Creature suggestion: In need of a name!

So I came up with a new creature suggestion, I'm trying to figure a name for it. I would also like help from some creative writers to help with the description.

150 feeds -> 300 feeds
Habitat: Arc city

Height and Weight:
Egg: 8 inches, 4-6 pounds
Hatched 1st stage: 1 - 2 feet, 20 - 50 pounds
2nd stage: 3 foot, 75 pounds

Egg Description: The egg often grabs the attention of children with its bright neon orange color. The eggs are incredibly soft to the touch and are often seen with little kids rubbing their noses against its fur.

It's cute. How about calling the creature 'Doxie'. It's a nickname or shorting of the Dachshund breed.
