Beginning today, we are introducing a brand-new feature at Egg Cave: Wordle For Egg Cave! This phenomenon has swept the United States and the globe, as people have put their smarts to the test to see if they can correctly guess the 5-letter word in 6 tries or less. At Egg Cave, Wordle words will be generic or Egg Cave themed, so be prepared for all things Egg Cave to pop up as words.
As part of this new feature, completing the daily Wordle will become a NEW REQUIREMENT TO ENTER THE CAVE. You must successfully guess the word of the day in 6 tries or less otherwise you will NOT be able to enter the Cave or use any of your steal attempts that day. The Wordle will reset at 12 AM ECT every day and sharing the daily Wordle will result in a 7 day account suspension. Head on over to the Cave to give the first Wordle a try.
We hope that you'll learn to enjoy the new Wordles and won't get too upset if you don't get it that day. There's always tomorrow for another try and more Cave attempts, right?
The Wordy will be available in the Cave through April 7. Don't hate on it... it's a REAL CREATURE! What do you mean it's not a "real creature?" Wordle is life.
The legendary Onny and Squearth are returning this month—they're each 1000 CC. Get yours while supplies lasts. There is a new limit in the Cash Shop of adopting ONE unvaulted creature per minute. Please wait one minute before adopting another, if you intend to get multiple.
Remember that stock is released in waves based on the time of day. If you don't get something from the first wave, rest assured that there will be more stock released in chunks over the next 24 hours.

Just a completely serious suggestion, but I think the Wordle should have more detailed instructions on how to play. It’s like tic-tac-toe or tag; not everyone has played it before.

Otherwise I’m liking the new addition. As someone who lives for the thrill, a random, high-stakes puzzle is just what I need to start off my egg cave morning. It’s like having a test every single day. Looking forward to new games like sudoku and chess maybe appearing as well 😊

@tehuti88 I believe the Wordle will become even harder throughout the days if people keep successfully guessing it. Limiting people from the Cave will drive up the value of LEs and even cave commons, this, in turn, will encourage the spending of EC which balances the EC inflation

Plus, it will encourage spending and purchasing of CC so players can retry the Wordle/or bypass the Wordle game! 😃 Pay to play is an amazing route that all sites should take, heck, the donation center should start charging donators and donatees to obtain or give away their items

@lilacfox While buying CC is the easiest way to get those things, nobody absolutely has to spend real money on Eggcave. It takes some effort, but it is completely doable to trade for CC, or just the items/creatures themselves with EC or other creatures.

I have owned everything from cave commons to several Nyms at once, Onny, Tine (all before rerelease, of course), you name it. The only ones I never even tried for were Macbot and Doovoo. While it's true there was a lull in trading for the past few years or so, -c-

rereleases being, well, released, have made old Creatures (more) easily accessible again. You don't *have* to spend money, and I certainly wouldn't stress about it. This is a pet site, remember to play in a way YOU enjoy. ❤️

I do agree, it is 100% possible to play the game without spending money. 😊 I never once spent a dime on the game and even without past donations for my yearly raffle I ended up with almost $300 + worth of CSP.
You mostly just have to sell off release day pets, special release pets until you get up to 500cc, buy a CPS and hold onto it until it doubles to 1000CC use the 1000cc to buy 2 CPS and rinse and repeat.

@bone I wish it would of been done differently only because I had the letters but in the wrong order. Like if had only been egg cave creatures used for words. It literally could of been anything. Idk I'm just glad it was a prank thing.

@nut Goodness that is much better than my percentage, 86%! I've only played 21 games and my previous data was deleted which upset me greatly as it was at 100%. Today's word irked me greatly but I managed to get it on the 6th round.

I once read, well, I am pretty sure, I have read....... "It will not be allowed to buy re-released creatures to resell them and earn some CC or EC". So. I wonder, why is that allowed now? Thank you for the answer. (Lucky me, I got one Onny)
