I've been having this problem where pages load all wonky and I'm not sure why it's happening. It only happens on Egg Cave.It normally happens on creature profiles when it does happen but it does occasionally happen on other pages such as the Oasis or Thief shop, etc.It was only a couple times at first, but it's starting to happen more frequently.I have taken a couple screen shots and pasted them together to show what it'll look like:http://tinyurl.com/mpfz3y2I would have to scroll down, then over and then click feed, just to feed a creature when that happens. It fixes itself if I refresh the page, but I don't think it should be happening at all.As I mentioned, this only happens on Egg Cave.-I'm using Firefox-Version 35.0.1-Happens most commonly on creature pages when it does happen-Happens while on a phone as wellUpdate:This is still happening frequently. It had stopped for a little while, but it's doing it again, and I think it might be worse.

@shelby This only happens to me when I view Egg Cave from my phone.
shelby • 13 February 2015 at 3:39 PM
@fakeworld I forgot about viewing from a phone; it happens to me there as well. But it's been happening more frequently on my laptop as well.Going to edit main post to add mobile.
ida92 • 13 February 2015 at 3:45 PM
@shelby I have a different problem... I can't feed.. "Oops! There was a problem processing your request. Please refresh the page and try again" This is what I get each time I try feeding a creature..@Orderedchaos
iloveu2 • 13 February 2015 at 3:47 PM
@ida92 same here.
ida92 • 13 February 2015 at 4:58 PM
@iloveu2 Well, apparently the problem's gone now for me.
immortalraven • 13 February 2015 at 5:09 PM
Happens to me to only on my phone Not just with feeding. Can happen anytimeHappens randomly. Stops then starts again then stops. Eeh
laurel_wreath • 13 February 2015 at 5:27 PM
@shelby @ida92 This has never happened to me, I use firefox as well (and sometimes chrome). I do keep adblock on during feeding though (my browser goes nuts otherwise, it kind of hates EC's adds). I mean since most users seem to have this problem mostly on their phone where they usually don't block adds, it could have something to do with the adds. Sometimes I loose the connection while feeding though, like EC just stops responding for a few seconds and then there's the: "Ooops! there was a problem..." message. But I'm guessing the staff are aware of that. I've had that issue from time to time since I joined I think. It goes away quickly though, usually all it takes is to refresh.
shelby • 13 February 2015 at 5:29 PM
@laurel_wreath I have an adblock on as well, so I don't think it'd be caused by ads, for me at least.I get that message sometimes as well, but it always goes away pretty quickly, like you said. It seems to have stopped, for the time being, but I'm not sure if it will continue or not.
laurel_wreath • 13 February 2015 at 5:35 PM
@shelby Then maybe it's just luck that I haven't gotten the same issue then, I use the same browser as you. Or maybe it is because I usually feed when there's low traffic? It could be that EggCave just takes a heavy load and performs a bit poorer.
shelby • 13 February 2015 at 6:02 PM
@laurel_wreath I may have spoken too soon; it seems to be happening again.I considered the possibility it happens when there's heavy traffic on the site. Since I'm on from when I wake up until I go to bed, it happens sometimes and doesn't other times.
laurel_wreath • 13 February 2015 at 7:05 PM
@shelby ☹️ That's not fun, hopefully it won't get in way of the event tomorrow. It seems to be quite an annoying issue.
shelby • 13 February 2015 at 7:10 PM
@laurel_wreath I hope it doesn't either; but it might.I can deal with it, but it'd be nice if it could be fixed anyway.

I frequently have this problem as well. IT happens to me on every page, and does not always correct itself when I refresh the page.
cclynn2855 • 21 February 2015 at 9:15 AM
@ida92 Thats happened to me a lot yesterday
thursdays_dove • 28 February 2015 at 3:20 AM
I am commenting on this again because this is happening to me more frequently now - almost every time a page loads - and many times, the problem does not get corrected even after refreshing the page multiple times.
shelby • 28 February 2015 at 3:25 AM
@thursdays_dove Yes, same thing for me.It's happening a lot more for me as well.I'm close to sending in a ticket about this because it's making it very difficult to be on the site.

I've been having these issues as well. I use Chrome on Windows 8. I do use an adblocker, but it's disabled on this site. It's doing this way too much and is really interfering with playing the game.

I just noticed that Egg Cave updated their database servers , but this is still happening to me. So I'm going to go ahead and ping @Orderedchaos@Ian@zero_chaosDunno if this is something you can look into or not but it'd be appreciated.
tehuti88 • 4 March 2015 at 11:43 PM
Cave page is blank for me. The header and everything else is there, but no cave and no eggs to adopt. Just blank. :/This has happened to me in the past but after like a day was fixed...it's just odd to get it after a database update.Nobody needs to ping or reply to me, just reporting a bug.
shelby • 7 March 2015 at 7:24 PM
I'm going to send in a ticket about this tomorrow if no one replies to this by then. It's happening really bad at the moment.@Ian@Zac@Meteoroid@zero_chaos
Zac • 7 March 2015 at 10:31 PM
@shelby Sorry this is occurring! We've had a couple of other reports from other users encountering this.I've tried using the same browser but haven't been able to replicate what's in your original screenshot. How often does this happen, and are you able to make it stop by refreshing? It sounds like its a problem with Firefox not fully loading pages.
shelby • 7 March 2015 at 10:36 PM
@Zac It happens really frequently. Throughout the time I'm online. It seems to happen randomly and then seems to go away.Refreshing doesn't always help. It helps maybe 10% of the time, and the rest of the time I'd have to refresh the page anywhere from 3-5 or more times for it to fix itself or I'll just have to go to a different page entirely because refreshing doesn't work. I'd use a different browser, but Egg Cave takes a few minutes to load on Google Chrome for me.
fakeworld • 7 March 2015 at 11:21 PM
@shelby @ZacFor some reason the problem doesn't occur for me anymore. Ever since the database servers was updated, everything has been working perfectly fine. Have you tried using Safari, Maxthon or Opera?
thursdays_dove • 8 March 2015 at 1:19 AM
@Zac - I use Chrome and this happens to me frequently. As shelby mentioned, I am also having to refresh many times and sometimes that does not work, so I have to open a new tab. It happens to me on Chrome and Firrefox and also on my mobile. It doesn't seem to matter which page I am on.
immortalraven • 10 March 2015 at 1:46 PM
@Zac This has been happening everyday on my phone ever since the database updated. I have chrome on here. It's happened once on my laptop while o was on chrome but I usually use firefox and hasn't ever happened on my laptop on firefox
Ian • 10 March 2015 at 2:32 PM
@allThis has been happening to me as well! We are working on a permanent fix for this issue as we speak. We apologize for the inconvenience caused.
shelby • 10 March 2015 at 4:54 PM
@Ian Oh good!I didn't want to try and have to find a different browser just to use Egg Cave.I hope you're able to figure it out quicly.
axelgon • 13 March 2015 at 3:42 PM
This is happening to me too -_-
veritaspunk • 13 March 2015 at 3:48 PM
@shelby I have the same issue only on my tablet.
