Creature Suggestion: the Emanoux

Preferably a creature for late spring/summer.

Descriptions;

Emanoux are nocturnal ferret-like creatures. They hatch only on lunar eclipses, thus classifying them as a rare species due to their minimal reproduction. After they hatch, they carry a piece of their egg shell in their tail. As the organism grows, the shard also develops into a rock-like substance that resembles the moon.

Emanoux are a fairly gentle species - they're only aggravated when their moon-like rock is stolen from their possession. Their rarity, though, makes it hard to find them. Most scientists gather around known gathering areas when they know a lunar eclipse will happen. Thus far, that has been the only way to observe this species in their wild habitat. Some Emanoux have been domesticated, and most of the domesticate individuals are kept with scientists for behavior studies. However, there are few that are given to people with special needs because their calming nature is useful for outbursts.

@whispers - Haha, it's both awesome and adorable. Although it's hard to pick a favourite, I'd say I love the third stage the best.

@whispers I love the changes of the moon as the creature grows up! And I noticed that the symbol on its head also changes. Very nice. ^^ I appreciate small details like that. They really help to make the creature feel whole. The ears of last stage are a little big, but everything else is great. 😃 I'd love for this to be made.
