Whats Your Favorite Crystal/Mineral!

I wanna see what all of your favorite crystals/minerals are!

For example:

My favorite crystal/mineral is the Desert Rose(Gypsum Selenite). They look like they have flat petals in a rose like pattern! I own a cluster and I will buy more in the future for my sand garden!

I've liked amethyst for quite a while (wow surprising i know) but right now i adore this piece of olive jade i got a few days ago while I was away on holiday, it's such a pretty stone (:

I adore opal and opalite. I love that each opal is unique. My sister and I inherited our grandfather's crystal collection which included a small matchbox of low quality opal and those are my favourites ❤️

Oh I have some desert rose! It looks so stunning despite being just a type of gypsum. I've also broken it multiple times due to how delicate the pieces are.

I wish I had pictures of my collection but most of it is in storage.

My favorite is amethyst. I love purple. Second is lapis lazuli. Who doesn't like blue? 😊

I have nostalgia-type feelings for Tigers Eye, thanks to a small collection I accumulated as a kid on multiple trips with my dad. Other than that, anything purple is bound to catch my eye.

I tend to favor blues, oranges, silver/metallic type colors . One's that I have particularly kept coming back to through my life have been Opals like the Fire Opals or Lightning Ridge Opals. I also like Moonstones, Aquamarines, Tanzanite & Quartz including in the "rough forms" ... to the old standard like Citrines and Sapphires. ( Star Sapphires ❤️

Malachite!

Its a shame it only has a hardness of 3 and requires special care. It would make such pretty jewelry if it weren't such a fussy stone.
