@ian bot checking is still happening on my account, it may also be an ip thing since my phone and other laptop doesn't have this issue.

What I had was:

"Performing security verification

Thankfully, it's gone now, because it blocked everything.

The phrasing of "your browser is either too old [..] or too new" is especially... fascinating. "Greetings, Goldilocks! What is the "just right" browser you've found under the Little Bear's bed?" Fashion is not only clothing, it's also browser brands and versions, and Cloudflare is the all-powerful critic o_O

Ah, a fellow "I want it zoomed the way I like, not the way you think is best"!
I swear some website developers believe a screen under 3000 pixels wide and 1500 tall* does not exist and can't imagine that people can't see half their buttons... which are zoom-resistant to boot :/

*I'm on desktop, not phone, so it's a landscape screen.

Same! Sometimes it loads like normal, and then other times it takes two minutes!

The bot check appears to have stopped on EC for now, in my case too, but I'm not sure it's fully over. Still, as others have said, the site has become so laggy (which hasn't happen before and I know it not my network as other simallair type sites load 100% fine) that when I do the click task(s), the lag can cause two clicks to load simultaneously, effectively causing the site to steal a click, so 3 click become 2 click to the site. With Egg Cave switching to EDT in just a few days, it puts HST players in a bit of a bind (since technically, though no fault of our own, Hawaii doesn't do daylight savings). Due to this, we are losing an hour and rollover, moves, at the worst time for us when that happens, which is 6pm HST, usually the end of work/dinner time for most. I barely made it, even with the 7pm the other day, because the lag was stealing clicks. I'm just glad the Cloudflare glitch didn't happen last month, when there were only 3 skip days. I've been trying to screen record to catch the site stealing clicks and stuff in action, but it's a bit of a memory hog, though.

I just fed a creature but it took ages to load, and when it finally did, a chocolate box pop up appeared! XD

Same problem, it's so laggy, sometimes clicking is smooth for few creatures then some just loads for much longer-like 4-6 or more seconds-

Should be fixed for the security checks.

Still working on laggy-ness, as it's being caused by auto feeders and bots. If you're using scripts or automated browser plugins, please stop. 😱

The lag actually hasn't been an issue for me for a day or two, just the checks. I don't use any bells or whistles in my browser, as I mostly visit from my phone so it's a straightforward experience for me. If I get any more checks, @Ian, would it be appropriate to open a ticket or would that not be helpful?

@Ian Hmm, does the site often have issues with a lot of auto feeders and scripts and such? Is there a way to track where it's originating?
(I'm realizing maybe feeding scripts and such aren't actually against the rules here? Playing another petsite game for over a decade that had strict rules against that sort of thing I guess I just assumed they weren't allowed here either.)

I don't know what "scripts or automated browser plugins" are. :/ I just use Brave browser (usually on tablet where I don't think I can even use plugins?) and do everything manually.

It wasn't boggy for me yesterday, but today I notice when visiting the page of someone who fed me that it's taking ages to load so I'm iffy about trying to feed, myself.

@heatherm19 there were a fair amount of auto feeders during double feed day, yes. To take advantage.

@tehuti88 trying to work on it, so it's faster! Hang in there.
