Broken Images?

Hi

I was feeding some critters and noticed that after I click the "Feed Creature" the resulting image shows as a broken image.

If this issue has already been brought up then I apologize.

(No..it is not my browser because the food images showed up earlier today)

Odd. I tried two different browsers and after I click the "Feed Creature" button, the food graphic shows as a broken image.

Since it was fine earlier today and suddenly is messing up for three different browsers I can't help wonder what is going on.

Nope. Just a pc.

Like I said, I find it odd that it worked fine earlier.

However, as I recall, when I was a member here a year or so back, this sort of issue cropped up before at times and not for everyone.

So I am inclined to think it is just a symptom of a stressed server or something.

Well...I'd love to except I am not a member of a image hosting site and I really do not wish to do so just for occasional use but since you acknowledged that it happened to you at times then I know it is not the fault of my browsers.

I have broken images also and my travels are not updating when I change them, nor when I add a new one to a creature that hasn't had one.

Hmm..well, maybe the issue will clear up by tomorrow.

Now that I think of it, this has happened before so I should know by now not to really worry about it.

I've been having the same kind of issue, I'm using a desktop... I've encountered this with my cove before - awhile ago, this time it's feeding ... earlier in the 4pm ECT hour I was also encountering broken images with the side menu icons, that seems to be stable as of present .. but the broken images while feeding persists...

I'm having this issue in both Firefox and Chrome.

I get a 403 error when I try to open the broken image URLs.

I have been having this issue regardless of the browser I use.

The images showed up fine at first but starting yesterday (or thereabouts) the broken images started appearing.

It even happened in the Adoption area in the "Explore" tab. I refreshed the page and it showed but still...

Anyways..I had this happen before on my previous account so I guess it will get ironed out eventually. 😊

I have had an issue with broken images, feeding ("Whoops, something went wrong!" And the page refreshes), and the cave too (I was somehow able to do 13 cave attempts this morning before the timer started. I recieved the "Whoops, something went wrong!" message, and when the page refreshed it showed I took 13 cave attempts) ever since we got back on Version 2, regardless of the browser I use

Yeah, I remember having that issue too but I suspect that the ping rate doesn't keep up with the user input so if one is trying to click quickly then little snags develop.

Well, so far all seems ok.

@ryu28000 - I'm pretty sure I was experiencing this same issue a while earlier, but as of right now it seems alright.

But of course, this is on Firefox. I've yet to try this out on Chrome.

My main browser on one computer IS Firefox however, like I said earlier, I experienced the same issue on other browsers like Commodo Ice Dragon and Sea Monkey.

Sometimes the issue is constant and other times it is intermittent.

I am still having the same issue and my creature evolutions and
travels are not updating until EGG CAVE updates at 4 am or whenever the site updates. I've had this issue before, then a month or so later it was corrected some how, but it's been happening for several weeks again.

Each time I clear my temp files then recache on egg cave but STILL DOESN'T update. So I have no idea what the problem is.

I'm using Chrome, as I always have.

Other people seem to see the changes in travels and evolutions, but not me until the next day, no matter what I do.
