"Well, I think we can find some food...and I guess you can rest until we do. Geez, what happened to you?" She laughs. "Um...Heather, are you going to tell Gabby...?"

"no, you tell her." Heather says sternly. She grabs some of gabby's money and runs off. "I'll be right back." she calls and goes to get Lycia 3 donuts. When she returns she hands then to Lycia and watches as she eats them hungrily. Gabby sighs. "Tell me what? Please? What happened?" she pleads with Ashlynn.@shadow_girl @pitch1226

"oh.." Gabby said and turned to Lycia and hugged her. "your the best! Thank you!" she laughed. "Now, Im going to go look for a place for us to stay." Gabby said standing up. "Be right back." and she jogged towards the town.~~~~~~Heather shifts into a unicorn and neighs for Ashlynn. "SO AWESOME!" she says.~~~~~~~Lycia smiles at all the kind people. I'm just the one in charge of this thing you're all doing, but to be honest, it gets pretty boring."Arui and Kirio ran towards where the King's room may be."Alright... It's late... There isn't any guards here..." Kirio said whilst they looked around. "The king really isn't worried about anybody slipping past the castle entrance."Then, they turned into shadows alongside Arui, and saw the orb floating."It's there!" Arui whispered. She carefully grabbed the orb, but realized it was incased in glass."Looks like we won't be able to do anything about it... But there must be away to get it without breaking the glass!" She noticed a lock below."Looks like the key is important!" She then grabs the key and unlocks the glass barrier. As Arui tried to reach towards it the orb released chains and locks around."Crabs! Looks like this won't be easy..."Arui then grabs the heavy orb, and opens one of the windows. She then chucks the orb outside the window, and then jumps outside with it."Be careful!" Kirio whispered, and then they sunk into the shadows and slinked towards the ground. Arui was helplessly falling, and landed on Kirio's arms."Heh... Lucky break, right?" Kirio smiles."Yeah! At least we got the orb," she then gets off Kirio's grasp and grabs the orb, and continues speaking, "besides, we're going to unlock it. Maybe the tree has something?" She asked."Maybe."

@nightmaremoon12 @lailaluckyseal87 "Well, I'm not exactly sure, but the current theory I have is that I bled to death after my wings were torn out. I still have the scars." Ashlynn tries to smile, but that thought brings back memories.~~~~~~She's in the lab with her mom. The lab. The one her mother conveniently hid in the basement. Her mother is sitting on a stool, mixing vials and scribbling notes. Ashlynn is sitting at a stool around 10 feet away, watching. Her mother looks up and pulls her brown-gray hair out of her faces. "Ashlynn", she says, pulling out a vial, "let me see your back." Ashlynn shudders. She gets off the stool and looks pleadingly at her mom. "Do I have to...?" She doesn't want her mom to know about the...things that have appeared their. "Yes dear. Now." Her mother gives her a look. So she does.Her mother gasps at the wings that unfurl, tasting the freedom of air. She smiles at her daughter. "Honey, take this vial. Drink it up, now." As Ashlynn drinks, her mother watches her closely. Ashlynn thinks she hears her mutter something faintly like "I've done it!", but she's not sure. As she finishes the concoction, a drowsy feeling washes over her. She's...so...tired....she stumbles into a wall and slumps back. Sleep takes her.~~~~~~Ashlynn blinks. "Sorry guys...I blanked." She attempts another feeble grin, failing miserably just like the first time.

Heather jumps up and yawns. "I'm going to take a nap." she says turning into a panther and climbing the tree. "Good night!" she calls and falls asleep.~~~Gabby nods to Heather's comment. "I'm tired, i'll go sleep too." She smiles and turns into a wolf, curling into the ball and falling asleep.~~~Lycia watches worriedly as Ashlynn blanks out. She senses something wrong and begins to speak, "Are you sure your ok? I can sense that something bad just happened." She scoots closer to Ashlynn, staring into her eyes to see if she's telling the truth.@shadow_girl @pitch1226

"But then sone nutjobs decided to play around with my DNA and—POOF!—here I am, Bird Girl." She scowls. "I'm a freak. It took me so long to even master my wings, and they were torn off. I'm a crippled monstrosity.""At least, that's what my mother said."

