I, uh, wanted to ask you a question." Valkur tapped her paws on the ground, lowering her head and looking up at the Wynerl. "Um, that snake, that you were with, before, um...it didn't follow you, did it?"The Aig twitched as she heard a noise in the burned brush, but she saw nothing when she looked over towards its direction, just a faint glow that faded quickly, as if it were never there. Valkur stared at the burnt branches a moment longer, then looked back at the Wynerl, awaiting her answer.

@dragonn@emeraldfireflyAutumn twitched her ears. These creatures can be friends or foes... Either way, she acted friendly at them. If they did anything fishy.., well, let's say that her jaws will get some exercise. "no It didn't" she responded "that I know of.." she said slowly. The thought made her shudder.

@xoxo5959 @dragonnn @wolfplay245 @sheepfox @ammolite Storm looked at Autumn and then at Valkur. That was a reasonable question, Storm thought. She curled her tail around herself and watched Autumn's reaction. It was good news that there was no snake thing following her.

Having finished the rabbit, leaving nothing behind in her hunger, the Aig stood up and stretched, lifting her wings high, and reveling in the pleasant feeling. No longer did she feel pain in her right wing, though she was still unsure whether or not she could fly.Valkur walked over to the stream and dipped her beak in, collecting water. She then lifted her head and tilted it back, to force the water down her throat. She repeated this action several times. Walking back over to Storm, the Aig pecked around the ground, nosing burnt grass out of the way of her beak. I wonder what killed the fire dog... Looking at the Aska beside her, Valkur asked her, "Then what could have happened to, um...Inferno? There was only the rabbit there when I saw him, and it was dead too."

@dragonnAutumn remembered a Lycire and Coinster fighting. Could Inferno be a Lycire? "Is inferno a lycire?" Autumn asked.

@xoxo5959 @dragonnn @wolfplay245 @sheepfox @ammolite Storm raised her head,"Yes, Inferno was a Lycire. Hm..." Storm racked her brain to form a guess at why Inferno died. "Remember that Coinster? Perhaps she killed Inferno," Storm said. After all blood did surround Inferno based off what Valkur said.

@dragonn I'm playing detective here! Now we need evidence!)fire dog... lycires are fire dogs! It could be possible that the Coinster killed the victim, but then where was the suspect? If the suspect was dead, then where is the suspect's body? Autumn's head swarmed with thoughts. "Hey, I'm going to look for evidence to see who killed the fire dog" she told the group. Autumn dashed off to the body of the dead Lycire/firedog

I should see if my owner has any in the cove... Valkur watched as Autumn ran off in the direction of Inferno's resting place. Suddenly, she remembered the indigo flower on the grave of that black cat. Inferno...made that grave for her... She thought for a moment, remembering the fire dog's sad cries as he mourned the death of his friend. A shudder ran through Valkur's body. She wasn't used to feeling sadness or remorse. Before, she had no reason to. He wasn't that bad at all, was he... Valkur stood erect, staring off in the direction the Wynerl ran to. "I'll be back Storm, I'm going to help Inferno," Valkur crowed to the Aska. The Aig ran off after Autumn, a determined look on her face.

@xoxo5959 @dragonnn @wolfplay245 @sheepfox @ammolite Storm watched the two of them run off. Storm got back to eating her fish and considered following them. She finished her fish and bounded after them. Storm soon caught their scents' and followed them till she caught sight of Valkur and Autumn.

Finnaly Autumn reached the place where the Lycire laid. She sniffed around if she can find any scent. There was an unfamilliar scent that she couldn't identify. Autumn groaned and searched around for evidence. Rocks...blood...rocks...blood...blood...Coinster feather.... Wait, Coinster feather? She sniffed the feather then sniffed the ground for the scent if the best touched the ground. She was lucky today because she found a trail. Sniffing, Autumn followed into a corpse of a Coinster, not far away from the body of the victim. She sniffed the Coinster's body. Sure enough, there was Inferno's scent on it. The Coinster was the murder.

@ammolite (Just want to say, the Coinster who inflicted the wounds that killed...wait, you played Goldie, didn't you? Anyway, her body was eaten by the Draqua. But this is good, a red herring. She saw Autumn nosing around the clearing, and stopping at the body of...Another creature? How did I miss that? I was just here- Valkur shook her head. I need to help Inferno. ... She looked at the body of the fallen canine. The dried blood on his fur had darkened further, and it looked like he hadn't been moved. A sad moment passed by for Valkur as she watched the Lycire's body, but she regained her focus. She looked around the clearing for a good spot. Mimicking the grave Inferno had made, at least how she remembered it, Valkur walked along the edge of the clearing, scratching the earth underneath the charred tree stumps, checking to see how soft it was..

Storm was beside her, and had begun digging. Valkur wagged her tail, and moved a bit, just out of Storm's way. She then began to happily dig along with Storm, grateful for her assistance. I guess Storm would know the best place to bury him. I wasn't so sure. Valkur looked over at Storm. "We need to bury him deep enough so that no one eats his body." She thought for a moment. "And we need a flower. Some kind of pretty one..."

Zai stared at them for a while then started to help dig. "Im Zai.." she whispered while digging,

Storm scanned the area to try and spot any flowers. There was a slightly purple blob by the lake. She started padding over to the lake to get a better look. Sure enough it was a lily.

She was too focused on her digging task to respond though. Once Storm had deemed the hole big and deep enough, the Aig too ceased her digging. She wagged her tail. It's a good thing we've got some smart creatures around! "Yes, let's get all the flowers we can for Inferno!" Valkur chirped happily to the group. Since she didn't know where exactly to get flowers herself, she instead walked over to Inferno's body. Gathering up her courage, she placed a paw on his back. He was still warm, but she didn't suddenly burst into flames, so she figured he was safe to handle. His tail was warmer, but also didn't burn Valkur, so she gently grabbed it in her beak and began pulling the Lycire's body towards the grave dug for him, careful not to tug too hard.

She figured that if it was planted with the roots it could keep living over Inferno. She picked up the plant and took it over to the grave. She placed it next to it and went over to Valkur to help tug the Lycire to the hole.

This place grows lavenders now?! she thought. It has been a while since she has been here, so there may be different changes. Carefully, she dug up the lavender, roots and all. She gingerly picked it up and padded towards the group.

Using her wings, Valkur hopped backwards over the grave, her blue appendages allowing her to hover above the grave long enough to make the jump. With the Lycire's tail still in her mouth, she pulled him into the grave, slowly and carefully. "There." Hopping into the grave herself, she used her beak to close the canine's mouth. He didn't look as ghastly and uncomfortable, now that he wasn't screaming out into the void in agony. Shifting his limbs around so that he somewhat looked curled up with his tail wrapped around him, Valkur decided she was satisfied with her work, and climbed out of the grave, gripping the earthen walls with her claws and flapping her wings for assistance. She stood next to Storm and continued to look over Inferno's body."Now to bury him."

She too had acquired dirt on her pelt, but she was too busy to pay much mind to it. Once the hole was filled, Valkur walked up the grave and patted down the dirt with her paws, making it look as smooth as the grave Inferno had once made for the cat.She trotted back over to Storm and Autumn and sat down, facing the grave. "Now for the flowers. Right?"
