@bunnyshadowI'll take someone.Grace watched as Sylvia returned with a blood stained sword. It wasn't a bad idea. Most people were sleeping. Maybe she should help take care of some of the competition. Water was first, though. She repeated,"Who knows what plants aren't poisonous?"

Jamie woke up from a nap in her hollow tree and stood up. She smiled evilly, it was nighttime and it was time for her to kill. She crept through the trees and soon sensed another presence nearby. As she walked forward she saw her, a girl around her age with pitch black hair that was in a braid. She had her back facing Jamie and didn't seem to give any sign of knowing about Jamie's presence. This would be easy, Jamie thought and began to silently creep forward. She was about a foot from the girl when the girl turned her head. She tried to grab her weapon but it was to late, Jamie stabbed her through the heart and there was one sickening scream before all was silent and Kara was dead, her whole body now covered in blood. A cannon fired and Jamie disappeared back into the shadows.@graceseggs@bunnyshadow@lola622f

"Oh, good! Anything around here would be great," Grace said. She slipped the arrow she was holding back into the sheath. She didn't need it yet. She put the bow around her shoulder and waited patiently for a reply.@linpugI waited too long, unfortunately. I had to do extra work and read pages of replies. D:

Alex had heard a noise and turned into a dog. She could now here it clear as day: it was the scream of a girl. Then the cannon fired, she turned back to herself and said, "Well one girl is down too. I wonder whom it was." She said with a curious expression. Joseph nodded agreeing with Alex as he heard the cannon.@bunnyshadow XD@lola622f@graceseggs

@bunnyshadow Aye-aye, captain. -Phoebe staggered back from the corpse of the massive bat. Her breathing was wild with fear, and her slender hands flew to her side. She located the wound with her fingers, and hissed in a breath with pain as her fingers made contact with it. Thinking of the wine in her backpack, she began to swing it over her shoulder, when a dry leaf crinkled. It was the most minuscule sound, but it rang loudly in Phoebe's terrified ears. She wrenched the dagger from the head of the beast and faced the source of the noise: one of the other supernaturals. Before she fully knew what she was doing, she was sprinting to the girl with her knife raised. The black-haired girl turned and fled into the forest, but her clumsy footsteps could very well have been rescue flares. Phoebe stayed close behind, eyes completely shut.A high root protruded from the forest ground, hidden by the night and by surrounding foliage. The girl tripped on it, and struck the floor, and then Phoebe was on top of her, pinning the girl to the ground with her knee. She slashed once with the dagger. Her skin slit far more easily than the creature's did.A cannon sounded.

@silver_winged~~~Kenny was sitting under a tree when a girl tripped on the roots. Phoebe slashed the girl to death and Kenny watched with an disturbed expression. He got up and put his hands on Phoebes shoulders. "Are you ok?" , he whispered.

@bunnyshadowPhoebe sat over the body for a moment, her chest shuddering up and down. Suddenly, someone grabbed her by the shoulders. She whirled around, slamming them back with her elbow. With forceful footsteps she rammed the two of them into a tree, pointing her dagger at their heart. Then, she recognized the face of the emo boy in the dark. His expression was perturbed, but certainly not murderous. He held no weapon. Phoebe stood there for a moment. The tip of the dagger drifted in rough circles from her trembling hand. Then, she pressed her face into his chest, and the tears began to leak from her eyes. She choked out a sob as she gripped his shoulder with her free hand, while her other hand pressed the flat edge of the dagger against his chest.

@silver_winged that made me cry x( poor phoebe.~~~Surprised by the quickness of Phoebes movements he froze. He kept his eyes on the dagger she held while watching her closely when she paused. When Phoebe started to cry, he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close. "It's ok..", he whispered.

