Happy Lunar New Year to all of our players! This year, there won't be a new Lunar New Year creature but the Shengxiao is available again from the Cave for a limited time.
Find the Shengxiao in the Cave through February 28.

I really like this one, itβs so pretty and colorful. Glad for another chance to get one.
inkpelt • 5 Feb 2019, 12:32 AM
Awesome! Love chickens!
prairie • 5 Feb 2019, 12:50 AM
Was kinda hoping for a Year of the Pig creature. x3 Last year, I feel like the Lan fit the Year of the Dog.
calenlass • 5 Feb 2019, 12:59 AM
@prairie It would be nice if every year's Lunar New Year releases would reflect the animal of that year. That would be so cool.
cosmia • 5 Feb 2019, 1:16 AM
welcome back sheng β€οΈ
veritaspunk • 5 Feb 2019, 1:26 AM
@prairie @calenlass I wonder why they had to skip the pig for this year ? :/ ...
foxesthebest • 5 Feb 2019, 1:27 AM
wish there was a thing to stop people from feeding my creatures
prairie • 5 Feb 2019, 1:29 AM
@calenlass Yeah. x3 I'd really like that. It'd be cool if they only came on the year of that animal. (I know its a long wait, but then they'd gain value, and they can all appear in the VEND machine maybe on Nyrs, to give a shot at them when not in season)
@veritaspunk IDK. :cI'm going to miss it though, I'd love to see a pig creature, we don't have that many. Though maybe, just maybe? The year creature will be a pig? π (like jubaleen and cerberus)
veritaspunk • 5 Feb 2019, 1:36 AM
@prairie I really like your suggestion with the VEND Machine π
anarchy • 5 Feb 2019, 2:07 AM
I was hoping for a Pig creature but the Shengxiao is cute too!
prairie • 5 Feb 2019, 2:20 AM
@veritaspunk thanks! Maybe @ian would find the idea interesting? ;D I just think it'd be a good idea, because it's give newer users a good creature that'd be more valuable than just a typical seasonal. But all the same with VEND, you wouldn't have to wait 12WHOLEYEARSHOLYCOW.
prairie • 5 Feb 2019, 2:21 AM
Or Maybe they'd be a VEND exclusive, available for an amount of time during Lunar New year
pbarr • 5 Feb 2019, 2:57 AM
There should be more seasonal creatures, it gives us something more to look forward to every month of the year! π
sparklefox • 5 Feb 2019, 3:29 AM
Oh, I was hoping for a new creature. Oh well, it's nice to see this return again though.
murfijs • 5 Feb 2019, 4:37 AM
i thought there would be a pig based creature.because of the year of pig. but oh well βΉοΈ
telekinec • 5 Feb 2019, 7:26 AM
Iβm kind of disapointed. I was expecting a pig creature for the New Year...
moonweaver • 5 Feb 2019, 9:44 AM
Is the Lan also supposed to be out?
ethereality • 5 Feb 2019, 10:15 AM
@pbarr I disagree βΉοΈ I feel like seasonal creatures disincentives actually getting the creature because they will be back every year.
@prairie I like that idea π @Ian
And Happy Lunar New Year!
bgunny • 5 Feb 2019, 10:39 AM
I was hoping for a pig...but the sheng is nice.
aedia • 5 Feb 2019, 11:05 AM
@calenlass That would be cool if we could have an animal of the year!! π
This is a beautiful bird though! Love it too. π
chat • 5 Feb 2019, 11:22 AM
Thank you for giving those another chance getting a Shengxiao!
sackname • 5 Feb 2019, 12:08 PM
Happy Lunar New Year !!
panthersclaw • 5 Feb 2019, 9:11 PM
@prairie I was hoping for a Lunar new year pig creature too, since I was born on the year of the pig myself. A beautifully decorated pig/boar creature would have been nice. At least those who missed their chance to get the Shengxiao will be able to get it this year.
sybil_howlett • 6 Feb 2019, 6:38 AM
@moonweaver it seems it isn't out, the archive says seasonal, so maybe you get one? I'm really not sure, sorry.
jirachiwishmaker • 7 Feb 2019, 6:02 PM
Oh wow, thought it was gonna be a pig, but I was more hoping for it to be an awesome dragon too. But not being picky, the lil chicky is still cute!
iris1929578 • 7 Feb 2019, 10:27 PM
Anyone else born on year of the pig? πΈ yayyy
mysticgirl916 • 9 Feb 2019, 3:37 PM
I wanted one last year to go with my Lan, but I was lucky enough to get one a couple of days ago!
