{Thornpaw}"Well,I'll only use that against a smaller cat like Shallow/Hollowpaw. If I run into a larger cat, I'll probably use my sister's technique." I took a bite out of the fish.{Hawkpelt}The warm air hit my fur as I padded outside. I heard Thornpaw was having a little trouble with training, so I decided to train with him. I stalked into the apprentice's den and saw him sharing a fish with Lavenderpaw. "C'mon Thornpaw! We're going to train. He grumbled and got up, mumbling, "See you later..." to Lavenderpaw. We padded out into a clearing full of soft, green grass. "Okay, we need to work on your attacks. Imagine that I'm a medium-sized cat, coming at you. What do you do?" He thought for a moment. {Lavenderpaw} /Mouse dung!/ I thought, lashing my tail, /Hawkpelt took him away so fast I din't even get to ask if I could join them!/ Then and idea ran through my head that brigthed me up. /what if he uses one of the fighting moves I told him about?/ Eating the last bite of my fish, I padded out of camp and followed Thronpaw's scent to where he and Hawkpelt where training, without even thinking why I cared so much about Thornpaw using the battle moves I told him about, I snuck down wind of Hawkpelt, praying that if Thornpaw somehow smelled my sent he would not give me away. I got low to the ground a hid myself as I watched Thornpaw train.@featherstar_stromclan@starling

{Thornpaw}I could scent Lavenderpaw's scent. She was getting careless and was upwind. I knew she was expecting me to use one of her moves, but I wasn't sure what to do. "Wait, would thins cat be bigger, or smaller?" I questioned, just to be sure. "Good question, Thornpaw. Let's say I'm smaller." Hawkpelt smiled. "Wait," I asked. "If you were to do a sneak attack like rushing under my belly, how would you fit?" I pondered. 'Another good question my tiny friend." There was a smirk on his face and a mischievous gleam in his eyes. "Why don't you ask your friend, Lavenderpaw?"@starling @featherstar_stormclan @emilianagerson

I really loved liontooth! @Starling{Waspclaw}I was disappointed to hear I was not being made deputy, but I was happy that Blazestar wanted to talk to just me about apprentices. "Which ones do you think could use some more training Blazestar?" I meowed.{Lavenderpaw}I saw Hawkpelt smirk, "Why don't you ask your friend, Lavenderpaw?" I froze, had he sented me? I knew Thornpaw could smell me but I tried my best to stay downwind of Hawkpelt. I decided I will not come out untill he says that he knows i'm here. Just in case. I knew how much of a vain hope that was, I rolled my eyes at myself.

I meowed, "So, what kind of cat am I fighting? Thin, small,large,fat?" I meowed trying to sound bolder, but I was so embarrassed!

Thornpaw knew this would be tough. After all, Lavenderpaw had given HIM tips about fighting. She basically knows exactly what he knows. He began circling around Lavenderpaw, thinking of a good move to make. @starling @featherstar_stormclan {Waspclaw}When Blazestar snapped at me, I had to use all my will power no to hiss at him.I took in a breath, trying to calm myself, remembering what my sister told me about being calm,"Blazestar." I replied calmly, every last bit of me wanting to spit the words at him. "I know I spend a little extra time with Hollowpaw, buts she's so small and i'm one of our strongest warriors! I'm trying to help her, as for Thornpaw, I don't know what your talking about, I spend the same time with him I do with all the other apprentices, maybe even less time because he's one of our strongest apprentices." I was about to add that there where other warriors to train apprentices, but then I had a thought that made me want to hiss at Blazestar less. /He knows i'm the strongest warrior and wants me to pass on all my greatness to them!/ I puffed out my chest proudly. "I take Nightpaw and Snowpaw out training if you like." I meowed.{Lavenderpaw}While Thornpaw was circling me, I made the frist move, feeling excited about training for once. I leaped onto Thornpaw's back tumbling him over and I got a swipe on his shoulder. Then I stepped off his back in case he tried to get up fast a fling me across the clearing. I got low to the ground, ready to pounce on him when he got up.

