"Oh Arceus, he trained his Garchomp using numbered moves?Well that's just perfect." Daniel muttered while watching his Weavile manage to escape some of the Dragon rush wrath by jumping mid-air.
"Good,Weavile use Ice beam on Garchomp and the Surrounding area!"Daniel called out.
"Weav."Weavile replied charging a powerful Icebeam that glazed the field in thick ice,and then redirected the beam toward Garchomp.Thank god the weather was good today Daniel thought looking a the dark overcast,making him shiver.

Garett knew Weavile had had trouble escaping from the dragon-type's attack. That was good, it had obviously taken some damage. That's always a good thing.

However, he also knew that Garchomp wasn't a good dodger. She was good at charging in and firing a deadly attack, but had never been able to dodge well enough. This seemed to always be the death of her.

And now, an Ice Beam attack-- One that would be super-effective on her, as a dragon-type-- was coming straight for her.

"Gar!" She ducked down quickly, the beam grazing the fin on her back. The Land Shark Pokemon was shivering, although not obviously. She always wanted to appear strong. Garett had assumed it was an instinct of the species.

"Weavile ,Weav,vile!"Weavile huffed while skating over the preparing to crash into Garchomp with Dark pulse. Weavile swiftly skated over the ice,Weavile was use to this balancing skill from using it in contest appeal rounds before.
"Oh ya the contest is later..."Daniel thought to himself ,he would probally enter.

((OOC// Just in case I don't mention what attack it is in the post after doing a numbered attack... 1 is Dragon Rush, 2 is Sand Tomb, 3 is Shadow Claw, and 4 is Slash. Remember your characters don't know this.))

Garett angrily grunted. Daniel hadn't even let him get an attack in!

Garchomp had noticed the Dark Pulse coming from where Weavile was now. Standing up and shaking the ice off of the fin on her back, leaving a fine coat of frost, she looked quickly back at her trainer, clearly curious as what to do.

"Okay... Garchomp! Number four on Weavile, and make sure you dig in!" Garett knew the dragon-type loved it when he said that. Why, he wasn't sure. Maybe she had a morbid sense of humor.

As the Weavile skated on the puddle of ice that it had created over to Garchomp, the Land Shark Pokemon made a quick but reckless move which involved running, very quickly, onto the ice, and slashing the dark/ice-type with her sharp claws, but getting hit by the Dark Pulse in the process, leaving her to groan in pain.

Margot smirked, unalarmed. "Will-o-Wisp plus Dark Pulse." The Houndoom raced forward, breathing out ghost fire as he did. As the fire began to loop back around, he glanced slightly back at his trainer, looking for direction. "Dodge!" In a truly formidable maneuver, the Houndoom rolled to the side--out of the way of the fire, onto his back, and right back onto his feet, continuing to run. He pierced through the sheen of Psychic surrounding the Metagross like an arrow shooting through fog. With a vicious bark, he released the cloud of purple ghost fire, and then pushed it out in all directions with Dark Pulse. The Psychic crumbled away as the Dark Pulse made contact with it, corroding as if exposed to some strong acid. "You should know, Cody!" Margot called as the Will-o-Wisp flames raced toward his Metagross. "Dark types are immune to psychic moves!"

Over on the opposite arena, Margot caught a glimpse of Garrett's Garchomp and a Weavile battling--actively battling, this time. "So now it learns how to fight," she muttered, all but rolling her eyes.

"Weavile!" Weavile cried being thrusted backward onto the ice by Garchomp's critical Number one attack which Daniel guessed was a slash attack.
"Weav...vile."Weavile panted while rising up to his feet.
"Ok Weavile let's try this again, get a running start and knock Garchomp back using your Assist attack!"Daniel called out. Thank god Weavile had frosted the field earlier using a Icebeam attack which had left a thick ice skating rink for a field which should slow down the Garchomp.
"Weav!"Weavile quickly skated over the ice in such a manner that made him look like an Olympic speed skater,it was definitely contest worthy.
"Vile,Weav!"Weavile called ,assist attack thankfully turned out to be Fireblast which Weavile used while colliding with Garchomp.Daniel guessed it was Flygon's fire blast.

"Metaaa"Metagross growled at the burn willowisp had left.
"Ok Metagross let's catch up! Use Earthquake!"Cody shouted out.
"Meta!!!!"Metagross shouted while viciously stomped at the ground causing an earthquake.Cody figured the best way to fight this battle would be to stay as faraway as possible and use long distance attacks.Houndoom had a very low defense but was very fast ,by using earthquake houndoom couldn't avoid the critical attack.Yet...Metagross was a psychic type and Psychic was in it's move set.Maybe t the best thing to make of this move was to use resources to make Psychic useful...

Solley found a seat in the coordinators room with all the other contestants. She directed her attention to the Battle competition on the tv.
Solley sighed and turned away but snapped back taking a double take.
"What Daniel ...her brother?!? In a battle competition?!?I thought he was more a coordinator show off type.." Solley murmured to herself.

