"In that case, I shouldn't have to remind you of them," Vienna muttered to herself as Damien left. She made sure to listen for the click of the door behind him.

She was slightly relieved to hear that the boy--Reno, the cage said--thought he could stand. The way he flung himself out of the cage was entirely too hasty, and she all but gasped as he crashed to the floor. "Don't move," she said immediately, holding her hands flat in front of her as a communicative gesture. Sparing a quick glance out the fiberglass door pane, she found that the stretcher had not yet arrived. With an involuntarily desperate sigh, she bent down to pick the boy up. After all, he wasn't that old, and the gene splice should have made him lighter.

"I don't think I've ever been called nice," she muttered in response to Aria as she tried to pick the boy up.

Kira Looked up at Vienna "Why?" she said softly as a man yelled at the mutant to get her out of here. the mutant did what he was told and took her to a different room as she was taken she dint take her eyes off of Vienna she repeated her self over and over "Why?"
"Why?" "Why?"

"Just Shut Up!" she other mutant said and crashed her cage up agents a wall "You Never Just Shut Up Like The Others!"
"Clam Down" the man said to the mutant but he dint lesson Just slammed her cage agents a wall again and again
"Help..." Kira said softly blood dripped from her cage as her banged it on the wall "Please..."

Thankfully, the boy didn't weigh all that much. She probably could have carried him all the way to the Hospital Wing, even if the stretcher didn't come to meet her. "Try to keep calm," she told him, trying to adjust the weight in her arms without jostling him too much. "Focus on taking deep breaths."

Vienna ignored the first part of the girl's comment, instead making her way toward the door. Her heels clicked sharply--the sound always gave her movement a sense of purpose. It was only when the girl finished speaking that Vienna's head snapped to the side, a slightly alarmed expression dancing in her wide eyes. "Let's not say the 'd' word, okay?" she reminded the girl with a grimace. With a bit of struggle, she began punching her code into the keypad next to the door, her shoulders trembling with strain.

Aria just sat there and listening to the sound of the women's boots clicking. It was like a heart beat, always with the same rythm. She listening as it got more and more far away, meaning to her that Reno was closer and closer to safety. Aria did not really the word 'die', because it brought back many bad memories.

She cuddled to herself and tried to forget this haunting word, echoing in her head. Aria sobbed a bit, to let out this fear. She thought crying was essential to life, it was like releasing all your pains and fears, without having to destroy or hurt anyone.

She thinks this is why people are so violent to others, since they almost never cry, and keep all their emotions bottled up. And then, when the 'bottle' overflows, people can get angry and hurt others. For nothing.

The Mutant slammed her cage on the ground then put it back in place where it was in the room with the other cages "That will teach you!" he growled and stomped off
Kira's body was laying limp in her cage her wings covered her broken body. Blood dripped from the cage onto the cold floor. No one looked over no one cared no one moved she just lay, forgotten, unconscious.

Aria then saw as a Mutant kicked a cage. She then saw a poor, helpless body lying there on the cold stone ground. "Hey! Someone! Help her!" she shouted, banging the sides of her cage. Aria wished she could do something, but the metal bars of her cage stopped her from helping Kira.

A dull tone rumbled from the keypad at the door, and the spaces between its keys flashed red. A series of offensive terms flashed through her head as she hoisted the boy up against her knee, rolled her shoulder awkwardly so that her hand could freely reach the keypad, and quickly punched in the series of numbers.

The keypad bleated gently, and the spaces between its keys flashed green. There was a soft click as the door unlocked itself. She pawed at the handle, freeing the door, before allowed the boy to fall back into her arms. Less than gracefully, she used her feet to pry the door further open, before she hopped through and closed it in a similar manner. Although she'd never admit it, there was a singular second where she thought she'd fall; balancing on one foot in heeled boots with another person's weight distributed unevenly on you isn't a recipe for steadiness.

Vienna crossed the hall as quickly as she could, the tapping of her shoes ringing clearly. After a few moments, however, the sound of another struggle drowned it out--it was the melodramatic girl from before, now the victim to some unprofessional conduct. "You and you," she practically snarled at the two. "Behave yourselves. One of you is going to wheel her to the hospital wing behind me, and the other is going to make themselves scarce before I have their pay docked."

Vienna paused for a moment. Her first instinct was to not respond at all--typically, informing a subject that their health was in serious danger would only create panic. Still, ignoring him might have the same effect. Her second thought was to lie, but really that would only frighten him when they arrived in the Hospital Wing. Best to tell him, she decided with a frown. "We're just taking a short trip to the Hospital," she said in as light a tone as she could manage. "That was a nasty fall you took there, and we're just going to make sure you're all right." Well, that part was a bit of a lie, but it wasn't going to hurt him.

Kira's wings moved slightly revealing her bleeding side from a large gash. Kira looked up her green eyes were faded from pain "Why..." she mouthed and sat up before she could sit all the way up she winced and fell back on her back, She swore under her breath and closed her eyes laying motionless.

Suddenly, a static tone crackled from Vienna's waist. She all but cursed, before reminding herself that the boy was with her. Someone was responding to her by communicator.

"Requesting immediate response to 4A-2."

Vienna stopped dead in her tracks. That was the room they had come from. She pushed up against a wall, balancing Reno against it while she drew the walkie-talkie from her belt.

