@emilianagerson @featherstar_stormclan{Nightpaw}I noticed no recent scents of Waspclaw in camp, and couldn't see him anywhere, so I gave up. Chances were, I'd never find Hollowfire, but I had to try. It was really more for my sake than her's though; since it would frustrate me to no end to do nothing about it.Heartbeats later, I was racing through the forest, praying to Starclan that I would find a faint scent trail.

"I'll be scouting around the territory for rogue activity."{Madpath}I nodded at Blazestar's words, "Snowpaw would you like to go and check near the border with the forest and I'll search near the lake." I meowed, before exiting the den.

@emilianagerson @featherstar_stormclan((Just for reference, the bird I'm referring to that Nightpaw doesn't name specifically is the Indian Vulture: http://ibc.lynxeds.com/files/pictures/IMG_9799.JPGIn case you care at all. 😋)){Nightpaw}The gigantic bird flew past overhead again, and I scrambled as low to the ground as I could. Rushing air tugged at my fur as it flew past, and for some reason, I took off in the direction it headed. It appeared to be heading toward the forest border.

Then I heard something, I looked up to the sky to see a huge bird. /It's alright./ I thought to myself, /As long as I stick to the tree's, it wont see me./

@emilianagerson @featherstar_stormclanAs I neared the border, the bird seemed to fade out of existence.What in the name of Starclan...? I thought.I redoubled my pace, finally catching a whiff of Hollowfire's scent. Somehow, it wasn't reassuring.

Lol)){Nightpaw}I tripped when a lump of fur came into view a ways off, hitting the ground hard. It was that moment I had realized that despite my sinking feelings, I truly believed it was only paranoia and that I would find Hollowfire well as ever. I knew that the limp body ahead was hers, and I sat for a while, trying to catch my breath.I picked myself up, shook off my nerves, and tentatively continued walking. I wasn't sure I wanted to see what condition she was in. Maybe she wouldn't be dead after all. It was wishful. Her body ahead was very still, as far as I could see.Stars above, I thought, what is happening to my clan?

He killed her then ate deathberries.}{Madpath}I made my way around the lake, scenting the air for Hollowfire. I caught her scent mingled with blood, death, and of her brother. My pace quickened until I was practically sprinting after the trail.

@emilianagerson @featherstar_stormclan{Nightpaw}I found Hollowfire lying cold on the ground, but she wasn't the only cold body there; her brother was next to her. Presumably, he had viciously murdered his own sister, then put himself to rest with death berries. They weren't uncommon in this part of the forest. I could only imagine what it would have been like to be in Hollowfire's paws earlier today..."Starclan save us..." I whispered as I stood amidst the mess from Hollowfire's torn throat.

@featherstar_stormclan @poe {Lavenderpaw}Quickly, I moved my head out of the way, Crowpaw did get hold of it though. So I sung my head side from side then sharply up, tossing Crowpaw off.{Snowpaw}Finally, I found some scent that I could follow. I padded along toward it, noticing nosies near by, but off the scent trail, I went to the nosies. It was Lavenderpaw and Crowpaw training, Hawkpaw and Waspclaw sitting by them, watching. "Hey Lavenderpaw!" I called, "Hollowfire and Thornwhisper are missing, I found the scent trail, help me find them!" Lavenderpaw looked worried, "Thornwhisper?" She meowed, then chased after me as I ran through the scent trail. Finally, we got there, we I padded up I saw Hollowfire, throat ripped out, and Thornwhisper, laying still, blood on his paws, deathberries around his muzzel. I stood there, not even aware of Nightpaw, in shock.{Waspclaw}I growled. /I'll give Snowpaw I good scolding later./ I thought to myself, "Come on, seem's we now are part of the sreach party, by great Snowstar's command." I meowed at the apprentices, following were Lavnderpaw and Snowpaw went.Went I got to where they were, Snowpaw's feet look frozen to the ground, her eyes frozen in shock, so still that you could almost think she was dead, but her eyes were alive with light at the same time. Lavenderpaw was looking paniked, "Nightpaw! What happened?" She meowed in a paniked tone. I answered for Nightpaw, "It seems... Thornwhisper killed his sister.." I meowed. "No!" Lavenderpaw yowled, "I wont believe it, I cant believe it! Thornwhisper was loyal!" I nodded, agreeing with what Lavenderpaw said, "I dont believe it either. Thornwhisper was a fine cat, and would have made a fine leader some day. Whatever happened here, I well not believe he killed a cat, or his own sister!"

@emilianagerson @poe {Madpath}Catching up to the bodies, I watched as Waspclaw, Lavenderpaw and Snowpaw all grouped by the bodies, Nightpaw stood next to Hollowfire, his eyes distressed."I have a feeling that Thornwhisper had no control of what he was doing." I whispered, sliding up next to Nightpaw. "He was a caring cat, he never would hurt a hair on Hollowfire's pelt unless she was doing something wrong. We have to get them off rogue territory, soon."

