Earth Day Creature Idea ~ The Pollumin + Earth Day Fundraiser

Hey everyone! Here's my new creature idea for Earth Day 2014. It's called the Pollumin. The Pollumin is a flamingo that with each stage, it gets darker and sadder, and the environment gets more polluted. This creature idea shows real life concepts, in what happens to animals everyday due to pollution and lack of respect for their environment. The art was commissioned and drawn by @cedarcliffe (Thanks Cedar!).

Creature Name: Pollumin (POLLution + flaMINgo)
Pronounced: Po-loo-min

Creature For: Earth Day/April

Description: The Pollumin is a very distinct and unique specie of Flamingos, a one of it's kind. But due to recent damage to their natural habitats, Pollumins have been put in a horrible situation. Changes to their environment recently has caused Pollumins to undergo changes in their body to adapt to their environment. These changes include darker and dirtier feathers due to the smokier conditions, changes in functions of their lungs to help them allow to breathe in the polluted air, and a more emotional and depressing personality. Recent measures and acts in Ark have been established to help protect the Pollumins, who have been almost wiped off the face of the Arkian island due to one thing: pollution.

Earth Day 2014 Fundraiser ~ #SaveThePollumins

I was also thinking maybe Egg Cave could have a fundraiser and the Pollumin could be in the Cash Shop. Some of the proceeds could go to a Wildlife Preserve foundation or an Earth Day/Related Animal foundation to help save animals & their natural habitats.

The Pollumin would be perfect for this fundraiser! You can enjoy playing your favorite game, while raising money by purchasing a Pollumin!

I really, really, love this creature and your fundraiser suggestion. The idea is fantastic and the way you've incorporated the idea of waste into the design without it being too overpowering is amazing. I definitely think that Eggcave should look at this and, hopefully, make the creature as well!

I love the fundraising idea, but the Pollumin creeps me out a bit. ☹️ I'd freeze it in stage 1 though.

Btw, I thought the Pollumin also represented the oil spill problem. This is just too amazing for Ian to pass up.

I love the creature and the fundraiser idea. The Pollumin's design just shows how animals are suffering in the Earth today because of pollution. It just makes me want to cry. ☹️ This is too good of an idea to just pass up.

I was commissioned by @harrypotter123698 to realize the concept of the pollumin. The artwork is mine, but not the idea, and I've given permission for the work to be used however my commissioner wishes.