"Why would she do that? Didn't she love you?" Lycia asks her voice cracking at the word love and you. "Sorry.. my mom died when I was little, she was trying to save me and my dad hated me so..." she trails off awkwardly.@shadow_girl

@lailaluckyseal87 "I'm not sure." In fact, Ashlynn remembers the memory clearly—her bleeding on the ground, and her mom glaring at her, the words repeating in her head over and over. Monstrosity. That's all she was, and all she would be. A monstrosity. A freak of nature. A experiment gone wrong. Wait...an experiment?! Ashlynn looks up. "I think I know who did it. Who made me like this.""It wasn't some crazy rogue scientists after all.""It was my mom."

"It all makes sense now—the blue food, all those birds she experimented on, the times where she'd study ME, everything! She was...mutating me!" Ashlynn looks angry. "So...my home. My mother. I thought she loved me. I was wrong.""The reason I'm who—what—I am is because of my family. The only family I ever had went and turned me into a hideous monstrosity for the sake of having a good laugh or two. It was all a horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE LIE!!!" Ashlynn realizes she's shouting. "OH WHATEVER! I DON"T CARE ANYMORE! IT WAS ALL A LIE...all...a...lie..." she brakes off into sobs, curling up and covering her face with her hands. "All....a...lie..."

Lycia feels such pity for Ashlynn that she hugs her and begins crying also. "I'm really really sorry! Please don't cry! My family hated me too." she winces when she mentions what her family did.@shadow_girl

@lailaluckyseal87 As she sits and cries with Lycia, Ashlynn begins to feel a bit better. If Lycia truly understands what she's just been through then...Ashlynn turns to her. "I'm sorry f-for being such a...wussy twit. I won't d-do it again." She hiccups. "What happened to you? If we're trading family memories, I might as well hear it." She winces. "Ooh. Sorry. That was rude."

"well... my mother died trying to save me when I was four, and my father hated me ever since then and he tried to ruin my life. He succeeded in getting rid of me. I was supposed to go to a mental institute because he told them I was "Mentally Disturbed" But i had stayed strong, not giving in to anything he did to me." she sighed. "Then, a week after he sent his letter and talked about getting me there he told me. I was shocked with the news and couldn't stand the idea of people talking to me like I was a stupid moron who couldn't think for myself. I committed suicide because I was tired of everything.." Lycia said and stops crying. "I forgive you, and your not a wussy twit. Your the nicest person I've ever met."@shadow_girl Sorry, hamster.

@lailaluckyseal87 "What is your goal? I mean, I'm sure you have a good shot at completing it—you can raise the dead, and shape-shift, and...well, it depends what your goal is. I don't think I've completed mine yet, I know WHY, but there haven't been any lights or special colors in my brain. So...I guess I need to find my childhood home and find proof." Ashlynn looks at Lycia and grins excitedly. "Do you want to go there? I still need to find it...but hey, and adventure! I'll leave a note, I have paper and a pen in my pocket."

@lailaluckyseal87 "Yes! Let's go now!" Ashlynn scribbles a note—"Me and Lycia went on quest, be back by tomorrow afternoon-Ashlynn"—and the skips out of the forest. "Come on!" she starts to jog down the road, using stacks of different memories to navigate her way in the right direction.

@lailaluckyseal87Ashlynn looks at her in an expression in between amazement and gratitude. "Are you sure? No wait, you already said you were. Yes please! Thank you!" She hops on Lcia's back. "Did I tell you about the one time where Heather turned into a unicorn? She was pink, with a sparkly blue mane and tail, and she had a kawaii face..." she chatters happily on, drawing up more stories. "And there was this one time that I met this little bird, and he had such a bigmouth, he kept yelling at me to stop singing, and course I kept singing..." She brings up all the stories of her journey here, where she met Gabby, Heather, and Cameron. "I'm not exactly sure what Cameron is doing now. I think he's sleeping. Oh well! Anyways!"

Lycia laughs at how much of a chatterbox Ashlynn is. "Geez, you sure like to talk." she says. "Wow. Heather turned into a unicorn?? That's cool! I didn't know shapeshifters could do that!" she laughs at not knowing her own ability. "So." she begins. "Where are we going to? Just tell me, I have a good sense of direction."@shadow_girl Sorry I was across the street at my grandparents and my brother stole MY chromebook charger ☹️ )☹️
