A special glow begins to envelope this egg. It appears to be hatching...

You wait a bit longer for the egg to hatch. It opens. Much to your surprise, it appears to be an unfertilized egg. You get upset with the shopkeeper and feel gipped out of the deal.

You consider coming back in the future to see if another egg hatches successfully but you have your doubts about this place.

And again: No luck. *sigh*
Oh, well... Could have been much worse. 😋

The shop restocks randomly throughout the day. There is no set time or amount of eggs that show up per day.

I'm about done with the Thief Shop. This is probably my 10th egg that I've purchased and I still have never had one hatch. At least this one was cheap.

The egg was still there.
But I didn't have enough EC on hand so I had to go to my strongroom and get some EC.
Went back and the egg was STILL THERE.
Hesitated a bit more and then... BOOM! xDDDDDD

Dang it that's my second egg this week for over 500k and neither hatched... rather frustrating.

Edit: The egg was 501k, i saw i didn't get the exact price.

The egg continues to rumbles and eventually hatches after more waiting. The creature survives for about 4 minutes but doesn't make it.

The egg cracks and appears to hatch... but a slimy, non-living object is located within. It's not a real creature but some weird inanimate object! You feel tricked by the shopkeeper and yell saying, "These eggs are supposed to contain real creatures and not stuffed with random items!"

You threaten the shopkeeper and say, "If you don't refund me for this scam, I'll turn you into the Town Hall!" The shopkeeper becomes very apologetic and fearful but only returns 24,213 EC. You decide it's enough to keep you quiet... for now.

I'm a glutton for punishment. There was also a 500k egg in there, but I did that once and it was nothing, so I'm not paying that again. 😋