"Subject is in compromised health and needs immediate transport," the device continued.

"Affirmative," Vienna replied, trying desperately to hide the cold irritation in her voice. "Responding now." She didn't bother to replace the communicator; instead, she fixed the boy back in her arms and began running back toward the room as fast as her heels would take her. "We're just taking a quick detour," she said hastily to Reno, flashing him an entirely false smile.

Vienna again punched her code into the door, forcefully willing herself to slow down lest she have to enter it again and waste more time.

The girl did look awful; blunt force trauma to abdominal region, Vienna guessed. Noting her wings, the girl most likely had some broken ribs, due to her light avian bone structure. "Can you hear me?" she asked, closing the door behind her with her boot. "Please try to remain conscious."

Kira opened her eyes a little then saw the white coat she scrambled to the back of the cage not caring how much it hurt, she had to get away "What do you want?" she said her voice was rough it sounded though she hadn't spoken in days. She held her side tightly "Or are you going to give me more shots to see if i mutate" she said her eyes were filled with fear and rage "Just kill us now!"

Aria saw as Vienna took the injured girl. She sighed and put her arms around her knees and waited if someone would come.

Damien realised that Vienna was gone. So, he went to Aria's cage and whispered, "Well, I think you are the only experiment alive and NOT injured."

Well, Vienna (silver's charrie) brought Reno (sstwins's charrie) and Kira (carter's charrie) to the Hospital, since Reno had some case ( I forgot) and Kira was injured. Aria (my charrie) is in her cage, waiting. 😋

@bunnyshadow Reno is acting crazy, so Vienna worried and is taking him to the hospital. Same subjects who were escaped are still escaped. Same subjects who were in cages are still in cages, except for Reno (see above). Kira was roughed up by some scientists and is in health trouble.

Vienna had to consciously try not to look exasperated when she turned to Sylvia. "If you could find which cage is yours," she said as she crossed the room to Kira's cage, "that would be great. And then get in it. I promise I will reward you with something later--food, books, whatever--but right now I have a lot to handle, so please just bear with me."

The injured girl was awake and moving. That was a good sign. "Calm down," Vienna urged, although her body language wasn't exactly tranquil. "You need to keep calm, or you'll just hurt yourself more. Please, just lie still, and take deep breaths . . . "

She paused for a moment, hesitating, and then laid Reno on top of the girl's cage. Moving around so that she wasn't directly opposite either of their feet, she wheeled the cage off the wall and headed toward the door. "I'll be back," she assured the others, punching her code hastily. As soon as the keypad made an affirmative noise, she flung the door open and wheeled the two injured subjects out. "Where on earth is that stretcher?" she thought to herself with a frown.

Kira pushed her back agents the back of the cage she turned to the other side of the room and saw the stretcher she pointed "There..." she said then looked back at Vienna. Kira held her side her whole arm was covered in blood and her wings looked terrible. Some of her feathers fell around her cage. she saw some of the feathers and thought of the time one of her experiment friends told her about mutating "Once you mutate once, they to it to you again and again, just to see what happens..." she thought not saying another word.

Aria looked up to the girl who talked to her. She saw some wolf ears, along with some black feathered wings. Aria looked at herself and thought, "Wow, that girl looks a bit like me. Except I have a tiny muzzle and my wings are not feathery." Aria then said, "Oh, hi."

@carter I put her thoughts in quotation marks, too. Unless she's a mind reader, Kira can only respond to what Vienna physically says. X3 Or communicates through expressions or whatever.

"Please lie still," Vienna insisted, jogging slightly as she wheeled the two down the hallway. Despite the near crisis state their wing was in, the halls were as silent as the dead, except for the squeaking of the cage's wheels and the rhythmic tap of her shoes.

Slowing down a bit to make a left turn, Vienna glanced down at the two. Reno seemed to be stable, but Kira was looking paler, probably due to blood loss. "If you can," she instructed, "apply pressure on the wound with your hands." Glancing back over her shoulder, Vienna noted the trail of blood droplets left in their wake. She had a sinking feeling she'd be cleaning it up later. Luckily, the hospital wasn't too far; it was just another short ways, and up the elevator . . .

Kira sat as still as she could but dint hold her wound "I cant..." she said quietly "My shoulder is dislocated..." she dint say about her other arm she just covered it with her wing. She looked at the empty halls "Its gotten allot quieter scene i was last here..." she said "They normally just kept me in storage..." she then added "Ive ben here all my life..." but she whispered it for some reason as if it was a big secret

"I said lie still," Vienna repeated for what had to be the third time, slowing as they reached the elevator. She noted that the lock had been activated--good. After punching in her code, she hit the up button and waited for the elevator to arrive.

"Try to be quiet and just focus on breathing," she insisted after a moment, shifting her feet with agitation as they waited. Honestly, she'd just wanted the girl to shut up, but that wasn't appropriate language. She counted the passing seconds, staring into the eyes of her own dull reflection in the stainless steel door.

With a gentle ping, the elevator doors opened. She pushed the cage in, grimacing as it rocked over the gap between the floor and elevator, jostling the two subjects. Due to the nature of the establishment, there was plenty of room for all of them--in fact, they probably could have fit another cage, possibly two. She selected the third floor and leaned back against the wall as the doors slid shut. "Are you feeling any different?" she asked Reno, noting that he hadn't said anything in a while.