X3 Also I'm back home, so now it won't take me a year and a half to reply.-Phoebe's whole body shook, and she tightened her grip on the boy's shoulder as she felt her fingers slipping. For the first time since her name had been called for the games, her guard was down fully and completely. Her shoulders fell as her muscles lost tension, and she simply allowed herself this one moment to cry.Had the boy wanted to, part of her alarmed her, he could knife her in the back without the slightest of difficulty. Part of her would have been fine with that. Phoebe's shame and guilt were overwhelming: she'd been scared, she'd lost control, it was all so rapid and so easy . . ."I've k-killed someone," she sputtered miserably. Even warped by sobs, her voice still carried a musical cadence. Her tears had soaked a patch in the boy's shirt, and she realized with burning abashedness that she was ruining the shirt of a boy whose name she did not know.

"She's better off dead. Now she won't have to deal with this hell." While waiting for his words to soak in, he added,"It wasn't your fault.". An black bird fluttered down and landed on a tree branch behind Phoebe. He could tell by the purewhite eyes that it was an mutation. Was it deadly...? He lowered his gaze from the bird, so as not to scare Phoebe. Out of the corner of his eyes, he spotted more of them starting to perch in the tree. In a few seconds there was an entire flock.~~~dundundun... XD

@bunnyshadow *pats on back* I know, I heard.-"But I did," she sobbed in protest. Her shoulders wobbled as she sobbed again, and her throat closed so tightly that she could barely force words through it. "I was s-so scared from that . . . from that thing . . . and when I heard her, I just . . . " Her words broke like waves as they traveled toward her lips, and then trickled from her eyes.A collection of bizarre sounds was finally enough to force Phoebe's head up. Her grey eyes were red, as well as her nose and cheeks. Her nose had run as she had cried, and she found herself embarrassed for this too. The bloody dagger had left a streak against the boy's shirt. She turned her head sharply, her eyes expressing nothing but worry. A flock of birds had gathered on a tree, gazing at them with ghostly white eyes. How they had amassed so quickly, Phoebe did not know, but she found herself growing uncomfortable. She had already faced one of the island's abominations, and she was worried she may have to fight another within the same hour. Her dagger wouldn't do much against a rapidly-moving flock of birds.

@silver_winged âšī¸~~~Kenny took Phoebes hand. "It's fine, i recignize those birds.", he lied. He could tell she was nervous and didn't want her to make any sudden movements. He took a step forward, careful not to step on any twigs.

@bunnyshadow Everything's gonna' be fine. c:-Phoebe felt the boy take her hand, though she felt detached, as if her hand was separate from her body. Her shoulders had tightened with the stress, and they relaxed again at the boy's assurance that they weren't in danger. "What do they do?" she asked, leaning forward slightly to get a better look at them.They were handsome birds, the size of a large crow, with glossy black feathers and a charming three-feather crest. Their feet were meant for perching, she noticed, by the curve of their toes. They made a soft chittering noise rather than a true chirp. Most iconic, though, were their eyes: they were pure white, like a sheet of paper. Phoebe couldn't distinguish any pupil. She wasn't sure they had any. Were they blind?

@silver_winged~~~One of the large birds opened it's mouth to rveal jagged teeth in the beak. "Try not to get to close.... They ...", Kenny trailed off as he tugged Phoebe away from the one that opened it's mouth. He stepped on a branch in the process and a large crack echoed. The birds started squawking and a couple flew in the air before leaning down in steep dives. He cursed under his breath and pulled Phoebe away. "Run!"

@sstwins They can run into Pepper if you like. I could see a pretty scary alliance between the three of them. XD@bunnyshadow-Phoebe was still admiring the birds when one of them opened its beak. It was lined with gleaming white crocodile-like fangs. Suddenly, she didn't think they were as harmless as the boy made them out to be. She moved to the side with him as they backed away from the fanged bird, and then . . . CRACK! The sound was louder in her ears than most, and she jumped. He had stepped on a branch.Several birds took to the air, squawking and beating their broad black wings. Then, they began to dive, but by that time Phoebe was already running out into the forest. Her hand was still in the other boy's."Head for the beach!" she told him, running toward where the trees grew thinner. If the birds were territorial, leaving their forest might get them to go away. If not, then they'd simply have better luck fighting them in an open setting, where the creatures couldn't hide.
