@ems @mistyfire99 @chapus2009 @whitescales --Ginger glared at the creature whom everyone seemed to call Duskfall. Slapping? Like she didn't know how to fight! She'd been trained by professionals before. Smirking slightly, she decided blizzards were enough. She typed a word, and it registered. Drought.Perfecto! The blazing son was now torching above the arena, ready to burn any fliers getting too close.

@jemmie@mistyfire99@chapus2009@whitescales@rushingwater--Songbird let out a cry of pain as the sun suddenly blazed in the skies, burning her. "No!" She groaned, retreating to the shadows as the heat rose. "Arg..." She couldn't survive in this type of climate! /Who are you kidding? You were trained to survive../ Songbird thought, mustering the courage to step out of the shadows. "And to survive, I must find shelter from the heat." She gasped to herself as the sunlight hit her skin, warming her.

"Aye!" Unbounded cried as the harsh sun burned her wrappings a bit. She hid under a tree in hopes to get away from it.
mistyfire99 • 26 February 2013 at 4:36 PM
@rushingwater @chapus2009 @jemmie @whitescales @emsDuskfall gaped as the ice melted in approximently 2 seconds before the hot sun rose. It felt like fire on her flippers after the frigid time.
ems • 26 February 2013 at 7:06 PM
@chapus2009@mistyfire99@jemmieCan't ping everyone, on a phone. ><--Songbird looked around. From the edge of the woods, she saw a Mummar trying to hide, along with a Guinstar and a few other creatures. Her berries forgotten, Songbird tried to skirt the group as much as possible, not aiming for combat at the moment. Doing her best to stay out of the sun, the Aerlo began to walk quietyly along, staying just in the treeline and treading lightly to keep from making sound. The sun continued to make her sweat, the pain quite awful. Songbird could even feel her temperature slowly rise.

Sorry I haven't posted guys, I just spent the past few days helping my cousin move to another house & I'm soooo tired ☹️ I'll get to posting now@ems @mistyfire99 @chapus2009 @jemmie @rushingwaterArith lifted her head as the sun rose over the tree tops. She had been day dreaming about the days when she still had a human, but right now is more important than the past and she knew it. She walked to the back of the cave, already hungry again. Something was happening. She was at half power and that was good but not enough. "Someone's watching us closer than I thought," she giggled a bit as she spoke to the ceiling, "It must be fun, watching us struggle and shred each other just for your.. Entertainment." She tried to grin, it turned into a snarl. "Oh yesss, so much fun, Human. We're having so much fun, we want to share it with YOU, when we find you it'll be twice as fun." She laughed as she tore into the dead animal in front of her, eat while you can, you never know when you will eat next. That's the law of her pack, the law of the wild and this is as wild as it gets.
mistyfire99 • 26 February 2013 at 8:15 PM
@rushingwater @chapus2009 @jemmie @whitescales @emsDuskfalll glanced at Arith, and suddenly felt angry, too. "What is the point of this," she snarled out at the sun, "to make us fight to the death and unnaturaly change the weather. You don't get money, food, happiness, entertainment. So what is the point of this, you evil human!" Than she sniffed and ate a fish.
jemmie • 26 February 2013 at 8:24 PM
@mistyfire99 @whitescales @ems @chapus2009 Ginger wanted to say the truth of these battles. But she couldn't. She couldn't let down her father."You'll see," was all she said.Everyone hated her. Or at least half the world. She remembered her friends. The way they eyed the jewelry. They didn't like her for herself. They liked her for her money. Pain surged through her as if she was electrocuted. But that pain wasnt from a knife. It was from being broken inside.

