Why did you join Eggcave?

There was an older topic for this, but it was from 2011, so I decided not to bump it. 😋

"Why did you join EggCave? Everyone has a story. We didn't just wake up one day and said, "I'm going to search EggCave! And join the first site that come up!" xD Or maybe you did..."

My story?
So basically I was searching up those cute animals made up of punctuation and symbols and such, and I stumbled upon this. And that is how I found out about Eggcave. 😊

@dragon_collector I joined when a group of my friends found this great new site called EggCave. Sadly I'm the only one who still plays, I've been addicted since day one!

I was on a website called Meez, and at the time I was very active on there, but wasn't too active on the forums. One day I decided to go to the forums and lurk for some odd reason lol, and seen a thread of someone asking for feeds and clicked their creature.

I don't remember why I originally came to eggcave a few years back. But I do know why I came back, recently. I love greatly how active it's community is and I enjoy raising the critters. Other websites I am on almost feel like ghost towns.

When i was twelve and was addicted to Neopets I saw an add for Egg Cave and decided to check it out. Ended up falling in love with it a year after i joined and now i'm not as addicted to Neopets anymore lol

I was bored and kinda feeling down because I think one of the games I used to play closed. I went on a hunt for fun online games and somehow stumbled across this site! 😊

I joined egg cave because one of my second life daughters at that time was a member here and always had me clicking and feeding eggs for her.

Now I'm kinda hooked!

I made notice of Egg Cave very briefly in 2009/2010 because I was a regular lurker on the TDN forums. I noticed these eggs starting to appear shortly after but I took a hiatus from Neopets and didn't have the interest to keep up with any forums related to Neopets ...

In September/October of 2014 I joined Egg Cave looking for an alternative to Neopets and the server volatility that existed during that time.

@dragon_collector I came on eggcave because my sister recommend me the site but it took awhile for her to get me on.but I thought why not check it out it looks quite cool and nearly a year has past since then and I'm still here 😃

@dragon_collector Neopets too, this game killed my Neopets addiction and I became addicted to Egg Cave ^^" I think I was looking for cheats for the Festival of Neggs on TDN or something else that must be cheats then I saw this ad. Ads don't really catch my eye much (even if there's a Flight Rising ad I'd only notice it later) so I don't know why this did.

I can't believe I been here for more than 2 years already.. And I joined when I was only 8 😱

I was playing some other pet game and came by a Eyleymo in somebody's signature. Clicked and fed it, went off on my way. Came by another pet in somebody's signature. Clicked and fed it, took interest.

I joined back in 2011 when I saw an ad for it on, I think, Neopets. Thought the creatures looked nice and joined, I was really into these kind of sites 😉
