Well. Blaine knew how to make Nine happy now. He hovered beside the shuttle.
There was one seat next to the driver, three sets of two, and then a three at the back.
He decided to be a gentleman and let the ladies go first.
He didn't need to. Raven pushed past him and nicked the back window seat.

Jade nudged Kaylie aside with her arms crossed and took the middle set of two seats, staring out the window, not making eye contact.

Annabell slid into a seat in the middle, while Zach slid into a backseat, not caring who he was by.
He was humming, "Singing in the Rain" almost a bit cheerfully while checking that he still had the concealed knives, of both poisionous and nonpoisonous variety hidden away carefully.

Jade put on her earphones and started listening to songs peacefully.
But as she looked over and counted the seat numbers, and estimated the number of people coming on, there were exactly enough people to fill all seats.
Jade sighed. Someone had to sit next to her, and all she knew was it wasn't gonna be Kaylie or Raven because she was first to push her way into the back seat.

Kaylie analyzed her choices. She didn't want to sit infront nor behind Jade's row, so she slid into the backseat next to Zach.
"Hi." said Kaylie as she settled herself in.

Raven scowled and looked pointedly out the window.

~ At the Orphanage ~
"God, I hate this dump," the first kid burst out angrily. "How long do we have to stay here, anyway?" They glared at the others expectantly.
"Who, me? No clue," another said cheerfully.
The first one sighed in frustration, desperately wanting to break something. Unfortunately, breaking the second one's neck was off the agenda. They turned the third person in the room.
The third person was staring into the distance. That one was such a weirdo, worse that the other. At least you could hold a conversation, even if not a particularly intelligent one with her. But this newbie, they'd barely said a word. The first character wondered where they'd came from, before gaining a ranking, he meant. They'd just... Turned up.
And been given a higher ranking than him. A complete newcomer, who never said a word... It was enough to make anyone snap.
So they'd challenged the newbie to a fight...
The person winced from the memory.

"Hey." Zach replied, not bothering to look up at Kaylie.
"Oh Shadow? Mind if we trade spots? I get car sick real easy." he called out to Raven.
Actually, that was only a semi lie.
He'd hadn't been in a car enough times to remember if he did get car sick or not. So, he might.
But he did want the window seat.
And to annoy Raven, who seemed to avoiding him, so it was really killing two birds with one stone.

"Hell yeah I mind! Haven't you heard that if you get carsick, you sit at the front of the bus? Shoo." She went back to her window. In your face, she thought.

Blaine took the seat next to Annabell, but didn't say anything.

Zach stood up.
"Okay, then. I should get go- Oh no! The bus is moving! I'm falling!" he said the last part in such an exaggerated way, you knew he didn't really fall.
Also, the fact the bus hadn't even started moving yet helped with that idea.
Zach tried then to smash Raven's face into the window, using the back of her head to "Catch" himself as he "fell".

"If you break the window, I'll make sure you are broken into the exact same number of pieces," Evie said slowly, without turning around.

Kaylie decided she'd have a peek at Jade.
The possession was in my hands anyways, she thought.
"Save my seat." Kaylie told nobody as Zach was trying to smush Raven's face in the window.
As she walked up the aisle, she suddenly tripped and flung her arm out for the nearest support, and that was Jade's head.
And Jade's head collided with the window, hard but not hard to break the surface, Kaylie fell into the seat next to Jade.

Jade snapped around furiously, grabbed a fistful of Kaylie's hair, and swung her directly into the seat infront of her. And Jade made the break for it.
BY A MILLISECOND, she was too late to snatch up the diary when Kaylie kicked her foot out and the impact hurt. These girls fought fouler than demons with hands as Jade seized the opportunity to slap Kaylie.

Zach paused, then sat down, but not before slapping Raven lightly in the back of the head.
He doubted the glass would break after a face got smashed into it, (Then again, it seemed likely that the bus was shabby, and the glass was weak, or that Raven was really hard headed.) but you didn't need intutition to tell that Nine was dead serious.
Nine seemed like one NOT to mess with, and Zach was rather fond of not being broken into little Zach Fragments.

Raven didn't even notice the slap, she was busy wondering if there was anywhere to buy popcorn nearby.

Evie pondered various inventive threats, but she honestly didn't give a [yeep], so she let them be. It would, after all, make their story look more convincing.

Col sighed loudly, but didn't bother. He always had plenty of suicide missions left at IOD, and could send them back at any time.

Blaine jumped up to help Kaylie, and attempted to freeze Jade solid.

Jade saw it come just in time and rolled over off the seat and onto the ground.

Kaylie didn't have a flying fling what was coming at her but she thrust her palms forward and a stream of gushing water shot out, inaccurately at the ice beam, hopefully hitting the ice, but a more likely chance soaking Blaine.

Jade crawled out and holding a touch sensitive fire arrow behind her back just in case, shouted at Blaine.
"What the heck man? She started it! I'm pretty sure you just met her too. PLUS, we go way back to Super School. Like, POSSIBLY shared one....or two... conversations. But we had a few mutual friends right? Like. Rosalie."
Jabbing a cruel finger at Kaylie when she was mentioned.

