Let's see what could've happen if the CDWC was fair, how much better the creature would have been. Personally, I don't like the description we got at all. It makes the creature seem really boring (like: "It's a creature that promotes caring for the environment. That's it. That all it does. That's all there can be to it"), wasting such a beautiful design. I don't say my entry is best or that it had to win, but I just doubt Ian would win if he participated on the same rules as everyone else. It was really unfair that he participated in his own contest and chose himself. Let's see if I'm right. Post your entries, we'll see if they were turly better than what we've got. This is my entry:
Erthona
About Egg
Erthona eggs are often described as "pearls of the jungle". They are very beautiful and rare. All of jungle flora is capable of growing this egg, but few plants decide to do so. Research has proven that there is no greater pain than creation of Erthona, many plants are not able to recover afterwards and end up withering slowly.
About Creature
SAR Center has recently observed that number of Erthonas has increased greatly over the past few years.They are considered sacred on Ark and, when a larger group of them is encountered, their habitat cannot be visited by humans or subjected to deforestation. The main theory is that plants produce more Erthonas each year, sacrificing themselves to protect the jungle. Some people find this alarming and organise demonstartions against deforestation, while others belive the respect for Erthonas is harming the industry and demand full access to every part of the jungle. Ark goverment hestitates with choosing which group to listen.

Egg Description:
Ark is starting to overflow with rubbish and waste created by us! This little creature is trying its best as a seed but it needs more help. Will the Arkians help cleanse Ark once again? It just seems like a normal seedling that has started to germinate,and there's nothing special about it .. except that its extremely special, it symbolizes hope for the plants that are endangered.. because it protects them. It dearly hopes some loving and caring people will stumble across it.
Hatched Egg Description:
Little by little, it picks up organic waste and digests it. Its very happy to be able to help the environment! Join it on its journey to raise life on Ark, save endangered animals and provide a home for seasonal and retired creatures!
As a plant-ling, it wanders across the island, looking for an owner, it hopes to gain one. One day, a few plant-ling found The Cave and decided to settled there. You might be able to find one or two strays as they come out for some sunlight. These little plants do not require a lot of sunlight, preferring the damp and the shady areas. They do of course enjoy the sunlight too. But it's not a necessity for these them.

@asteria If he wanna write them, he gonna. Can't do anything much 'cept talk about it. Did my best. Enjoy!

@playermocha345 Shouldn't have done a contest then. Contests are meant to be fair, giving everyone the same chances. I know there isn't such thing as equality or justice in our world, but... I thought on a vitrual pet website it could be different. I guess it's only my fault that I was naive. About your description, the appeal parts seem pretty unique 😊

@asteria All well, maybe you could hold a mini contest yourself! Vote on who people think is the best. Get everyone to post theirs first then put in retired spare creatures. Will transfer some, lemme sleep first. Multiple votes of course.

@playermocha345 That would be a great idea, but I don't have any creatures uft or money to buy cc. Kinda hard to make a contest without rewards. We can choose a winner just for the sake of justice, but most people wouldn't be satisfied I think.

@asteria Well, I’m willing to sacrifice some of my babies from @miastone543
I just keep them there anyways. Better off in a raffle or mini contest. Doing that tomorrow. Too sleepy now.
Just for the fun of it.. even tho staff is checking up on this little oversight

@asteria
I know it said that I'll participate but I didn't after all šŸ˜‹ Lately I'm busy so I didn't have much time only for a drawing which relaxes me! About that contest you mention I still didn't see other description so I can't tell which is better. Sure I agree with you it's not so fair to be a winner in your own contest...why all this contest if all the others can't have the fair chance!What I'm mostly concern that all our creature descriptions/drawings yours and mine will they have any chance of being made....looking on all this it reminds on presidents elections, kind of but surely has the similarity to it!!Power above all, unfortunately.Thank goodness that I didn't participate I would feel a bit stupid it's sad to say it but unfortunately, I would.From now on I'll reduce all the drawings cos not only here but everywhere else also people rarely appreciated others work both written or visual so better is to withdraw myself I don't want to get upset here, my life is more important than some descriptions, drawing or else! I advise you to that also!Btw I know my own value you should also!Anyway, you have the skills, chin up 😊

@asteria
this is mine

Egg Description

What's this? An egg on a vine?! This egg has green leaves and vines sprouting from the top of it. Many citizens of Ark mistake the egg for a berry. The lucky ones who are picking berries might accidentally "pick an egg". Imagine how they feel when the egg hatches into a tiny creature!
Hatched Creature Description

The adorable creature who hatches takes an immediate liking to its owner. The creature's body is mainly made up of vines that resemble pea shoots. As the creature develops, its connection to nature grows stronger. If someone is polluting, this creature will be affected, depending on how bad the pollution is. These creatures love conservation and cleaning up the earth. They gladly pick up trash and get rid of pollution. The fungus on the top of its head confuses the owners, though. Some scientists believe the fungi play a role in conservation, but they aren't sure.

it's kinda lame I wish if Ian "won" the CDWC, why would there be one at all?

@isathebelle What you say is sadly very true. Well, it's indifferent to the quality of my life whether I win some contest or get my creature suggestion made or not. I do it mostly for the sake of expressing my creativity and sharing ideas. I would be happy to have my creature become part of the site, but I won't suffer if that never happens and I'll still be posting suggestions. Do you mean that you don't wanna be my collab partner anymore? If so, will you make the drawing for Tsunoko and quit then, or should I find someone else to draw it? I'm upset and disappointed by this situation, but I'll try to learn from my mistakes and limit my trust for admins and people from internet in general. It's a natural thing to desire power, far more natural than to desire equality or justice. And far more people is interested in power than in idealistic things. That's why trusting people you barely know is rarely a good idea. Sadly I'm too naive to remember that sometimes.

@icecloud101 I really like your suggestion, it makes the creature seem pretty adorable 😊
