Nooo,,,Garast

minnie298a • 25 Sep 2024, 12:11 AM

Does this mean they are now Maize Maze exclusives?

heatherm19 • 25 Sep 2024, 12:12 AM

@Ian I think it'd be really nice if we could have a little notice before something gets retired, so we can prioritize collecting them if we hadn't before.

valorieviolet • 25 Sep 2024, 1:30 AM

Garast items aren't even that old T^T

minnie298a • 25 Sep 2024, 1:32 AM

@heatherm19 These items have been given out for years during Oct via one of the Halloween fair games, the Maize Maze which costs 50 seeds and can be played once a day. Last year I won 14 plushies and 17 books. My take on this blog (hence my question) is they are now seasonal.

Giving no notice is so awesome, especially to new players like me lol.

shrimp • 25 Sep 2024, 3:36 AM

Also vouching that it would be really nice to get a notice (maybe 1 week?) for expired items @ian ! ❀️

shrimp • 25 Sep 2024, 3:44 AM

Also if anyone needs a garast plush please @ me! Also LF the 3rd volume of Wiggit Adventures :]

megamisama90 • 25 Sep 2024, 8:45 AM

Little sad to see Garast plushies go as it's one of the toys I like to use but then again whatever as I want items to retire and probably will forget this soon. Wishing older items would retire before the newer ones as @valorieviolet said. 😊

Agree that a notice in advance would be nice! I had a few in my shop and of course they were all gone by the time I woke up ;-;

snowywinter • 25 Sep 2024, 12:09 PM

Noooo... not the gators! *hugs* them goodbye. So glad I have a few. / And agree, really wish there was notices on items retiring.

dragrawr • 25 Sep 2024, 12:34 PM

The little guys ,,,

seraph • 25 Sep 2024, 1:16 PM

wow you guys complain a lot no matter what staff does lol

shrimp • 25 Sep 2024, 1:54 PM

@seraph I dont think its complaining as much as it constructive feedback? Aside from CC travels, items dont retire often and we get a notice in advance for those! It’s just be nice id the same was done for non-cc items :]

I honestly think notice is kinda silly. I always feel like its unfortunate when something retires, but we can hoard items in our strong rooms for a reason. And also there's a TON of items existing, I feel like we should cut back on many (1item per shop makes sense to me)

veritaspunk • 25 Sep 2024, 8:10 PM

I agree with them retiring, and at random. It simulates economic reality like those investing in amazon in the 90's. :-P I do think they could make them possible to obtain throughout events/tasks if not at random points in the year. It makes finding them a bit more exciting imo.

dragonii • 25 Sep 2024, 8:54 PM

Wwwaahh, not the wiggets adventures!!

minnie298a • 25 Sep 2024, 8:56 PM

The blog only says "retired from Main Shops". Since their introduction in Oct 2017, these plushies and books (plus 4 travels, the Willowisp candy dispensers and Haunlupe Ice creams) have been apart of the Maze prize pool for the Halloween Fair. So, unless that's changing .....

minnie298a • 25 Sep 2024, 8:56 PM

I'm also fine with no notice retiring for long term NPC shop items and cave commons. Even with galleries coming. There has been time to grab them, We have unlimited strongroom spaces. If you like something or care, grab it now.

redflipflap • 25 Sep 2024, 9:02 PM

@minnie298a I agree, I think it makes things kinda fun if there's a risk of items retiring. Besides, if some folks have them stored away and can add value to the item-trading market, yknow? 😊

dragiigy • 26 Sep 2024, 2:42 AM

Garast Plushies are still available in the toy shop 😊 Just got 4 of them

sparklefox • 26 Sep 2024, 4:34 AM

Personally, I'm not bothered about whether we get a notice for items or not. I do kinda agree that if you really cared about the item(s), you most likely would've owned at least one already. It's not like they were only in the shops for a week or something.

mysterymoon • 26 Sep 2024, 11:02 AM

Oh no ☹️

daisycat • 26 Sep 2024, 12:09 PM

"The follow items" ---> The following items

Ian • 26 Sep 2024, 2:03 PM