@ems @jemmie @mistyfire99 @chapus2009 @rushingwaterArith snapped a bone in two and lapped at the marrow. Not bad, a nice metallic taste to it. Metal. Like an iron collar. She violently lashed her tail as her humans face swam in her minds eye. All humans were traitors, all of them and this one, she thought as she cracked open a fourth bone, was just like him.
ems • 26 February 2013 at 8:56 PM
@mistyfire99@whitescales@jemmie@chapus2009@rushingwater--Songbird listened to the others shout, wanting to know the point of this. Songbird wanted to know too, but... There was really no good reason for it. Sure, she didn't want to hurt anyone, but that's why she was here... Right? /Stop acting like a trained dog, you fool! This is exactly what they want; for you to fight them. Well, you aren't giving it to them, are you?/ She thought rebelliously. Yet she still feared the others. Anger seemed to be growing, sprouting from the little seed planted by whoever controlled the arena. She curiously, but wearily, watched the group from a distance, unable to muster the courage to approach them.

Unbounded sighed and looked up at the sun. She then walked out and managed to make some dress with leaves and roots. She then looked at Arith and Duskfall, "I really don't know what to do..." she sighed, looking at the lake a few meters from them, "And why are you angry at this 'human'? There is no reason to hate others." she said, her eyes showing sadness and confusion.@ems @whitescales @jemmie @mistyfire99
mistyfire99 • 27 February 2013 at 4:22 PM
@rushingwater @chapus2009 @jemmie @whitescales @emsDuskfall cocked her head. "I guess," she mumbled and then she paused, "You know we're supposed to be fighting?" She realized this, because a scar on her flipper just opened and a tiny bit of blood seeped out.
jemmie • 27 February 2013 at 4:30 PM
@mistyfire99 @chapus2009 @ems @whitescales --Ginger glowered. Didn't they know she was forced to do this by her father? At first it sounded fun, but now it was just...she didn't know how to explain it. She didn't know how to explain anything that was happening. One minute she's as cunning as ever, and the next, she's completely upset.
mistyfire99 • 27 February 2013 at 4:34 PM
@rushingwater @chapus2009 @jemmie @whitescales @emsDuskfall sighed and collected some supplies. She got the last fish, and some of the mystery fruit and mystery berries. Then she made sure her amulet was on. Afterwards, she found a coconut, rotten and gross. But she split it in half and fetched some boiling water. She was preparing to find the food and supplies, since she wasn't prepared to sit and chat with her fellow arena-mates.

@jemmie @mistyfire99 @chapus2009 @ems @rushingwaterArith looked up from her crunching to see that the barrier had faded while she was occupied. "You may not like it but I have plenty of reasons to hate humans, it's my choice." She raised her head high and glared at all of the creatures in the area. "If you got a problem with it then take it up with my claws. They're more than willing to explain for me," she growled.
mistyfire99 • 27 February 2013 at 6:30 PM
@rushingwater @chapus2009 @jemmie @whitescales @emsDuskfall glanced at Arith, and sat back down. "WHy don't you explain, since we have a long time to go. I'm sure your claws don't need to explain."

@chapus2009 @mistyfire99 @jemmie @ems Arith snorts, "You have a human Dusk, so tell me; if your human was going to sell you what would you do?" She paused, "I escaped and ran into the woods, found friends a family and felt like I belonged somewhere for the first time in my life. He ruined it. He led the hunting party that tracked me back to my new pack. He killed so many of them, they were just trying to protect me." Wrapped in the memory Arith snarls as she feels the iron collar strangle her all over again. She sees Lawless bleeding on the ground, Dafodill tears the crossbow that crippled her mate away from a hunters hands. A pup wails and falls to the ground too slow to make its way to the safety of the den, the one who was her human laughs. Arith's skin tingles and burns as she watches blood pool around the fallen pup, Falamos her newly hatched brother. Arith smells burnt flesh on the opposite end of the chain. Electricity makes its way up to him from her end of the chain, his eyes roll back and he falls.Arith shakes herself away from the rest of the memory. It would do her no good here. She turns to look at the Guinstar & Mummar. "I didn't mean to snap at either of you." She squeezes her eyes shut, "But if you were me, I think you'd hate them too..."

