Margot tugged her scarf higher up her neck as they entered into the cold winter air. Above them, the loudspeaker crackled. "Round one is now officially about to begin! First-rotation trainers, please proceed to your arenas!" the announcer said cheerily. Margot quickened her pace, reaching into her pocket to pull out her gloves.

" Oh Skitty what am I going to do with you..." Bella sighed returning the kitten to her Pokeball.
Bella then faced Cody,
"My names Bella Valenti."Bella replied.
"You should know better than to get Skitty excited, you said so yourself." Bella laughed crossing her arms.
She could hear Daniel snickering in the Background.

Meinfoo curiously left Zellers as her owner turned away to see where the 'MEYYAAH' came from. She hid behind a big vase and spotted a little Skitty.

Margot took her place next to Garrett, pulling her own gloves on. She nodded to the referee, signaling that they were ready to go. "Good luck," she told him without much emotion.

Melody tossed Spike a look from over her shoulder, and set down Flash, who gave her a, "I REALLY want to fight" look.
"Sorry, Flash, i've already picked the Pokemon i'm going to use in battle." Melody made up an excuse to not let him fight. Not that she didn't believe he couldn't fight, but felt that he would get hurt because... of her. He'd already gotten hurt once because she couldn't lead him into battle correctly. She didn't want it to happen again.
Sighing, Melody recalled Flash, and looked at Krow, nodding her head.
Without waiting for her partner, she strolled towards the arena.

Garett waited for the announcer's call. He had put Garchomp's Poke Ball in his jacket pocket, and was now putting his gloved hand into said pocket to send out the dragon-ground type straightaway.

The referee surveyed the scene, waved his flag, and did a quick read-through of the same rules they'd heard last time. Margot nodded slightly as he talked, anxious for the battle to begin.

"Trainers!" he said, raising his flag once more. "You may call your Pokemon. The battle begins with the first attack."

Margot reached for Ramses' Pokeball.

@silver_winged - I would think we'd be able to just fight a BIT, but it's whatever you think is right....

Melody grinned under her black jacket hood that she'd pulled up to hide most of her face(Not to mention it was COLD.), happy to start the fight.
She held out her Pokeball, and said loudly, making sure her voice boomed around the arena, "Sol, out!"
The Sneasal materialized out of the Pokeball, landing on the icy stadium floor, perfectly in his element.
Melody knew she had the advantage here, for Sol's clawed feet were MADE for ice and snow, meaning he'd be better at dodging and overall speed in the arena.

@taffy789 I just thought it might be more polite to not start fighting until @smilies's character calls out his Pokemon. ^^

"Ramses!" Margot bellowed, throwing his Pokeball far into the air for the crowd to see. "Let's go!" The Houndoom emerged in a flash of light, fiercely gripping the snowy ground with his claws. He bared his teeth and lashed his tail, exhaling mightily so that a large cloud of steam formed in front of his face. Still, he did not look at the Sneasel, instead trying to appeal to the crowd. Margot smiled slightly despite herself.

@stitches As a very brief statement: the team of Margot (me) and Garrett (@dragonstorm78) is about to battle the team of Melody (@taffy789) and Spike (@smilies). All the other trainers are currently waiting in the hall, talking with each other and watching the battle on the television sets. It would be a good idea for Xya to introduce himself to the other trainers.