{Thornpaw}I lay on my belly, knowing she would make a move. I noticed that her legs were ready for a forward pounce. I studied her, thinking of a move. I jumped up and back. She pounced forward but hit dirt instead. I pounced on her, rolling on her back while *pretend* raking my claws against her back and nipping her ear.@emilianagerson @featherstar_stormclan{Silvertail} I crouched down as leaves rustled in front of me. I could smell mouse. I waited for it to come closer, and POUNCE! Under my paws was a scrabbling mouse, trying to escape the claws it knew I had. With one swipe of my claws, the mouse was dead. I padded to the river and saw a gleaming fish leap out of the water. It was HUGE! I knew I couldn't let it go. It was too big. I leaped and caught it in my jaws as I dove into the rushing water. I yelped as the cold water touched my pelt. /Where is Eaglefeather when you need him? he was hunting with me! Grr!/

@starling @featherstar_stormclan{Lavenderpaw}While Thornpaw was on my back, I burst up in a sudden flash, tossing Thornpaw off my back and onto the ground, laying on his back. I leaped at him, pinning him down by his shoulders, and *pretend* ranking my hind claws on his belly.

{Thornpaw}I grinned. I sucked in my belly as she tried to rake her claws on me and rolled to my side. She tumbled under my weight and I pretend used my claws to grip her as I flipped. She tumbled under my weight and i nipped her ear. Before she could make a move, I dropped on her chest, leaving her heaving for each breath under my weight.@emilianagerson @featherstar_stormclan{Eaglefeather}I heard splashing and yelps coming from the river. /How dumb is this cat?!/ I leaned over and plucked her from the log her claws were dug into. I saw the fish in her mouth and stifled a gasp. The fish was large and would feed maybe 3 cats. "Great catch," I murmured, embarrassed that I'd have said it. "what was that?" Silvertail asked, purring in amusement.

@featherstar_stormclan @starling{Lavenderpaw}I struggled under Thornpaw's weight, but them I remembered that fighting was not always about strongness, but brains."Whoa!" I gasped,looking up in the sky. "Whats that?" When Thornpaw looked to see what I was looking at, I burst up again and swiped at his ear and cheeks. I did not have the strength it took to hold he down, so I would have to try to tire him out, when he spun around to swipe and me, I leaped over his back on the other side of him.

{Thornpaw}When Lavenderpaw was on my back, I reached over and dug my claws *carefully* into her pelt and dragged her down. I jumped on her and weighed her down, pretending to bite her neck.{Hawkpelt}"That's enough. That was a very good battle. Lavenderpaw, using her smarts, and Thornpaw usin balance of power and tactics. {Silvertail}We padded back and I dropped my large fish and mouse on the fresh-kill pile. Eaglefeather dropped 2 voles and a fish down, looking tired and hungry. "Go on," I said to him. "Eat!"{Eaglefeather}I dropped my catch down on the pile. I was starving and tired. Silvertail noticed and said, "Go on, eat." I smiled gratefully and picked up a vole as Thornpaw and Hawkpelt and Lavenderpaw padded into camp. "Hey, Hawkpelt, wanna share this?" He looked weary. 'Hmm? Oh, yeah. @starling @featherstar_stormclan{Lavenderpaw}While we where walking back to camp, I thought about what would have been my next move in the battle, also, asking myself why I cared so much about warrior training. /I most likely would have let Thornpaw win./ I thoguht /After all, he already go beaten by his sister.I would not want to make him upset all over again./ Then another thought came to mind. /Why did I even follow Thornpaw out there? Why did I care if he used the battle advie I had been giving him or not?/ When we got to camp, I was not very hungry because I had just ate a fish with Thornpaw, so I went to apprentices den and feel asleep in my nest.{Waspclaw}I shrugged "I don't know." I had to keep myself from saying ,'There are other mentors' knowing that as the best warrior, I have to train the apprentices as much as if I where the only cat that could.

