Tanglepath dropped his mouse and rushed to Moonsplash's side. He helped her up. "Are you ok? Did you hurt anything?"

Moonsplash, with Tanglepath's help stood up,"I'm fine it's just the rain is making every stone in this forest hazardous." Eveningmist nodded glad that Moonsplash was fine. The camp was now in view.

Tanglepath sighed in relief. "Ok. Well... good!" He hurriedly picked up his mouse and walked in the camp's direction.

They entered the camp. Moonsplash went to a sunny spot to groom her fur.

Mosspelt was stretching in the sun. He flicked his tail slowly watching the cats come and go.

Nighttalon was trying to sort out the whole "fused with a spirit thingy".

Eveningmist had decided to try and plan out patrols.

Tanglepath dropped the mouse in the prey pile. He wasn't sure what he should do. He glanced at Nighttalon, looking like something was bothering him. Then he looked at Moonsplash grooming herself.

Moonsplash secretly hoped Tanglepath would come over.

So I nearly died because a spirit named Leben wants to be able to come into the Realm of the Living. WHY?!? me of all cats? What can I do that'll make this spirit like me as a "vessel"? He noticed Tanglepath looking at him so he calmed himself and tried to seem normal.

Tanglepath cocked his head when Nighttalon started acting himself again. Oh well. He padded over to Moonsplash. He sat down, wondering if this was a good idea. Tanglepath licked his paw and rubbed his face.

Nighttalon breathed out relieved that he wouldn't have to explain himself. He'd have to be more cautious pondering about this sort of thing.

Moonsplash smiled."Your training seems to be going well," she said between licks.

{It's time for *Shocking Development* involving MistClan's residential trash.}

Blazestar, tired of hunting, realized how dangerously close he had gotten to the river. Swollen over its banks by the constant rain, it churned past threatening those living by it. He already spotted the scuffled tracks of mice and voles leaving their flooded homes.

The ginger tom shook his head to clear it before he started heading back to the heart of MistClan territory. Freezing up as he spotted the long and sleek form of a fox being drug through the river. Its russet fur long since soaked.

It floated past, staying on the top of the water unmoving as the river drug it over the waterfall.

Blazestar bit back a hiss of surprise as he ran down the river bank to see what became of the fox. Sure enough it sat at the bottom, being tugged down and past the view of the camp.

He felt his fur bush up in fear, and it took a few moments for him to force it back down. His eyes wide as he started back to camp.

If the river could take a fox who knew what it would do to his Clan.

Eveningmist sensed a disturbance. She ran out of the camp and came across a ruffled seeming Blazestar. "Blazestar what happened? Are there invaders? Natural Disaster?"

"We need to get a patrol down to the basin by the end of the river. A fox has been taken, and we can't let it rot." Blazestar said his voice shaking. "And when that is done please come see me. I need to make an announcement to the Clan."

Tanglepath smiled shyly. "Yeah, I guess. Honestly, I not used to being around a bunch of other cats. I've been by myself ever since I was young."

Moonsplash's eyes widened,"Oh... that sounds sad, but I guess you're used to it. When your born into a Clan you really are never alone. When you're born your in the nursery with all the kits. When you're an apprentice you're always training. Once you're warrior well you're always patrolling and stuff. Elders also have each other to chat with all day."

Eveningmist nodded. She dashed into camp and ran to the warrior's den barely avoiding crashing into Moonsplash and Tanglepath. She stuck her nose in looking for someone to send out. She gave up on that and called Mosspelt and Nighttalon over. "You two need to go over to the river's basin to find a fox body. Once you find it bury it in the forest."

They nodded and left camp.

Tanglepath tried to visualize it, but couldn't. "Yeah, this whole experience is new, but I kinda like it. You know someone always has your back."

She nodded,"It can be hard to get some peace and quiet though!"

Eveningmist padded over to Blazestar,"I sent out a patrol they're on their way."

Mosspelt and Nighttalon followed the stream to it's basin. It was a bit odd that they had to bury a fox but loyalty to the Clan could involve odd things.

Shadepaw wondered what the commotion was about, and she knew that it was not the right moment to ask Blazestar for a mentor.

Sunsetheart came out of the den starting to wonder what to do now.

Moonsplash nodded,"It is."

Mosspelt and Nighttalon reached the basin and saw the fox body whose fur was waterlogged. Mosspelt dragged it out of the water and Nighttalon aided him. After they dragged it out Nighttalon said,"Why do you think we're burying a fox?"

"I don't know," Mosspelt replied. They started digging a hole to put the fox in a little ways in the forest.

Eveningmist nodded she waited near the entrance not sure how long it would take.

Wolfwind, having gathered enough herbs as she saw fit, headed back into camp. Pausing for a moment as she heard Blazestar tell Eveningmist about the drowned fox.

Now, I don't think that's the kindest way your leader could have gone about with my Kin. But I'll let it slide. Ari stated, appearing beside the Medicine Cat.

Wolfwind glared at the fix before she dropped the herbs off in the medicine den. Ensuring no one was around, the gray she-cat moved off to one of the secluded edges of camp, before glaring at the fox. "Like we know how to properly care for a dead fox." She whispered.

It wouldn't kill you to learn. Ari said before she vanished again. Probably off to aid in the safety if that fox's spirit.

"It's been good... I sometimes wonder about what StarClan's up to," She replied,"They seem quiet sometimes, but I know they're out there."

Mosspelt and Nighttalon dragged the fox to the hole and gently dropped it in. They then buried it.

"Should we pray for a moment for it? Do foxes have their own StarClan?" Nighttalon asked.

They have their own ways. You might as well pray for it to try and satisfy Ari.

Mosspelt shrugged,"They might. I guess we can wish it luck..."

Nighttalon wished the fox's spirit luck wherever it goes.

They began to trek up to camp.

Mosspelt and Nighttalon entered the camp, so Eveningmist padded over to Blazestar. "The patrol is back," She said.
