Christmas is more than just a day in December,
It's all of the things that we love to remember.
Frosty days and ice-still nights,
Fir trees sparkling with many bright lights.

Mince pies, turkeys, sweets and more,
Christmas is a time for happiness galore.
Laughter that rings through the house and its halls.
Children that open presents with excited calls.

Family and friends get together in December,
That alone is good enough to remember.

As you see,
A Christmas tree.
Shinning very bright,
All the children know what is right.

They had seen a flash white and red,
Seen the light out the window sitting on the bed.
They tiptoe down the creaking stairs,
Until a wonderful smell fill the air.

Their great, green tree shinning bright,
So bright, so bright, in the dark light.
They see a broom,
And hear a boom.

Then up the stairs they run
Hiding in bed they said ' that was not fun'.
And finally fell to sleep
No counting sheep.

The next morning they awake with gasp,
When seeing the Christmas tree, they clasp.
Oh, the colors and..... GIFTS, no need to run,
Open it up, what fun!

It's Christmas here today!
Or Christmas on it's way

All the lights on the trees
We put them all up, one, two, three!

As we sing a jolly tune,
While the sky shows the moon

Then we went into our beds
Sleeping soundly with no dread

We woke up to a sound
Then hopped onto the ground

We heard the sound of jingling bells
We knew it was Santa, and we knew it well

Chopping down a pine
in old West Virginia,
Bringing grace and spirit
Out from within ya,
Decorating the tree
with ornaments and lights,
Filling the tree with presents,
Until it's late at night.
The kids drink cocoa and make cookies,
And off they go to bed.
The parents stay up,
And think, in their head.
"When I was little,
I would stay awake,
The thought of Santa
would keep me up to shake.
I would shiver, tremble,
If santa was at our house
But when I got up,
there was nothing but a mouse.
The stockings full,
I crept back to my room,
It left me just to sit there,
Sad, and in gloom.
The next morning, I stood up,
And I Shouted with glee!
Down the hall, my parents made cinnamon rolls
for a hundred and thirty three.
We sat in a circle,
Opening up presents,
And that Christmas
was especially pleasant"
The parents wanted to bring joy,
so the parents crept in the night.
Filling the stockings,
with toys and delight.
And the parents crept to bed,
To join the innocent snoring.
Everyone finally sleeping that night,
As Santa's sleigh was soaring.

We sit by the fire
And conspire


Outside is white
It makes night seem so bright


Christmas has come
There's no time to be glum


The tree is up
And hot cocco in your cup


Presents under the tree
Excites me


Milk and cookies left on the table
With all the animals in their stable

Christmas has come
And no one is glum
For Santa is here
With all of his reindeer
Prancing on the roof
With fancy little hoofs
Down the chimney Santa slides
To the Christmas tree he strides
No one sees a thing
But they are all snoring
In their comfy beds
They dream of Santa's sled
Ho Ho Ho he shouts
As he continues on his route.
In the morning we all see
The presents under the tree
We laugh and have fun
And eat our cinnamon buns.
We all had a great time
But after the day, bed feels divine.

The snow was falling around my feet
The snowflakes dancing through the sky
I watched as it snowed more and more
And the ground began to freeze

The children pulled on iceskates
And jumped onto the frost
Before spinning and twirling
And flipping and whirling

I swear that night I heard sleigh bells ringing
I swear I heard a merry cheer
I swear I heard magical sounds
That nobody but me could hear

I woke up the next day
To the smell of chocolate and marshmallow
I heard the shouts and screams of excitement
In our neighbours houses

I ran down the rickety staircase
Towards the living room
Where sat the decorated tree
With presents underneath

One caught my eye
The wrapping paper shone
Trying to grab my attention
I picked up the small package with excitement

I pulled the golden ribbon off
The beautiful purple box
I took the lid off

Inside was a fragile egg
I lifted it up and walked out the house
Into the cold of the snowstorm
Right outside my door

I walked towards the barn
Fighting against the wind and snow
I pushed open the door and walked in
I struggled to close the door but I managed to

I looked around me
Creatures meowed and barked
Leaping at me and the egg
I sat down on the hay

I turned on the heaters
To keep myself warm
All the creatures came around me
And huddled together

I lay on the floor in exhaustion
And managed to fall asleep
I was full of Christmas spirit
As the cold night closed in on me.
