@carter"You are not going to die," Vienna replied with exasperation, letting more of her weight fall to the wall as her shoulders slumped. She was beginning to wonder what ELSE would go wrong today; it was as if a karmic hurricane had chosen today to wreak havoc on her life. "And I'm not going to kill you!" she choked out through clenched teeth. She battled against her rising anger. "Please give me ONE reason I'd be inclined to kill you. I'm curious to know exactly what you're thinking." The venomous words slipped from her mouth before she could check them. "I am stopping in the middle of a crisis to take you to the hospital wing, rather than calling a medic to come get you. In fact, I was halfway to the hospital with this kid, but I went BACK to get YOU. Don't you understand that?"
carter • 10 March 2012 at 7:31 PM
@silver_wingedKira looked down at her arm "You just wasted your time" she said then looked up with a smile "You and i both know i could never live through this" she unfolded her wings revealing actualy hwo bad it was "I'll die by morning." She sighed "If you would be in a cage sence the time you were born, you would understand." she folded in her wings carefully but had to fold them with her hands they were bleeding and alot of feathers were missing "Thanks for the help, but i still think you've wasted your time."

@carterVienna had to stop and wonder why she'd expected this girl to behave any differently than before. She shook her head, lowering her head into her hands for a moment, before looking up as the girl began to move around. "How many times do I have to tell you to hold still?" Her tone was tired now, the anger quickly sapping from her expression. The elevator reached its destination with a ping. Vienna flung herself off the wall, grabbing the cage and wheeling it out as fast as she could manage. After a quick jog down the hall, she reached the Hospital Wing. One of the other scientists stepped aside to hold the door open for her. "That's against protocol!" she shouted as she passed through, shooting the man a glare. It was a hard right turn to the emergency wing. "I need an examination room," she called out to the on-duty staff. "And the girl needs an operating room. Severe blunt force trauma to the abdominal region, dislocated shoulder, broken ribs and wing bones. Might need a blood transfusion." One of the medical staff approached to take the cage. She scooped the boy back up into her arms, allowing them to retrieve it.