{Hawkpelt}I could sense unease in Lavenderpaw as she padded to the apprentice's den. I wondered what was wrong. Eaglefeather offered me fish and there was no way I could refuse. I was STARVING!!!! We sat down in the warrior's den, eating. "So," I asked. "How was hunting." Eaglefeather looked up. "Well, Silvertail fell in the river but got this really big fish and I got a good amount of vole and fish." I nodded. "Oh, that's nice."{Silvertail}I stretched but I wasn't tired. I decided to train an apprentice. I padded towards the apprentice den. "Snowpaw. Do you want to train?"@featherstar_stormclan @emilianagerson

I'll PM you about this update.{Blazestar}"It doesn't matter," I hissed. "I think I'm starting to regret going back on Crimsonstar's idea of letting one cat train an apprentice." I muttered to myself ignoring Waspclaw and Deathmartyr.{Madpaw}I looked up with a small finch in my jaws as pawsteps bounded towards me.I dropped the bird as what looked like a large ragged dog broke from the bracken and collided with me.

What kind of leader pulls warriors aside and hisses at them for training a little extra with the weakest apprentice? I know i'm going to be deputy one day but still, if I where leader I would be fair to all my warriors, the only one I would expect better things from is my deputy! Even if there was a warrior fit to be deputy I would treat them fair like every other warrior until they were deputy." I'm going to take Snowpaw out training." I snorted, and with out giving Blazestar the chance to answer I stormed away to Snowpaw, "Lets go, battle training." I meowed. Anger burning inside me I thought to myself, / I'll show Blazestar what a great mentor I can be! By the time me and Snowpaw come back, she will know all the best battle moves!/{Snowpaw}I followed Waspclaw to the training clearing. "Ok." meowed Waspclaw. "Lets see what you can do.."Without anymore warring, Waspclaw leaped onto me and tryed to knock me down. I stood up on two legs and so when he landed on me I pushed him away with a swipe, but as Waspclaw was flung to the side of me he ran his paw along from my eye to where my tail starts, then he fell to the ground. "If that had been a real battle, you would have just lost an eye." Waspclaw meowed. "What you should have done was charge at me again when im at your side., ok, lets try that again."

@emilianagerson @satoshi818 @starling{Blazestar}I glared after Waspclaw. /Stupid cat!\ I thought digging my claws into the ground by me. "Deathmartyr, go get Waspclaw and the other cats on patrol for me. I have a few things to announce." I ordered my left eye twitching and my tail twitching in rapid succession.{Madpaw}I let out a screech as hte thing seemed to move straight into me, without leaving hte other side. I collapsed onto the ground shaking feeling waves of chills burning through my body. I tried to stand up but hit the ground yet again this time retching.The last thing I saw before blacking out was the concerned look on Deathmartyr's face as the warrior ran through the bracken.

{Waspclaw}"Wait!" I hissed as I heard a screech, and a bark."Dog!" I hissed. "That sound like Madpaw!" Mewed Snowpaw, we have to help her! The apprentice tried to charge off to Madpaw but I held her back. "Don't be a mouse-brain!" I hissed, "I know you just want to help, but your only 7 moons! What you can do now to help your clan is hide and stay alive!"Snowpaw let out a hiss, but nodded her head, "Ok Waspclaw." she meowed as she jumped under a bush to hide.I raced off to help Madpaw.{Snowpaw}I hissed in anger. / I may not be able to beat the dog myself, but other warriors are helping! I'm not going to sit here like prey! If the dog found me now i'd be crow-food!/ I charged out of the bush to where I heard Madpaw. /Sorry Waspclaw, I know you think it's best that I hide, but I have to help!/ When I got there I saw Deathmarty and Waspclaw. I jumped up at the dog and raked my claws down its muzzel, then using the move Waspclaw used I scared the dogs eye. "Snowpaw, you mouse-brain! Go hide!" I heard Waspclaw hiss, but I kept clawing at the dog.@featherstar_stormclan @starling

