Frosslass caught Skitty as it bounced around. Frosslass glided over to see this interesting pokemon.
Janet feverishly called," Let's go Elli."
Elli, disappointed followed Janet to the stage. There, they waited.

Cloud ran to the stands to watch the coordinating contest with intent eyes. Pokemon Coordinating was her only true passion, her hobby. She could feel her Pokemon balls rumbling with excitement, eager to watch. She quietly released Froslass, Umbreon, Gardevoir, Skarmory, Gliscor and Ninetails to watch the contest. Ninetails howled with anticipation.

Feeling her confidence, she took a step and called out with sweetness,"Elli, time to thrill!"

Elli burst out with little snowflakes around her then they disappeared.

"Alright, Elli use Blizzard!" Janet called adrenaline rushed through her.

Elli swished around twirling gracefull as she a massive cold storm wooshed around her. The blizzard swirled into a magnificent column and elli's twirled inside of it.

Elli stopped twirling,even though the column didn't, and as if she were praying, produced a round black sphere, which she kissed and threw up into the column The sphere rose then hit the top, causing the column to explode and the snowflake bits a bit purple. they drifted omniously around Elli. She winked at the Haunter gagaing her. JAnet whispered,"Start running around and use Icy wind!"
elli whooshed around, ice forming around the stage and powerful winds blowing. When She stopped, a circle and jagged pieces of ice stood around her.

"Grah..." Garchomp's cry of pain faded out as she fainted, clumsily collapsing onto the ground.

"Garchomp is unable to battle! Weavile is unable to battle! Send our your next Pokemon, trainers!" The referee called to Garett and Daniel.

"I'll wait to see who Daniel sends out first," Garett thought.

Margot frowned; Ramses' time was about up. But Superpower? That was an awfully good selection--for her. Braviary was Cody's last Pokemon, and with impaired attack AND defense . . . "Stand your ground, and Flamethrower!" As the Houndoom was about to hit, he breathed a column of fire out in front of him, and then was promptly struck by Superpower. The Houndoom crashed to his side and slid across the ice, unconscious.

Margot lifted her Houndoom's Pokeball, returning him. Originally, she'd wanted to run Digit last, but the Braviary would present a problem--Porygon-Z's defense was nothing to brag about, and Cody seemed to favor flying up high as a strategy. (Additionally, Digit had a habit of getting distracted.) Also, the Pokemon she now had in mind hadn't seen any battles all day. He'd be a complete surprise, and that was never a bad thing. "Icarus!" she shouted, plucking the Pokeball from her belt and tossing it up in one fluid motion, catching it in her upturned hand. "Up and at 'em!"

The Skarmory appeared in a flash of red and silver, already in the air and racing for Braviary. He wasn't the fastest Pokemon she had, but he could certainly give that ball of feathers a run for his money. The real focal point of Icarus was his rock-solid defense; but she wouldn't tell Cody that. The Steel-type tipped his wings to the side suddenly, and began spinning like a high-power drill with a glowing white beak. Drill Peck was their standard entry move, unless otherwise specified.

Garett grinned. He actually had something to counter the Swampert, although he didn't have a grass-type.

"Go! Gallade!" He said, throwing a Luxury Ball from his belt up into the air.

Out of the red light came the fighting/psychic-type Pokemon. He was standing there upright, not striking an awesome pose like most Gallade would.

"Okay, let's take the first attack! Give number one your all!" He said. Garett hoped it wouldn't take Daniel too long to figure out the numbers this time.

"Gal." The swordsman Pokemon thought for a moment, staying perfectly still. Then, he swiftly jumped over to the water/ground-type and landed a powerful Leaf Blade on his back.

Daniel smirked,"Swampert hang on,Use yawn on Gallade!"Daniel called

Swampert spun around toward Gallade and ,"Swaaahhmp." Swampert yawned as a big fluffy cloud appeared and popped on Gallade's facevmaking him drowsy ,in one turn he would be asleep.

"Gaaal... gaaalaaade." He yawned, and Garett flinched. He had never thought Yawn useful, but boy, when it was being used against you...

"Okay, Gallade! Make this the best Leaf Blade you've ever done, and TRY TO STAY AWAKE!" Garett called to his Pokemon, completely forgetting about attack numbers.

"Gaaal." He didn't even bother with a strategy this time, as he went over to the Swampert and slashed him quickly.

Braviary followed instructions swiftly flapping his winds pulling him in the opposite direction of Skarmory ,Braviary used his hidden attack which turned out to be electric,(that's what it is in my pokemon black game :/ )Hopefully knocking Skarmory back since Braviary had great speed at redirecting attacks.

Harley watched silently from the coordinator room thinking about Janet's appeal, "Not to shabby Sweetiepie,of course it's nothing compared to yours truly The Harley."He muttered to himself while looking over to see that pesky girl Bella talk with some other boy who kept glancing over at Harley,"Time to manipulate!"Harley grinned
"Oh yooo-whoo! Bella! over here my little Sugarplum!"Harley sang skipping over toward Bella and her friends
"I'm sooo very sorry about what I said,oh pweaty please won't you forgive me?"Harley sniffed while laughing on the inside.

Daniel stepped in front of Bella and his sister glaring at Harley."And you are?"Daniel asked flatly.Daniel was clearly suspicious of this guy first of all he had purple hair Nd a Cacturne outfit on but there was something about his character and the way he spoke to Bella which made him seem like an enemy and very sly.

Icarus redirected to keep in front of the Braviary. He plunged straight through the Hidden Power, deflecting the yellow Hidden Power orbs through the sheer speed of the attack. With a slight screech, the Skarmory redoubled his speed, shooting like a bullet toward the Braviary with his Drill Peck attack.

Garett gritted his teeth. The Swampert, such a heavy and what he thought of as a clumsy Pokemon, was easily dodging the Leaf Blade. That wasn't right!

"Gal... lade..." Gallade had been able to put in a single, half-hearted Leaf Blade before the Yawn took over, making him slump over in the middle of the field, but not before moving slightly away from Swampert.

"And this is Daniel,my little brother I told you about."Solley said facing Daniel and shooting him a look as if saying it's ok we have it under control.
Solley looked back to Harley "So how have you been?"She asked the purple haired coordinator calmly.

"Swaaamp.."Swampert groaned being hit by the last Leaf blade.Swampert was usually very good apwhen it came to having one task,like performing a move or dodging he was able to perform it with ease perfectly but he must have been distracted.
Daniel examined where Gallade had fallen asleep,"Swampert use Earthquake!Make fierce too!"Daniel added
"Swamp!"SwMpert replied stomping vigoriously at the ground sending massive ripples through the battlefield causing the unconscious pokemon to be thrown about.

Cody hefted his teeth,he must have token some damage from the hidden power..."Braviary use Brave bird to counter it!"Cody signaled his partner to swoop under as he became cloaked in harsh light.
Braviary tried to swoop but got nailed by drill peck causing him to flee upward and swoop downward on the pokemon,Braviary swooped down and hit Skarmory hard with Bravebird sending him toward the ground as Braviary pushed him downward."Now Braviary use hidden power once more!"Cody added as the two birds neared toward the ground.
Braviary let loose the Hidden power attack.

Garett couldn't help but be happy that the trainers had special platforms to protect them from attacks like this.

He grit his teeth while shouting, quite loudly, "GALLADE! WAKE UP!" over and over again. Regrettably, it wasn't working. Garett hoped that the thoughtful Pokemon would wake up soon enough.

"Good thing it's not a Darkrai on the field," Garett thought.
