Sylvia is walking (ninja-like quietly) behind you(aka Chance). Dave(aka moi) is flying towards you and feels like something bad is going to happen. You make up that something bad. 😃

Chance felt a creeping sensation and shivered. He had a feeling he wasn't alone. Terremenths had no real enemies (???) but that was no reason to let your guard down.
Chance dropped to the ground and found quickly what he was looking for: another small stone that could easily fit inside a clenched fist without detection. He sat down and crossed his legs, as if meditating.

(Narrator)
Even deeper into the huge, dark, swampy, and altogether creepy forest, a low rumbling increased in pitch, until it was a scream that made you scream and cover your ears so they won't bleed. An earthquake-like senstation made your skin crawl because the trees started moving, moaning, towards the inkiest, gloomiest area of the forest, the smell of upturned sludge/dirt/mud penetrating the air. Here, in this vile, murky spot, no flowers grew. No magic, no light. Not even bugs fluttered or crawled around. It was a sinful locale, a disappointment to the otherwise beautiful island. But back to why the evil trees where gathering at this pitiful spot... There was a tall figure, dressed in black, dark robes. He had a puny little stick in his hand, and he shook. Why was he shaking? Well, if you listened carefully, above the roar of the trees, you could hear.. laughter. 'What?' you'd think, 'Why would anyone LAUGH in this awful area?' As so thought, the figure IS awful.

Worry lines deeping as he saw the corrupt trees moving, he flew like a bullet towards the boy, Chance. Thinking about how mysteriously he appeared, without a celebration like the other babies of his time, and how dark and foreboding his old father was.. Dave shivered. Of course it would be Chance, right there during the flight of the trees.

1. The forest is creepy.
2. There is a dark spot with a dark man who is creepy and laughing.
3. Creepy old guy flying at my charrie.
4. Chance had no celebration???
5. Creepy old guy knew Chance's dad??? (Who wasn't from Terrementh, btw)

"Ahhhh!!!" Chance wasn't expecting that at all. Instinctively he dived out of the way.

Rianee walked for a nice stroll in the woods. She walked around and saw Dave, along with Chance, a Terrementh boy from her Tribe.

"Why hello again, Dave. Hi, Chance."

Rianee said, waving at Dave and giving Chance a curt nod.

Chance wanted to yell something along the lines off; "That complete old creep flew right at me! He's off his rocker!" etc, but he had a reputation to uphold. He glanced over her cooly. "Hey. Now if you'll excuse me..." He brushed some leaves off his clothes casually and headed deeper into the forest.

Rianee asked quizically. She wasn't saying it to be rude or to point out anything he had done wrong, but Rianee was a goody-goody and wasn't used to anybody breaking the rules.

"I mean, we are supposed to not leave camp without permission of elders or Terrementh authority until we reach a certain age."

Dave blessed the girl, "Yes, you are right Rianee. Bless you. Chance, please."

Rianee was surprised a bit at the attitude of Chance towards a respected elder of their Tribe. Well, she wasn't completly surprised, after the stories she'd heard about Chance's brashness.

"You shouldn't speak like that to other members of our Tribe, especially to ones of a higher rank then you. You should regard him with reverance, unlike the opinions of repugnance I have for you."

Rianee snapped at Chance angrily, the words slipping out of her mouth before she could stop them. SHe didn't really want to stop them anyways though, this "Chance" boy needed to have respect for his Tribe.

Dave furrowed his eyebrows together. He spat out, "Rules. Are. There. For. A. Reason." Dave growled, "Don't dare taunt the one you let you live..." He turned away, "Alright, ignorant one, go die with you father in this murky mud pit of death and.." He whispered, "The Onde of Levende shall kill you."
"Come on Rianee, he isn't worth our time if he wants to die like his father."



(btw, the onde is like, serious stuff. like. DEATHLY SERIOUS. literally. to call apond his name is like voldemort xD)

"What JOKE?!" Dave exploded, drilling his finger into Chance's chest. "THIS one?? Gee, well, golly! Ha ha. HA. Hilarious. The guy thinks the forest isn't deathly! What a light way to kick such a seriously awful subject!" Dave mimicked Chance's exaggerated hand-throwing. A loud burst of maniacal laughter burst behind them, in the distance. "Oh no... we gotta hurry!" He took Rianee's hands, putting a bow and a pack full of arrows in them. "Can you use these??"

"Sheesh, how do people stand you?!? You don't have to act all, "High and Mighty", you know," he rolled his eyes. "Hey, and if I die, no big loss right? You guys don't have to put up with me, I don't have to put up with you, and it's not like you lose any good earth bender right? In your position I'd be egging me on," Chance winked. "So it should be, serve me right huh?" He jumped across the river to land on the opposite bank, perfectly executed like he had done so many times before.

Rianee screamed, feeling the tree roots grab at her feet. She hated when people touched her feet, it made her unstable and her bending become strange.

"I think so. I'm not perfect, but I can try..."

"What acting of "High and Mighty"?? I'd say it's you that's acting, O great person who can't bend ANYTHING!"
Dave screamed the last word, quickly summoning a burst of fire towards the minion who was about to bite Chance's leg, accidentally singeing his pants.
"No, you're right. Go die. Might as well. We can't use you, O bender-of-nothing!" Dave glared at Chance, fire in his eyes as he barely held down the desire to clobber him.
He looked at Rianee, "That'll be fine! Shoot anything you think that is dangerous, but be careful not to shoot us!" Dave froze the tree roots, so that the evil tree broke off and kept crawling forward.

Chance paled slightly, cold fury. It wasn't FAIR to value someone from birth! It wasn't his fault he couldn't bend!!! Yet that was all anyone ever cared about. He stepped forward angrily, probably going to strike the old man down, then roots attacked the old man and the girl, and he used the distraction to turn and run deeper into the forest.
He had always felt useless. Useless and unwanted from birth. Maybe because his father had left him behind.

Rianee called after him, stumbling over tree roots. She looked at Dave quickly and tripped over the tree roots that grabbed at her ankles.

Dave paled, his short plan failing. He ran after Rianee and Chance, "Rianee, quick, hop onto my back." He crouched, though it was probably pointless seeing as he was a lot shorter then Rianee. "Quickly!"
He marked his spot with a 'x' of fire spewing out of his mouth.
