The Meps - Creature Suggestion

The Egg - Meps eggs were first discovered when the SARC was doing a seafloor exploration program to investigate strange reports they had been recieving from the residents of a nearby town. When they first stumbled upon a Meps egg, they mistook it for an old piece of junk that had been lost to the sea. After further investigation, they carried it with them back to Ark for research purposes.

The Creature - After a Meps hatches, it is a very docile creature. Often, just staring at one can trigger relaxation and peace of mind. This is sometimes referred to as the "Meps Trance", by experts.

Once a Meps begins to mature, it becomes more destructive towards its environment. When the Meps was first introduced to Ark, this was unknown to its residents, which led to many grand buildings being nearly destroyed.

By the time a Meps reaches adulthood, it becomes much calmer. Its presence is peaceful and causes those around it to feel less disturbed or irritated. For this reason, a Meps is often present during diplomatic meetings and discussions.