He or she was supposed to keep it together. Mallow-water told me I was always too reactive, so today, I had to do better."We can discuss this later. Right now, we need to bring these cats back into clan territory." I spoke to Madpath, but looked at Waspclaw. That was kind of his call. "I think I'll head back and tell Mallow-water and Blazestar about what we've found. They should know sooner than later."I turned, ready to leave. They were capable of moving Hollowfire and her brother back without me.

@featherstar_stormclan @poe{Waspclaw} I nodded, noticing we were off WaveClan land. But it was not Viperfang's land we were on. "Madpath, Snowpaw, take Hollowfire back to camp, Hawkpaw, Crowpaw, and Lavenderpaw, take Thornwhisper back. I'll stay behind, there's something I need to do." I meowed, /I need to get to Viperfang and meet her now, I cant meet her at night, I well have to sit vigil./ But just as everyone was going to start heading off, I heard a growl of an old voice, /I thought I killed you!/{Fox}"What are you clan cats doing on my land?" I growled. "You have your part of the forest, and this is not it. Oh.. hello brother." I sneered at Waspclaw. I eyed the patrol, /maybe I could fight them and win, but I would have some nasty scracthes/ I thought to myself, unsheathing my claws but not attacking, yet.

@poe @emilianagerson {Madpath}I nodded before grabbing Hollowfire's scruff and dragging the dead she-cat back to camp. As I did so, a memory hit me like a boulder.*~*I was climbing down a slope, heading dangerously close to a ravine that led into the deepest part of the lake, and my gaze was fixed on the apprentice that had just fallen into this pit. My paws shook but I made it to the bottom, and wriggled under the cat so she was positioned safely on my shoulders, then I began the ascent again.Her body should have been battered and broken, but she has fine aside from a few bruises and scrapes. This shocked me but I didn't look any deeper into it, at least not at the moment.*~*I shook my head dropping Hollowfire's scruff for a minute before glancing around.I had strayed rather close to the ravine where I first rescued the cat. A chill rippled up my pelt but I shook it off, heading back to the camp Hollowfire's scruff once again pinned in my jaws.{Viperfang}I had kept an eye on Fox from the moment I awoke that day, and as he threatened Waspclaw I darted onto what he called "his land". But he didn't scent mark, only called it.I stood behind him, narrowing my eyes and glancing over at Waspclaw over Fox's head.

@featherstar_stormclan @poe{Lavnderpaw}Me and the other apprentice's were about to head off when another cat came out of the forest, snarling at us, calling Waspclaw his brother. Then I saw another cat, behind Waspclaw, but I saw not more as I ran off when I heard Waspclaw's sharp order, "Apprentice's, go back to camp now. I'll take Thornwhisper back later."As I was running, I asked Hawkpaw and Crowpaw, "What do you thinks going on?"{Waspclaw}Once the apprentices were away, I made sure not to look at Viperfang, to not give her away to Fox. "Im no brother of yours." I meowed. "We are just taking dead warriors back to camp. We shall be off 'your land' before you can say 'leave'."{Fox}I sneered, "Oh, I dont think its just that easy." I toke one step foward, me and Waspclaws face less the a mice whisker away, I perpared to attack.

@emilianagerson @poe I have to write so many POV's this post.{Mallow-water}As Nightpaw tore into the medicine den calling for me I jerked out of the herb storage where I had been sorting."Nightpaw!" I exclaimed. "What's wrong?"{Hawkpaw}"What does it look like? Waspclaw's going to be attacked by that rogue, and probably by that she-cat too." I meowed. "We have to tell Blazestar."{Crowpaw}I sighed at Hawkpaw's words. /Doesn't that cat think for even a second?\ I thought. "If the she-cat wanted to attack Waspclaw she would have done so by now. And she certainly wouldn't have showed up in plain sight, she would have slunk up."{Viperfang}I silently slid my claws out and braced myself to pounce the second Fox laid a claw on Waspclaw's pelt. I noticed Waspclaw avoiding me but understood he knew I was there.

"That red-pelted cat did not look friendly, and he must have brought the she-cat along for help. Who know's if he has more cats to out-number Waspclaw, we HAVE to warn Blazestar that his deputy could be in real danger." I meowed as we walked in the camp, "Come on guys." I meowed, heading for Blazestar's den.{Fox}I sneered in Waspclaws face, then swift as a owl, I raked my claws across his cheek and bit into his ear.{Waspclaw}My cheek stinging like fire, and the tip of my ear almost gone, I launched at Fox with a yowl of fury, claws out.

