It seems there are 4 gem rooms per mine.

How do you deposit smelted ore, coal and gems?

There are 3 treasure rooms per mine.

@pet_cemetery Thrakhis will ask for specific materials in the depository, so keep checking back to see if he has what you need.

I'm loving this plot so far! Digging for gems and stuff is surprisingly relaxing.

And even though we've just met Thrakhis, I think he's my favorite NPC. He's really cool. 😋

Just 3? I must of miscounted. All right thank. What happens if you have leftover material once this part of the plot ends? Do you still get credited for finding it?

I have tons of ingots and materials yet I haven't been able to donate any ☹️ will my ingots ever come in handy? ☹️

@pet_cemetery There will be a system to offload remaining materials 😉 But the Storticai would much rather have them sooner than later so they won't be worth as much!

I found a bug. It won't let you smelt stainless steel. I have the right materials but when you click on the button to create it. The page loads but you don't get a stainless steel ingot and the material doesn't disappear

I've cleared every room in the mine and I've found Two mining rooms, yet I can't clear anymore floors, help?☹️

EDIT: been through every room Twice now, still not taking me back to the entrance

I have materials to smelt a stainless steal ingot but when I click “smelt” nothing happens and the page just refreshes??

Totally lost on finding these rooms ☹️ . I haven't found any room or nothing . It always end up at a dead end . Or something blocked .

They're normally at the very edges of the map so just try to focus on getting to those areas.

@Zac I think I have a glitch/bug: I have plenty of ores for the stainless steel ingot but it won't let me smelt it from the ores I have. I click the "smelt stainless steel ingot" button then it brings me to the top like it went through but no "successful smelt" pop up ☹️

What items are you missing? Have you opened the two locked cupboards. One of the keys aren't actually a key but another item you can find.

You should be able to click on the key and then click on the lock to open it. You get two keys but one doesn't look like a key.

How many times have you completed the mine? I'm up to 20.


Does the size of the ore/gems make a difference? I noticed they come in one and four block sizes.

I wish we had a system for interacting with NPC's just so I could compliment him on how cool he is, haha! He's a neat character, and I hope he sticks around after the plot's concluded, or at least comes back to visit Ark every once in awhile. 😊

(e) oh wait!!! i get it now...

Do we just keep going back to the map and dig till we find all the items for the Materials Depository?? where theres a progress bar?

Then what's the smelt for....... hm...

When you press return to the Asteroid Plot Hub under Quick links you can find Abandoned Mineshaft, Smelting Shaft and Materials Depository. This is what users have been mentioning!

There must still be somewhere you haven't gone. I've gone in many directions and have only found one room, much to my dismay.

Edit - You can smelt some ores into bars. You may not have found some ores yet