@silver_wingedOooh! Nice description! 😃

@chapus2009 Thanks! ^^ I've always really liked African Wild Dogs, haha. They're so pretty! http://www.africa-wildlife-detective.com/images/African-wild-dog-4.jpg-The door to the experiment holding swung open, crashing as it collided with the opposite wall. Two uniformed scientists proceeded through the doorway, guiding by the shoulders what seemed to be another subject. He was resisting as much as he possibly could, dragging his feet against the ground, trying to catch his feet on the cages, and making vicious snarling noises. It was quite the struggle to throw the boy into his cage, and he immediately slammed back against the door, knocking one of the scientists from it. There was a tense moment where it seemed he might scrabble out again, managing to get one arm through. The second scientist withdrew an electroshock device from his belt.The boy seemed to change his mind. He shuffled backward, pressing his arm against his body, while the scientist fixed a new lock on the cage. As the man stood to leave, the subject bared his teeth, shooting the man one last glare. The two scientists left quietly.The boy lay there for a moment, breathing heavily, his gaze fixed on the door. His ears, however, seemed to pick up another noise, swiveling to face Aria. He then turned his head, and a startled look crossed his face. "Are you all right?" he asked with concern. His voice was raw, as if he'd been shouting.
chapus • 12 March 2012 at 6:59 PM
"Y-yeah, I'm fine. You should be more worried about yourself..." Aria said.@silver_wingedI also LOVE African dogs. ❤️
silver_winged • 14 March 2012 at 6:08 PM
@chapus2009"I'm fine," Lance muttered quickly, lowering his arm to his side. "I just . . . got shocked once today. I don't need to again." He exhaled deeply, almost snorting, to try and still his shaking hands. The adrenaline from the near escape had not quite faded. "Did you . . . get out?" he asked now, eyes fixed on the bottom of his own cage.
chapus • 14 March 2012 at 6:12 PM
"No... Never. It must hurt to be shocked. I once had my wing ripped and twisted. It almost took a year to heal..." Aria sighed. She shrivered at the momery of her injuries.@silver_winged Yah! Your back! 😃
silver_winged • 14 March 2012 at 6:16 PM
@chapus2009 I meant to reply earlier, but I kind of forgot. XD Sorry."It didn't-" he started, reflexively beginning to deny the pain of the experience. He stopped, however, realizing the falsehood of such a statement. Another quiet moment went by as he closed his eyes and took a calming breath. As he breathed in, however, his nose wrinkled slightly and his eyes narrowed. "Smells like blood in here," he said darkly, eyes falling to the patch of red on the tile floor.
chapus • 14 March 2012 at 6:20 PM
"Oh! Looks like someone was injured..." Aria said, looking were Lance was looking.@silver_wingedHaha, it's ok. I have a RP like this one, except some thing are different and it's about Pokemon.
silver_winged • 14 March 2012 at 6:24 PM
@chapus2009He sighed, attempting to force the acrid smell out of his nose. Now that he was aware of it, however, it seemed to linger. "Whoever they were, they're not there anymore," he mumbled to himself, perhaps too softly for her to hear."Have we met?" he asked suddenly, looking over at her. His dark eyes reflected the fluorescent ceiling lights.((I have a Pokemon roleplay too! Except it's normal, and it has been pretty quiet lately. X3 Oh well. I think I saw yours on the Livepulse at one point.))
chapus • 14 March 2012 at 6:27 PM
@silver_winged I have 5 Pokemon RPs. #1,#2 (dead), #3, #4 and PokeMutants. 😋
silver_winged • 14 March 2012 at 6:31 PM
@chapus2009Lance's eyes flickered to the side to avoid an awkward exchange, but he certainly had noticed Aria's slip-up. He chose not to address it. "No," he said finally, shaking his head slightly. "No, we've never met. You, ah . . . you smell unfamiliar." His inhuman ability seemed to embarrass him a bit, and his eyes fell to the floor of the cage once again. "I'm Lance," he introduced, nodding slightly.
chapus • 14 March 2012 at 7:02 PM
"Oh. I'm Aria, sadly, I don't think we have met before." she said, smiling.@silver_winged
silver_winged • 14 March 2012 at 7:12 PM
@chapus2009"Well it's good to meet you now, I guess," he responded, now looking toward the door. "Have they found anyone else yet?" he asked. There was a sense of shame in the question; he felt miserable that he had been the first one caught.
chapus • 14 March 2012 at 7:14 PM
"Well, I haven't been in this place for a long while, so I don't know if they did catch anyone. But I guess they did." Aria sighed.@silver_winged
silver_winged • 14 March 2012 at 9:13 PM
@chapus2009With a frown, Lance turned his gaze back to her. There was worry in his eyes. "I can't believe they need more of us," he all but growled. "There are so many already."In an almost distracted manner, he reached out and grasped the lock outside his cage. After flipping it over to get a better look, he found it to be a combination lock; since he'd broken the one built into his cage, they'd probably had to find a spare at the last minute. His eyes narrowed slightly with concentration. "I wonder . . . " he murmured to himself, turning it slightly and listening to the mechanism click.
chapus • 14 March 2012 at 9:57 PM
Aria saw Lance quickly turned the lock. "True... But I'm asking myself, what is the point to the experiments?"@silver_winged
silver_winged • 14 March 2012 at 10:37 PM
@chapus2009 I think we might be the only ones left in this roleplay. XD"Shh," he said suddenly, perhaps a bit too sharply. He spun the lock two complete turns, and then pressed his ear against its cool metal back as he began to turn it clockwise.With his fine canine hearing, he could hear the clicking gears in the little device, and a shift in its inner mechanisms when he reached a 28. His shoulders tensed and a startled look came over his face as he now slowly turned it counterclockwise, listening for a similar sound. Sure enough, as it struck 37, it made another small click. His expression was grave as he spun it clockwise once more, straining his ears.There was an audible click as it reached 4. Tentatively, he tugged on the bottom of the lock. It slid open.
chapus • 15 March 2012 at 5:14 PM
@silver_winged I think if we pinged the others, they might come back. 😋 @carterAria silently watched as Lance unlocked the lock. She was impressed.
