@emeraldfirefly @pitch1226 @niale Blazestar nodded before he climbed up onto the Tall Rock. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here beneath the Tall Rock for a Clan meeting." He called out, before looking down at the cats below him.

@niale @pitch1226 @thebrokenvibe Eveningmist padded to the tall rock. Mosspelt and and Nighttalon followed in suit and sat down a fox length form it's base. "Let's go," Moonsplash mewed and sat at the Tall rock.

Got AP Bio homework to get done.}"Earlier today when I was hunting I came by the river, and found that it had flooded well enough to have forced the creatures by it out of their homes and nests. As I stood there investigating, I was shocked to find that the river had claimed the life of a fox. Pulling it down and along with it well after it passed over the waterfall." It is in my best interest to keep the Clan safe and so I will say that until the rain stops no one is allowed within five fox-lengths of the edge of the river waters. It would also be wise to start sending out a few scouting patrols into the forest to find where prey can be found, as due to the rains and flooding many of the prey we hunt have gone into hiding or have left altogether. " Blazestar announced, looking down at his Clan. He knew what he asked was serious. Especially since in prey short moons the river supplied them well.But it was far too dangerous now.

@niale @pitch1226 @thebrokenvibe Eveningmist ran over a list of areas she knew that might have prey. A few berry patches in the forest had mouse holes around them. But it was a pity the river was unavailable.

@niale @thebrokenvibe @emeraldfirefly @pitch1226Amberflower listened to Blazestar's announcement from the entrance of her den. No cats allowed near the river? That would make hunting patrols less successful, since much of the prey they brought back was fish, but Amberflower knew it was for the best. "We can't have any hunters injured." She thought to herself.Duskfur was exhausted. She hadn't been able to sleep much the night before because of her aching joints and the constant tickle in her lungs from the nonstop rain. She decided she needed to talk to Amberflower or Wolfwind. Duskfur hauled herself to her paws and headed to the medicine den. She was about halfway there, when her legs collapsed beneath her. She clenched her jaw and drew in a sharp breath in pain. She tried to stand, but she couldn't. She looked for the closest cat to help her up.

@niale @pitch1226 @thebrokenvibe @izziebee1017 Nighttalon had noticed that Duskfur had fallen so he helped her up. Moonsplash pondered where in the forest prey would be. Birds maybe... in their nests, but she was unsure.

"Umm, I need some herbs." She stated bluntly.Amberflower turned to see a bedraggled and tired looking Duskfur. "Why? What's wrong?" she meowed."My joints ache, and I have a tickle in my throught." Duskfur responded."Ok, well I'll get you some tansy for your cough and some comfrey and poppy seeds for your joints." Amberflower told Duskfur. As she looked through the herb store, Amberflower noticed that they had no watermint left at all. "How did I let this happen?" She wondered. She had just went through the store. Amberflower took the comfrey, poppy seeds and tansy and as she was giving them to Duskfur, she realized something.Watermint was only found near watery places, and the only watery place in MistClan territory that would support watermint was by the river. And Blazestar had just forbade any cat from going near the river.Amberflower finished applying the herbs and decided it would be best if Duskfur stayed in the medicine den for now, since there were no other sick cats. She helped Duskfur settle down and then turned to Wolfwind."Well, we have a problem." She meowed to Wolfwind. "We are completely out of watermint. We will definitely need it over leafbare. I would go and collect some, but you know where it grows, and with what Blazestar just said about the flooding...."

"Ok, sure!" Sunsetheart meowed although he was still a little shocked because of the fox's life gone from the river recently. They started to head out into the forest checking spots that would be good for hunting or at least available for them to hunt in.@emeraldfirefly@thebrokenvibe@izziebee1017

Wolfwind suggested.Or you can go by the river and get it there. I'll ensure nothing harms you, spirits honor. Ecl suggested, his voice barley more than a faint buzz inside Wokfwinds head."It can't just grow by the river. And it it ends up so, I might be able to find a spop upstream where the water isn't as badly flooded." Wolfwind pressed, looking at Amberflower.
