A little disappointed about the Arnmnae inclusion despite not being in the poll, I know it should've been in the poll but it wasn't so really what *should* be released is the Ahjoon and Draqua. Draqua was what I wanted so badly, and it was actually--

@heatherm19 well last year arnmnae was in the poll, and it tied with either pixgog or clous for 2nd place so it was bumped out. I was really upset that it wasn't released when I felt it should have. idk there's not a great solution but I think it's because creatures with CRW-

-archive tags got removed from the voting which is why arnmnae wasn't added to this poll, WHICH IT SHOULD HAVE since we could vote for it last time. but probably since it wasn't caught until late, people already voted without it and it would have lost, again, if not for this

So @Ian, I've seen this happen a handful of times since the unvaulting voting started, that things are in the poll that shouldn't be or aren't in the poll when they should be. Any possibility of tweaking the way the site pulls the poll options so this *doesn't* keep happening?

@heatherm19 This has already happened. Rerelease polls are now only pulling creatures with only the CSP tag and no other.
Technically Pixgog and Clous should not have been on the list last year. But since they were and that Arnmnae literally tied with them for rerelease we decided to bring it back this year.

I feel like the Arnmnae would've won by a landslide anyway if it were included, so I'm not bothered. The Ahjoon, Draqua and Lunantis are some of my favourite creatures on the site, so I'm happy to see that at least one of those won.

Don't get me wrong, I'm almost certainly going to buy an Arnmnae (that old style artwork is just so interesting and unique!), just frustrated that for once the creature I voted for would've actually made it if going just by the poll results.

I also voted for Draqua. I believe, players who are spending CC for Eggcave should be a little more respected. And was Ahjoon not a CRW creature and should be released as Vend creature? Really sad about whole thing, @Ian.

But weren't Arnmnae/Pixgog/Clous CSP creatures only? Back then, CRW had some CSP only releases, if I remember that right. So it was correct that they were on the list last year, and incorrect that Arnmnae wasn't on it this year, I think? But they have the CRW tag too cause they-
-were part of that event. Just never in the cave

The results of the voting are as follows: Clous - 15.75% Pixgog - 13.01% One year ago, most players was for Clous and Pixgog. But this year, it doesnt matter, what we voted for. I feel so disapointed. In protest, next month I will not vote. My voice doesnt count anyway.

Side note @Ian. Is there any intention to add any of the QoL changes that many users have been suggesting for months [maybe years] now? I feel like nothing much has really changed with the goal of making the site easier to use or improve it for a really long time now.

@Ian It would be nice if it felt like the site as a whole is cared about more than releasing many eggs /travels a month that some users feel as if they don't want. I feel like there should be an end of the year poll for the player base to vote on where efforts should be put into.

I think I'd have been in favor of rereleasing Arnmnae on top of the 2 vote winners (since it was a draw last year), but at the same time that's a lot of CC for 1 month lol. I do also think that Arnmnae would have won if it was actually on the list anyways

@isis Looking at the blog from back when rereleases first started, for awhile there was actually 3 rereleased a month (I believe because the 3s were originally all released together?). So yeah, it's definitely not unprecedented to have 3 CSP rereleases in a month.

@bunnyshadow Honestly kinda agree. I'll always voice my support for this site, but it does kinda seem like certain things are just never addressed (like a much-wanted alternative to verify for users without cell phones..). And galleries supposedly coming but no updates?

Pretty sure the Arnmnae would've won in a landslide, and is a massively popular pick. The challenge with the poll options is that the system pulls from CSP-only, but as many have pointed out, throughout site history, there have been exceptions in the pattern

The biggest point of difficulty in unvaultings + poll options is that, earlier in the site's history, we did a lot more combined Cave + CSP releases. You'll notice that we don't really do that anymore, to keep lines clearer

I mean I'm happy with the arnmnae being rereleased yay but I do have to agree with some points others have made here. If arnmnae was going to be rereleased anyway, imo that should've been communicated earlier to avoid confusion about it not being on the list.

Mstake or injustice, whatever we call it, can be easily repaired. In January three rereleases: Arnmnae - @Ian choice Ahjoon - 23.71% Draqua - 20.62%

@heatherm19 Me as well, I've been on this site for 13 years and would love to see it flourish but it feels like (even now) @Ian chooses to ignore the majority of the users who have lingered while others quit due to the site having a severe lack of QoL improvements over the years.

i definitely agree with @/bunnyshadow, these releases are fine but generally the site has been pretty stagnant since my time here (minus the asteroid plot, which i miss every single day of my life) and i would have liked a lot of these qol updates others have suggested.