Blaine froze the water and carelessly let it drop to floor. He shrugged. "She's on my team." He didn't really remember this other girl anyway... Her name was... Um... Yeah... Then he went back to his seat.

The bus had started moving now. Raven watched the town city away and tapped out a slow, rhythmic beat on the window.

Annabell raised an eyebrow at Blaine as he returned to his seat, silently questioning him on what just happened.

Zach watched the fight with intrest.
After it was over, he elbowed Raven in the ribs, and then whispered silently.
"That seems like the fights between those two will happen a lot. Wanna make it intresting? I got fifty on Opal Honey Badger knocking Mermaid out with a punch to the face. And I got twenty on that they're fighting over a guy."
Zach liked betting on future events with people. He couldn't exactly fortell it, because people were constantly changing, along with their actions. So it came as a total suprise to him, which was always a nice change of pace.

"Kaylie and... Jade, were fighting." Yeah, that was her name.

Raven snorted. "Done," she said.

@trish - Yay~ 😃 (The betting on people part? XD )

Zach smirked, and leaned back into his seat, waiting to see what happened next. He'd collected a prett big sum of money over the months, and being seventy bucks down wouldn't hurt him... Well, except for his pride. Maybe.

"Yeah, but why intervene?" Annabell questioned Blaine, raising her eyebrow quizzically.

Blaine paused. He didn't really know. "I guess... I don't want a team member to get hurt," he said lamely.

"Clearly, that 20 bill belongs to me now. We're not fighting over a GUY, pft, how pathetic is that? Cough it up." Jade smiled, looking right at Zach.

@smilies The betting. X) I had a bad day today. </3

Zach rolled his eyes.
"First off, I didn't make the bet with you. But, if you INSIST."
He reached into his pocket, pulled out a quarter, and tossed it in Jade's direction.
"You owe me a nickle." he commented helpfully.

"That's it, of course." ,Annabell remarked almost sarcastically, teasing Blaine, "Then again, I've seen the puppy look before, so you're not fooling me, you liar."
Smiling, she then started to look out the window, drifting off.
'Ah, love. Too bad that is out of the question for me.'
A tight fist closed around her heart, and she drifted even deeper into her own thoughts.

@Trish Aw, I'm sorry ☚ī¸ If it makes you feel any better, I totally failed my science, and my friends are pretty happy with theirs, and they hate science and are quitting, whereas I need to do well cause I wanna do it next year... ><

"That's not how it works," Raven rolled her eyes. Not like she really needed the money. 20 bucks was nothing, so she didn't really care.

"Puppy look?" It took Blaine a moment. "Oh. No." He knew if he protested she'd just be more convinced, so he let it slide. "What do you mean?" He questioned the last sentence.

"Never was too good at Math." Jade shrugged and took the quarter and tossed back a crumpled up piece of paper. "I can buy one piece of candy with this." Jade cheered.

Kaylie fixed herself up after that revolting thing Jade attacked her.
And boo, here she was again.
"What?!?" Kaylie fixed a devilish stare on her.
"I want my book back." Jade simply answered, eyes cold.
Hey, people who knew Jade would never believe she said that. "It's mine too." she added.

Kaylie pursed her lips and stared.

A long pause.

"Where did you learn these moves?" she finally hissed out.
"Look, it's my property and I choose not to give out the information, since you've probably read most of it. Give it back now." And without consent, Jade snatched it back and walked back to her seat.

@trish - XD "I can buy candy with this!" x3

"I just didn't want to be fourty down." Zach explained, and tossed a crumpled twenty in her direction.
"Make sure you aim for the face Opal!" he then shouted from his seat as Kaylie and Jade confronted again, not paying attention to the conversation.

"Puppy. You know like the..."
Annabell made her eyes go wide and focused on the seat in front of her, like a dog staring at a bone, or a piece of bacon.
She then paused, and laughed.
"Okay, I admit, I haven't really seen THAT ONE on you yet, but I did see the second one, the hurt expression once they make a mean comment, like someone just kicked a puppy in the face. Trust me, I've seen it before."
Annabell paused, then flipped her hair in a jokingly concieted way, which wasn't that impressive with her new haircut, before continuing, "I even had it used on me a few times, but not to brag, or anything. Nobody I was ever intrested in, though."

Blaine laughed. He knew the first one all too well, but her demonstration was funny. The second, he'd no idea. Had he actually looked like that? "But really," he insisted. "I'm not... Interested- in anybody." He leaned back in the fairly uncomfortable leather seat and looked at the ceiling.

The shuttle lurched to a halt. They were parked infront of a square, dirty, grey building. The windows were so covered in grime you couldn't see in. Graffiti covered the little brick wall. There was a little patch of dying grass out the front, for the record.

"Oh. How beautiful the city of Strasbourg is." Jade sarcastically said, smiling.
"Oh look! What a sight! Someone snap a picture of that!" Jade gasped mock cheerfully and pointed to a rusty can with a picture of a real pretty Strasbourg on it.