@poe @emilianagerson I've made a few rogues to serve as the ones causing the problems at the other border. Names are Falcon, Lynx, and Wolf, posted them at sign-up thread.{Mallow-water}"Alright, go tell Blazestar he went out on border patrol not long after you left." I meowed. "I'll stay here and get the clan ready for mourning of the two."{Crowpaw}I nodded and pushed my pace but stopped as I saw Blazestar's den empty.{Viperfang}In the second it took for Fox to attack Waspclaw, I had flung myself onto the red coated tom. Landing on his back as Waspclaw lashed out as well.{Graypelt}I watched as a group of mentor-less apprentices made their way into camp only to stop at Blazestar's empty den."He went out patrolling, said something about rogue activity on the borders recently." I called to the cats as I sat up from my position of laying down near the elder's den."You can still catch up to him if you leave now, he hadn't left that long ago."{Madpath}I pulled Hollowfire into the camp before laying her in the clearing.

@featherstar_stormclan @poe{Fox}I yowled out in suprise as another cat landed on my back, while Waspclaw clawed at my side, cutting deep. With a yowl of fury I tried to shake the other cat off but it was no use, /I cant fight Waspclaw with another cat stuck to my back like a tick!/ I thought, paniking. My moves were slow and had much less power, "Get off you worthless flea-ridden fox-dung eatting cat!" I growled, trying to make them get off my back and face me.{Waspclaw}This was to easy. With Viperfang on Fox's back, he could hardley fight back. "Its time you really die, kit murderer!" When I started the sentance, it was a meowed, but it ended in a yowl of fury, as I remembered Moth, and how he told me he had killed her, fed her death-berries. I shook with rage, and all I could think of right now was of Fox's blood spilling out forever before his own eyes before they would shut forever. Fox looked up at me, snarling and sneered, "And who's fault is it that she died? Eh Waspclaw? Who forgot to teach her about the red berries, who wanted to keep all the herb knowledge to them self? Its YOUR fault!" Fox started to laugh as if he had turned mad, but I could see in his eyes he was scared, "Your fault, your fault, Your fau-" Swift as I could, I reached my claws in his mouth as he spoke, and tore away his tongue.{Lavenderpaw}I turned to Crowpaw and Hawkpaw, "Lets go then" I meowed,leading the way.

At this rate, I was going to be the most fit medicine cat we've ever had.Blazestar's scent still lingered behind him, and it was easy to follow. It didn't take long for his scent to become fresh, so I called out to him, starting to feel the effects of all my running."Blazestar?" I meowed.

Hawkpaw stayed behind saying something about helping Madpath.{Blazestar}I turned as I heard Nightpaw's voice."What's wrong?" I asked, my blood freezing. He would only have showed up if something was very wrong.

It's started rolling, and we can't let it run that course." I began, then calmly relayed the same information about Hollowfire I had told my mentor, "and we are so dead if we don't do something."I had seriously improved my ability to stay calm today. This was a good start to being a better medicine cat. I really had better things to think about, and yet that's what came to mind. We're so dead.

@featherstar_stormclan @poe{Fox}"My tongue! My tongue!" I screeched, but all it came out as were some choking and gasping sounds, no way to make out what I saying, and blood spilling out of my mouth. Then I noticed the she-cat had gotten off my back, I narrowed my eyes at her, and then they were filled with sand.{Waspclaw}"Get your dirty eyes off her, you will not claw her today." I hissed, blinding Fox with a bit of dirt on the ground. I turned to Viperfang, "Thanks for helping out. If you were no here, I could have died." I purred, but the purr faded, "But Fox is right.. if I had not forgotten to tell her about the red berries, she would be in WaveClan camp right now, maybe a warrior, ,maybe a medicince cat, maybe a queen. But now she's dead, because I never thought of telling her about death-berries."

@featherstar_stormclan @poe{Waspclaw}"Yea, your right. Most likely she would never be a clan cat, she never liked eating fresh-kill, because it was 'life' as she said. But even if she became a kitty-pet, I would at least know shes alive and safe. But I cant change the past, all I can do is hope she's safe in StarClan, waiting for me and Redleaf. Thanks Viperfang." I meowed, purring at the end, then so gasping sounds made me turn my head back to Fox, "And what are we going to do with him?" I meowed.{Lavenderpaw}Finally, me and the guys got to Blazestar, "Blazestar!" I meowed loudly, "Two rouges came up to our patrol, they dont look nice, Waspclaw sent us away, like he's going to fight both on his own! The deputy could be in danger!"

We'd be worse than him if we left him like this, the only way he can eat is if the foods already mush. With no tongue to help him chew he's pretty much going to die here." I meowed. "I can take him to my camp or you can take him to WaveClan with you." I meowed.{Blazestar}I nodded. "I'll go immediately." I meowed, before bounding off towards the border Nightpaw had described, the one where he had found Hollowfire and Thornwhisper.

I snarled, but it came out, but it just came out as choking noises. /I only reason i'm not tearing both of you to bits if this dirt in my eyes!/ I thought to myself.{Waspclaw}"Well, I dont know, he can still fight. He has his eyes and claws, that would him dangerous to bring in camp, your or mine." I meowed.

@emilianagerson @poe {Viperfang}I shook my head. "We can't leave him here though. He'll just terrorize the border." I meowed. "I think taking him to WaveClan is the smartest choice, at least there they'll be able to help him with his tongue being missing."
