Pepper saw a girl with blondish hair running towards him. She was dragging a boy with black hair. Oh great. He waited until they ran past him, then made the plants around them form a mesh. "You're in my territory." He growled.

Kenny ran towards the beach and stopped when he reached the water. The birds seemed to have stopped chasing them and were flapping their wings in mid air. "Are you ok?", je asked Phoebe.

Phoebe bounded through the forest, her hand locked on the dark-haired boy's to ensure he kept up. The birds remained in pursuit, cawing and squawking as they wove through the trees. Phoebe noticed another boy nearby; she sprinted right past him, intending not to give him another look. However, the plants suddenly closed in front of them, and they were trapped.

She whirled around. Her eyes were still red from when she had been crying, and shone with violent volatility. "Those birds are after us," she growled, jabbing in their direction with her dagger. They were coming closer, she could tell by the sound they were making. "They'll get you too."

The birds cawings and squawkings suddenly retreated. Kenny made an motion to stay quiet, because the birds were blind and depended entirely on hearing. When they finally seemed to have dissapeared he let out a sigh of relief, then faced the boy who caused the plants to form an wire mesh. "This is an island. There is no territory...", he said slowly then turned to Phoebe. He let go of her hand and rubbed his palm to get the blood flowing again. Either he held on to tight, or Phoebe. "We should find some water."

Joseph looked around and said, "I wonder where everyone is hiding. I mean there can't be that many good places to hide."

Alex looked around and said, "I wonder where Jamie is. I have a suspicion that she is closer then we think."

Joseph nodded, "But the real question is: Where is the water?"

At that moment a dagger flew through the air and landed centimeters from Alex's leg. Joseph jumped slightly at the sudden appearance of the knife.

Cynthia(head gamemaker) pushed a button in the control room. Other gamemakers lounged around either drunk, sleeping or thinking of new things to send in the arena. The button caused one of the crates that were in a tree to crash down onto the ground.

Sylvia dipped her cupped hands into the water. "I don't care, I'm thirsty.", she said blandly. She looked at the liquid in her palms and poured it in her mouth. It burned her thoat and she rubbed scrunched up her face. "Gross.."

Alex nodded, "I told you I sensed Jamie." A voice laughed and said, "Well aren't you all smart." She stepped out of the bushes. Her form was glowing and she said, "Boys drop your weapons." Joseph had no time to look away and instantly dropped his sword.

Joseph picked up his sword and swung it at Alex.

Jamie kept her power bright and watched the action.

Alex continued to dodge Joseph's blows. He stabbed at her and she caught the blow with her sword though there was still a small cut that ran up her arm. She had to get close enough so that she could whisper something but had no luck.

Jamie shook her head and said, her form now almost blindingly bright, "They are the enemy, you must attack the enemy." He voice was slow.

Joseph was becoming confused and the moment he glanced at the two girls Alex grabbed his shoulder. She whispered something in his ear and he shook his head. He then pointed his sword at Jamie.
