"Thank you for feeding me," she murmured quietly. A gentle breeze blew by. Valkur sat before the grave quietly for several moments. Then that became too long for her, and she focused on the purple flowers, and the dirt they sat in. The dirt looked dry in some patches, as if it too had suffered in the forest fire. The earth get thirsty too, right? It does rain..."Should we put some water where the plants are? It looks a little dry there.." Valkur asked the Aska and Wynerl.

It just drifted quietly calmly and misted the earth. "We still might need more water than this," Storm remarked.

Autumn stood up and shook the flying Aigs around her head. She looked back and saw a plastic bag, a bit ripped. "Grr.. Don't the humans give nature any respect at all?" Autumn murmured.

A small hole in the bag made some of the water seep into the ground. Autumn dashed quickly over to the group. When she was there, half the water from the bag was missing. She dumped the water on the plants. After she finished, Autumn now carried an empty wet plastic bag.

There had been an electrock in her old cove and she remembered that it had said something about electrical communication. Storm was able to detect the inflections in the currents but was pretty hopeless in translation. She was better at reading clouds and stuff like that for the emotions and thoughts of the aska controlling them. They were surprisingly intricate, and with practice one could tell almost anything about the aska's state of mind. She looked at Zai with a curious expression on her face.

Autumn had finished watering the plants, and Inferno's grave looked complete.Valkur caught the wild dog's question. She looked over at the deceased Coinster not many paces away from the group. "Well," Valkur responded to Autumn, "what about that creature over there, the one you were sniffing earlier? Did you find anything that might tell us what happened to Inferno?"The Aig continued to look at the body of the Coinster, deep in thought. Should we bury this one too? Even if it, might have killed Inferno...

@ammolite @wolfplay245 (Goldie the Coinster had her body eaten by the Draqua, yes. Ammolite forgot, and so a Coinster body was found near Inferno by Autumn. The post was not erased, so I decided to go along with it, and no one objected. So there is a dead Coinster in this clearing, though it is not Goldie, it is a nameless NPC so to speak. Do with it what you will.)

Instead, the wild dog loped away, silently disappearing from the clearing. "Uh, was it, something I said?" Valkur whipped her head around to look at Storm. The Aska was still there, along with the smaller electric cat, Zai. Good.... But Venus was nowhere to be seen. Assuming the Icenyro had climbed up another tree, Valkur made no mention of her disappearance. Instead, she stood up and trotted over to the Coinster's body. In vain she attempted to sniff it with her beak, and feeling silly, she stopped trying to smell and flipped the body over onto its front. Nothing unusual. In fact, the body was bereft of any scars or wounds indicating a fight. This person wasn't even burned...With her beak, Valkur dragged the Coinster body over to Storm and Zai. Releasing her hold on it, she spoke, "Hey, I don't think this creature killed Inferno, whatever it is. It doesn't look burned at all." She tapped the ground with a forepaw. "Sooo, what should we do with it? Just leave it here?" We did just lose our fisher... Valkur thought, somewhat bitterly.The Aig sat down. "And, well," she looked over at Storm, then briefly at Zai, "I do kinda, want to, um, get back home..."