Garett grinned slightly. The Assist attack had turned out to be Fire Blast, which wasn't bad, seeing as his Garchomp had a slight resistance to the fire type.

"Archoo!" Garchomp yelped as the fire touched her underside, although it melted the residue frost on her fin.

Making a quick move, even without Garett's approval (although she doubted he would be bothered), Garchomp let out a quick Number Three... or Shadow Claw.

Ghastly energy swirled around the dragon/ground-type's left claw as she dug it into the Weavile.

At least at this rate Garchomp's mobility was limited...

"Weavile..."Weavile replied struggling to form a ice beam at first but managing a strong attack that zipped across the field looking like it at least pounded Garchomp's chest.

@hedwig68 You're welcome to join as well. As @dragonstorm78 said, the battling tournament is almost over so you can't join that, but the contests are still taking entries and we have a plot planned for afterwards.

On another note, sorry for kind of disappearing. ^^; I just got done with finals, so I've been super busy all week, and celebrating all weekend.

Garchomp wailed, the Ice Beam had hit her right in the chest. After skidding back to her side, it was clear she was very weak.

"Garchomp! Are you okay?" Garett called to the weakened Land Shark Pokemon.

"... raar... choo... garchomp..." Slowly, the dragon/ground-type got up. The ice had frozen on her chest, making it look rather odd. She didn't seem to notice, but was still weak.

Garett wasn't sure what to do. He could either let her battle to her fainting, or recall her now so she could regain strength eventually. The announcer would likely call her fainted after the next attack anyway. The trainer grinned slightly, and knew that Garchomp would only like one thing: To stay out until her fainting.

"Okay, Garchomp!" Garett called now. "Let's go out with a bang, try Number One, and FAST!"

Her eyes focused on the Weavile. Snarling evilly, she ran toward the dark/ice-type and let out a powerful Dragon Rush.

Margot's eyes widened with fear as the word earthquake rang from Cody's mouth. A physical ground move with that much proximity could mean an instant knockout. "Run!" she hollered at her Houndoom, who continued to race--not away--but straight toward the Metagross. Her eyes flashed, an incredulous smile just touching her lips. "Jump!"

The fire-type leaped through the air, just barely avoiding the first piece of ground to ripple out from under his feet. He soared the last few yards, landing upon the Metagross. Even with his sharp claws and powerful limbs, the metallic surface of the Pokemon was difficult to hold onto; Ramses scrabbled for purchase, trying to get to the flat top of the Pokemon.

"Flamethrower!" Margot ordered, tone turning vicious.

"come on out Flame", he said throwing his pokeball that his partner, Flame his Cyndiquil, was in. "Watch these pokemon Flame you can learn something from them." Sirius told Flame.

Daniel smirked, "Number one huh?" this is all too familiar, "Weavile lets get one last attack in there and tie this up!"
Weavile gave an identical smirk in return of Daniels as he took off down the field at full speed charging up his final critical attack,"Weavile use Dark pulse!"Weavile collided head on with the Dragon pokemon and the Dragon rush attack,while letting loose a dark aura which made the audience shudder with suspense.
"Tch,dramatic much?"Daniel muttered to himself, his Weavile was such a theatrical performer.
Weavile shot Daniel a glance as saying 'Yes,yes I am.'

Then Cody was struck with an idea, Metagross..The IRON LEG pokemon...Cody shifted his hat which had been knocked off by Metagross' previous earthquake attack.
"Metagross use Hammer Arm full power!!!" Cody called out to his wincing pokemon.
"Meta.."Metagross replied lifting a frightful huge iron arm upward which started glowing a silvery white color.
"Gross!!"Metagross swung his Iron arm bashing into Houndoom as a Baseball player would swing a baseball bat.

James jumped off of his Pidgeot giving him a quick treat and returning him to his Pokeball. James smiled his pokemon had dropped him off in front of Snowpoint city's contest hall.
"Hey Bella,long time no see,you look very formal for contest." James walked up to his sister and another trainer who was frozen with a big smile on her face.

"Keep low!" Margot shouted down the field at her Pokemon. She wasn't quite sure how the Metagross was able to maneuver its arm on top of its back, but it struck at Ramses, who had ducked low while still mercilessly breathing fire. The attack clipped his back; he tumbled from the Metagross, spewing fire for a ways before rolling to his feet. Ramses barked once, defiant, baring his teeth.

"Hold your ground," Margot ordered, frowning slightly as she thought through strategy. That move must have hurt Ramses, due to the type match-up, but he wouldn't dare to show any sign of weakness. The question was how much. Cody couldn't have been EV training; the fact that Psychic and Hammer Arm were on the same set attested to that. The move didn't receive any type reinforcement, either. If she recalled, Hammer Arm would reduce Metagross' speed . . .

The slight pause was good for Ramses; his breathing seemed to be leveling out, and his focus returning. "Get in there, now!" she ordered, voice low enough that Cody would have a hard time hearing. "Hidden Power, Dark Pulse, retreat. Fast as you can."

The Houndoom raced forward, already shooting rust-colored orbs of light at the Metagross.
