Many people have that reaction to FR because it's surprisingly addictive. You breed dragons, dress them up, fight in the coliseum, get bonuses from Dominance and the community is pretty nice.

I don't have Windows 8 and I'm not looking forward to ever owning it. It's not built for computers and everyone I know complains about it

Oh gosh tonight I'm going out and I look exactly like my twin except for my blonde streak in my hair. It's normally rather easy to tell us apart but lately I'm just looking more like her. Oh well, the sooner I leave the sooner it's over.

i use the windows 8 to play various games i couldn't play on mac ( curse u mac ;~; ) and finally get osu beatmaps and skins. i use a mouse to play standard instead of using w8's touchscreen because it doesn't work well. i decided to stop playing CtB doing that and can do easy and normal beatmaps. might get a tablet when i have money ;~;

Oh man I forgot to copy all of my Osu! beatmaps. Ahh well, I probably won't re-download it (my computer hard drive failed a few months ago and I had to get a new computer)

Has anyone ever looked up their own religion on the Wikipedia? and started to read it, finding that it is pretty accurate until one a section says things that Is so wrong on so many levels and is just so untrue it's stupid?

Yeah, just had to get that off my chest. Ahem...

It weird that one of My friends here on EC told me about FR June last year just before they left and now Everyone knows about it. .-.

Religion is always... difficult to discuss online and on Wikipedia anyone can change the writing. One reason why this annoys me is that a very mean person changed the writing on Steve Irwin's (a much loved Australian) Wikipedia page and basically called him a fool and that he deserved what happened to him.

I did a little search on websites to see how I found Flight Rising and I discovered that I found it on EggCave but I forgot about the registration window. Over a year later I rediscover it from friends on another website.

FR is increasing in popularity and I've seen more people join it than quit. I wonder if it will ever rival Neopets popularity (but then I ask that about every website that I see potential in)

@nightmaremoon I have windows 8.1 and I don't think my laptop would even try to open it XD Needing a faster processot also doesn't help for me (I want to buy more PC games and download off of Steam but my laptop won't even handle Viva Piñata without lagging).

How is someone supposed to revise for their GCSE exams when they have to go into school and waste time on subjects they aren't being assessed on (PE and L4L) and also waste time getting there/getting home, and not being able to use 'revision sessions' efficiently because the environment isn't suitable and an hour isn't long enough before being shuffled to another room -.- Study leave doesn't begin until May 8th, y'know...three days before the first exam. I'm trying to make the best of it but three hours every evening when I am exhausted from 7 hours of school is all I can do ;.;

(It's better to explain via a message, though, because then I can explain and if you have questions, you can ask there!)
I immortalized my featured in under a week!

Homestuck is reaching the end!!

I started reading last year, before school started, and now it's ending quite quickly!

What I learned from "CALIBORN'S MASTERPIECE, ACT 6 ACT 6 ACT 5," is
A part of Gamzee's half is Lord English, whilst the rest are Caliborn and Horses.
Jake is the first to defeat Caliborn.
Caliborn is amazing.
Caliborn changed his name to Lord English because he got intrest in Jake English, therefore changing his name.
Homestuck will have a final "normal act," and will end shortly later. Seeing that everyone who has died from Aranea from dooming the timeline is alive, I can guess that they will all be alive, as John will be relieved of seeing them again. The rest will be confused, not knowing what happened (or kinda knows).
The other half of Gamzee might create Calmasis, who is possibly the adult version of her trollsona, but that is just a guess.
If I sum it up, Lord English = AR, Equius, Robot Horses, 1/2 Gamzee, and other ColoUrs and Mayhem* has to offer.

*Caliborn's planet is the land of Colours and Mayhem, named after the album with the same name with of course, CALLIOPE'S QUIRK. NICE JOB, GAME.
Also because Callie said the same thing when talking to Jane for the first time.

I was doing Akinator and guessed a few Homestuck trolls. The trolls I guessed were Vriska, Nepeta, and Meenah.

I might do Karkat next and see if Akinator guesses the crab.

I know this is off-topic but I was wondering about something earlier: am I only the one who associates certain names with colors? I associate names that I've never known anybody by with colors. For example, I associate the name Claire with the color blue, I've never known anybody named Claire. I don't think it's synesthesia, after all it's only with some names. But, if I was told to name, let's say, a red ink pen (I know this sounds ridiculous, who would name an ink pen? It was the first object that came to mind) chances are it would be Ricky. Black, Jennifer. Pink, Rebecca. I can only think of very few, but I was wondering if others also associated certain colors with names. Also, if I was asked what color I thought best suited a name, I probably could answer somewhat quickly. Are most people like this?

Nothing is off-topic here! This thread is basically the anything-that-comes-across-your-mind-but-you-don't-want-to-make-a-thread thread.

Like, Courage the Cowardly dog is getting a reboot and so is the PowerPuff Girls. Or I saw a firetruck today heading towards my University and I started to wonder if it was another false alarm or a drill.

I don't associate people with colours but sometimes I will associate names with people. E.g. with the name Jack I think of a tall blond (blond for male and blonde for female) basketball player. It's not uncommon for people to associate one thing with another though.

Some nice happy music would be po pi po (Hatsune Miku), Hatsune Miku's head excercises, Double Rainbow (Kaito) and PonPonPon (Kyari Pamyu Pamyu)

I 100% recommend Double Rainbow because it's just so stupid and hilarious at the same time. It's one of the greatest Vocaloid songs in the "stupid and hilarious but you will love it" genre. I can't think of any other up-beat songs.

Today I discovered that I missed the new FNAF song from the Living Tombstone. It was released last week! I'm happy to say that I understand what it's referencing in the game!

I was also watching the Game Theorist's video on the FNAF universe which was rather interesting.

To be honest, the third FNAF let me down because it was all luck based (I like strategy so I feel like I have actually achieved something by completing the later nights). However, this looks super interesting, it's no wonder Halloween is the date given. In a way, I'm glad the franchise will end soon; it's had its time but I think it's been milked to near death by this point.

14 days to my first GCSE exam, not looking forward to the next two months :/

I thought that the third one was the least luck-based as you were able to control Snap-Trap to an extent. It's technically not milked as the story is still incomplete. If it was a completely different story-line then I would consider it milked. But the story must be finished with this last game!!!

I knew there was going to be another game as soon as the third game was out. The end is complete but the start of the story isn't. Or maybe they will decide that instead of a game, the movie will substitute the start instead!!

Golly golly gosh I'm just excited for both!!! The movie, what is it going to be about? Will it surround the animatronics or make us fall in love with the Phone Guy or the security guard.

Or would the movie go through different security guards lives so we can see the jump scares of the animatronics. But then where would it be set? Would it be set in the very first building with Freddy and Snap-trap or in the other buildings with all the other animatronics.

Will it explain how Balloon Boy and the marionette exist in this strange story because so far it's all just theories with very little proof!! We're aware that there are other deaths but Balloon Boy still doesn't fit in the mix!

And the biggest question of all... who is the killer? Or will the fourth game answer all of our questions!
