox again, being careful not to look straight into his eyes, since I did not want to mummify him, especially not now. I then hear a sound, like a voice, but I'm sure if there really was one, "Did you hear that?" I ask him.@whitescales @mistyfire99 @jemmie

@whitescalesDuskfall sat and watched the lake. It seemed awfully shallow, so there should be lots of fish. Splash! She caught one, this one should last some time. She turned and watched the lava. Not close to her yet, and she had her water amulet. Whew! But she still hated lava... flash! She spotted another fish. She immediatly caught it. This one was scrawny, but could still be a meal...

@rushingwater @chapus2009 @jemmie @mistyfire99 Arith found it hard to focus on meditating while lava was crawling its steady pace across the ground outside. She opened an eye a little bit, good the lava was far away from the cave... for now. "Maybe rocks would stop it.. no they'd just melt.. a trench? No," she mumbled, "it'd just fill with lava.." The more she thought of it, the better her alliance with Duskfall looked. If Duskfall could cool off any lava that rolled near, they'd be safe from almost anything...She squeezed her eyes shut again, "Ok, now I really have to focus." She found it easier to meditate knowing that she'd be safe in a little bit...

@sandstorm99 @rushingwater @chapus2009 @jemmie @whitescalesDuskfall heard a rumble. Then she noticed the flame. She shot a blast of water from her amulet. Whew, disaster gone! Then she concentrated on fishing, but the fishes were all retreating into the middle of the lake because of the lava, but she managed to get a tiny stupid one that was close enough for her to get. Just enough for a noon snack, she thought.

@sandstorm99 @rushingwater @chapus2009 @jemmie @whitescalesDuskfall stared at the water, then at the lava. "Guess there's no fish now," she muttered under her breath. She got up, and searched around. Hmm... what else is edible? She spotted two different things-some grey plum-like fruits hanging from a tree that was sorta like a maple, or a holly-like bush with magenta berries? She took a flipperful of both and then pulled all her fish and fruit to their cave. Wonder if Arith is done, she thought.

Ginger grinned, they were in for a surprise.***Back in the arena, a giant water sprinkled about, blinding the fighters. When it stopped, so did the lava. The suction pipe sucked the water out, and the new disaster begun.Above the now much prettier arena, clouds turned a yucky gray. Now it was freezing. Ponds turned into thin, fragile ice. Snow began to fall, and icicles formed. The time has come. For dark, coldness, everywhere. As the arena darkened with the dark clouds, Ginger sang 'Hot n Cold' happily.

@rushingwater "Oh, I see." I said. I then observe as snow falls from the skies and as the lava starts to harden. I then see the leaves from the trees fall down.

@sandstorm99 @rushingwater @chapus2009 @jemmie @whitescalesDuskfall lugged her stuff into the cave just as the arena freezes. She came from the Artic, so she was glad the ice wouldn't bother her. The only problem was, all the fish and berries were frozen, so you really couldn't hunt well...

Arith called in greeting to Duskfall, "Put your food in the corner with the woodchuck and I'll get started!"Arith was super energized, snow, she'd never seen it before but it was so pretty.. she cleared away the icicles with a sweep of her tail which got cut on the sharp edges in the process. She squeezed blood into her cupped hands and started smearing it across the bottom of the entrance, then the top. Nothing happened so far, but that was a good sign. She grinned, "Alright, stand back and watch, Duskfall."Sparks began to jump from one streak to the other, making Arith recall the bars on a jail cell. She slowly reached out to touch the bars of lightning and called all the electricity from deep inside her to her finger tips. When her hands touched the bars the whole entrance glowed with a brilliant white light sparks flew all around her bouncing off then back to the bars.Sweating she put the last of her strength into jerking her hands back from the completed barrier. The last thing she saw was the white wall of lightning that blocked the entrance to the cave.

@sandstorm99 @rushingwater @chapus2009 @jemmie @whitescalesDuskfall watched as Arith performed some sort of barrier. "Wow," she breathed, as sparks shot around. Then Arith collapsed. Duskfall immediatly got some ice and used it as a compress, and she tried to get a fish into Arith's mouth.

"Thanks," She gasps as she rolls over and crouches on her hind legs, they were wobbly but better than her leaden front claws. She makes her way to the back of the cave and rips into another fish, "Aren't ya gonna eat?" she says through a mouthful.

"I've been meaning to ask, do you only eat fish? I mean, I caught a woodchuck on the way here that we could eat too, but do you even eat red meat?"

Way too salty for me, now the liver, that's the best part of a woodchuck, very juicy." She grins an exaggerated fang toothed grin.She glances outside. Night was falling fast, probably because of all of the storm clouds. "Ya know, I saw that Goldox down there surrounded by lava earlier. He was keeping it all away with his telekinetic powers but, the weird thing is he was also shielding this Mummar out there." She walks over to the entrance to sit and examine her barrier. "I did a good job with this one, better than when I was in training.. Hey Duskfall, what's happening around here?"