{Silvertail}As I looked in the den, no one was there. I Heard screeches coming from the forest. I heard barks. My eyes widened in fear. I dashed in the warriors den. "Hawkpelt! Eaglefeather! Help!" They snapped awake and followed me into the forest. i saw Snowpaw, clawing at a dog as Waspclaw tried to stop her. I slid under the dog as Snowpaw jumped, clawing its belly. I sunk my teeth into its hind legs and it yowled in pain. Eaglefeather and Hawkpelt were clawing at it. "Now, Snowpaw! Bite its neck!"@featherstar_stormclan @emilianagerson

@emilianagerson @satoshi818 There was no dog, it was a wolf and it fused with Madpaw. Thus saying through her but not out the other side. They're just attacking air now...{Blazestar}I flicked my tail irritably my claws burrowing into the sand beside me. I had heard the barks and screeches but no one had come back with news about what had happened, it had probally left.

{Snowpaw}"Now Snowpaw! Bite it's neck!" I heard someone yowl and I saw my sister Lavenderpaw show up. I leaped at the dog, ready to sink my teeth into its neck,but only...there was no dog there! I landed on the ground with a huff. "Where did the dog go?" I mewed. "It's gone!" Gasped Lavenderpaw. "Where's Blazestar?" Yowled Waspclaw. "The coward should have helped us!"{Mossmoth}I heard the barks off a dog and Madpaw's scream, Littlefrost and Redleaf had stayed back to protect the camp. I knew I could still give a dog a scar if it came, I knew me,Littlefrost, and Redleaf could protect the camp just fine. /So why is Blazestar not helping?/ "Blazestar!" I hissed to the leader. "Don't be a coward! Go help your warriors!" Just as he was about to answer me I heard Snowpaws mew, and then Lavenderpaw's. "Guess you lucked out this time, Blazestar." WaterheartI was going to get fish while Darkclaw was watching Lionkit. I went to the river and put my paws in the cold water waiting for a fish to swim through. Sure enough a couple seconds later a fish started to swim through. When I saw it I got my claws out killing the fish and pulling it out of the water. I found out that it was a good size fish enough to feed 1 or 2 cats and I looked for the pile and put it in after I washed it and my claws and paws. Then I went back to check on Lionkit.DarkclawWhen I was keeping watch over Lionkit I was telling her different techniques for hunting prey. She said that she wanted to be a medicine cat so I told her that wasn't going to change the fact that she needed to know these skills because she still needed to be able to defend herself so she went on with the training till Waterheart got back and I would go hunting myself.LionkitI didn't think I needed these skills but I stayed and listened just in case I did. When Mom came back from hunting she told me that I should go to the medicine cat if I wanted to be a medicine cat. Since I was tired I started to fall asleep. While I was asleep I thought about what Dad taught me and what Man said about being a medicine cat.

I blinked my eyes slowly taking in what she had just said. "I guess my hearing isn't what it was. I knew of no dog." I snapped at Mossmouth.{Deathmartyr}I drug Madpaw back into the camp pulling her past the leader and elder arguing and into the medicine den. Mallowpaw was already around the corner and examining the apprentice by the time I had turned around from her.{Shadowpaw}"What happened?" I asked, walking into camp and noticing the arguing cats. "The dog, it wasn't a dog. It was a wolf." I called out to Snowpaw and Lavenderpaw as the two cats entered camp.

I hissed at Blazestar. "Even if you did not hear the bark you would have hear the scream of Madpaw and the yowl of your warriors! I'm the one here who should have faded hearing! @emilianagerson Blargh! I thought I put moth, not mouth, I'm so sorry. My mind sometimes adds letters to words without my knowing. And @naturegirl1999 's cats are not mates, at least in her forms she put them as siblings. @starling{Blazestar}I turned towards Mossmoth my eyes narrowing. "It could have been a hunting accident, she could have been bitten by a squirrel." I snapped.{Shadowpaw}"Actually, I have not." I meowed, sighing with relief on the inside that Lanenderpaw hadn't flipped out over seeing me.