@whitescales @mistyfire99 Unbounded's eyes were filled with sadness, "Oh... I'm so sorry." she said. "I never really knew my real family. I was raised by a family of Elges. They said they had just found me there... on the ground. They did mention blood around." she sighed, looking at the ground, "But they never got to know what happened. They took me in as quick as possible. So I grew in a life in the woods, surrounded with all types of birds. So that is why I can speak to some birds." she said, smiling.
mistyfire99 • 1 March 2013 at 4:10 PM
@rushingwater @chapus2009 @jemmie @whitescales @emsDuskfall sighed. "I guess my history is really good compared to you guys. I was found on a hill by my human, who was really nice. Then another human stole me and forced me to train for this arena-thing." She winced, remenbering the hard work and fierce punishment. "But it was pretty good compared to yours, Arith."
jemmie • 1 March 2013 at 4:18 PM
@whitescales @mistyfire99 @chapus2009 Ginger watched closely as the creatures insulted her species. Didn't they understand that humans had troubles too? Her grandpa had died when a thief murdered him. She herself, lived with her father's strict orders. She never got to play. Not really. Her friends came over occasionally, but they played with her stuff, not her. Then, the next day, she would go back to hard training, language lessons, even skydiving training. She had never believed it, but it was no clear that it was true. Being rich does not always make your life the best.

@chapus2009 @mistyfire99 @jemmie Arith sighed, "I wouldn't call my life any worse than yours, Dusk. After all I'm rid of him now and being abducted is pretty bad too.." She looked out of the cave mouth at Unbounded and smiled a bit, "We have something in common then, I was hatched in a human home so my lineage is a mystery to me too. It's funny how other creatures took care of us so easily." She furrowed her brows as she turned to face Duskfall, "Wait, you say you were kidnapped specifically for this arena? Did you ever overhear anything while training like how many creatures were competing or if people were placing bets on winners? This whole thing may be a lot more organized than I thought..."

@whitescales@chapus2009@mistyfire99@jemmie Why you no ping meh? D:~Songbird listned to the sap stories for but a moment, when she remembered her predicament. /Oh dear. @ems @jemmie @mistyfire99 @chapus2009 Arith heard loud crashing past the cave entrance. It sounded like it was going into the woods. "Great, now what?"Hours must have passed since she last checked the barriers energy levels. It was fading quickly, they had maybe 30 minutes left until it dissipated completely.

@chapus2009@whitescales@jemmie@mistyfire99~Songbird saw a cave, and a voice emmited from it, a clear warning for her to stay away... But she needed a cave. "Great, now what?" The voice had muttered, and Songbird peered into the cave, skittering away at the sight of a Nogar. /Whoopsies.../ She nearly cringed as she his behind a tree. /Calm down, Songbird. The Nogar might've not seen you.../

@chapus2009 @ems @whitescales @mistyfire99 --This was it."Do you even KNOW the meaning of these battles?"Her voice rang clear through the entire arena."If you don't, well, don't blame us!"And that was the end. No more to be said, she typed in another word out of making herself angry to the extent.Poison.The whole arena seemed to change. It was pretty as ever. But never did they know, that the flowers were poisonous, along with almost everything else.
mistyfire99 • 2 March 2013 at 5:31 PM
@rushingwater @chapus2009 @jemmie @whitescales @emsDuskfall watched as everyone talked, when a voice rang out. After the message, Duskfall flinched, "The voice replied to our conversation!" she realized. "They must have cameras everywhere!" She sighed, then gasped as bright flowers and leaves popped up around the arena, the sun dimming to normalness.

@mistyfire99 @jemmie @chapus2009 "Well, maybe we'd know if someone TOLD us!!!" Arith screamed at the ceiling fuming. Another overbearing human after her, great, exactly what Arith wanted out of life... "I'm outta here," she grumbled. @emsShe walked out of the cave, the air smelled sweeter than usual and so many beautiful flowers had popped up out of nowhere. She was about to smell one when she saw something move behind a tree. She froze then crouched low and circled around silently. Whatever it was ducked behind a tree just ahead of her. She crouched lower and charged towards the thing behind the tree ramming her head into its gut. She walked to where it fell and pinned it by putting a hind claw over the creatures throat. "Give me a reason not to cut you open where you lay, spy."
