Sylvia scowled with envy as she saw the other Terremenths going to homes. She looked at Hail sadly and picked her up as she headed back to her hide-out. She jumped as she heard a woman's voice offer food to her kindly. She silently shook her head. She preferred to steal unnoticed. Hail sniffed the air and growled a bit. She still smelled another she-kit.

@skylark haha we posted ours at the same time, so I'm editing.

Mariel strode along the border of all the territories as she pleased. She heard a commotion, but she wasn't in the mood to fight, so she watched from afar.

Deamons were scary.

Sylvia sensed somebody watching them. She whirled around, instinctively gripping her hand on Hail. She slowly turned back around and looked at the woman, who's name, she believed, was Beth. She looked at Beth suspiciously and said, "How do you know my name?"

Ruby sat down near Beth's feet, and licked her paw. Her eyes were watching the other kitten, though. Beth looked at Sylvia, as if she was studying her. "Oh, ok. Well... if you ever need help... or food.. or anything, frankly- Come by my place. Ok?" Beth looked past Sylvia, and saw Mariel, "Well, hello dear! Fancy meeting you here. How're you?"

Hail hissed a bit at the bright ginger kitten at Beth's feet. Sylvia sighed and sat down, as if expecting Beth and Dave to take her to jail.

Sylvi, startled, jumped to her feet again. She looked at the other girl and instantly remembered her. It was Mariel of Aquaina. She knew that many of the people recognized her and her kitten.

Mariel saw Sylvi, politley smiling sweetly. Petting Hail, she waved at her, saying, "Hello, I'm sure you know who I am. I've never met you before, although I've heard of you enough to recognize you."

Sylvia looked down at her feet. She mumbled, "Are you going to hold me prisoner, then?" Hail bristled up a little at Mariel's petting, for she didn't know who she was.

Ruby glared at Hail and rubbed herself against Mariel, purring her heart out. "Oh, Ruby. Must you be so jealous of other cats?" Beth chuckled.

Ruby stretched her long neck, her nails ready to scratch Hail. She kept purring and meowing, sometimes doing both at once. It sounded very strangled when she did.
Beth tried to sit down, but instead fell over and landed face first into a mud pile.

(XD I feel like embarrassing my charries now xDDDDDD)

Mariel inquired, alarmed. Patting both cats at once, she went over to Beth's side & reached out your hand.

Beth suddenly looked very muchly in despair, glaring at @skylark. But she nodded, took Mariel's hand and stood up. "Oh, it's quite fine. Heh, silly me, slipped on something invisible!"
Still glaring at @skylark, she brushed herself off, but with little affect. "Anyhoo, now would be a good time to test your water skills.. If you don't mind rinsing me off!" Beth chuckled.

Sylvia let out a gentle stream of water and sprayed Beth's hair. Hail jumped onto Mariel's back and started chewing her hair. ^^

Ruby hissed at Hail, and walked over to Sylvia. She sat down directly in front of her, her big brown eyes unblinking.

Hail ducked and growled. Sylvi silently picked up Hail and stroked her soothingly, while Hail was still trying to scratch and bite Ruby.

Ruby jumped back down, and sat down in front of Sylvi again. Sorrow filled her eyes as she looked at Hail.
Beth smiled, "Well... I was there at your naming... you had a pretty big celebration too. It's crazy that you're.. well.. like this now."
