@leafpelt @jupiter_hollowMargot stood still as she watched the playback, pressing her face close to the screen so she could hear. Her eyes widened in disbelief as the names began. "Banner," she repeated, incredulous. "Stark. Natasha." Her arms fell to her sides as she turned to face the other two. "Dr. Bruce Banner. Tony Stark. Natasha . . . Romanov." She paused a moment in a struggle to remember the woman's name. "These are the Avengers."A commotion down the block caught her attention. It sounded like loud, heavy footsteps crashing down onto the asphalt. They became quieter in a moment, but not before Margot snapped closed the camcorder and shoved it into her satchel. "We have to go," she said hastily, heading for the door. "We can finish this later." Margot merely listened for the others' footsteps rather than watching to make sure they followed as she dashed through the office, toward the stairs.

@silver_winged@skylark~~~Sylvia frowned and sat down again. A small sigh escaped her lips. She concentrated on the ropes that tied her legs together, and again, a small trail of smoke appeared. One of the guards turned and glared at her. He pulled out a gun and started waving it around at her face. "Don't try anything!", he said in a gruff tone.Sylvia narrowed her eyes and attempted to elbow him. She failed miserably.

@bunnyshadow Speakth of the Bun, and she shall cometh back!xD~~~Andrew heard a voice... faintly, but there. He located it and made his way to it. "Crud, crud, crud." he murmured to himself inside his suit. "How the crap am I going to get her out of there without disrupting the whole neighbourhood and start another war?" He exhaled slowly, and turned another corner. The building that he heard and saw Sylvia in, was the only one of the two that still had a roof. The one guard, who looked really frightened for a spilt second, went inside probably to get another guard. "Stupid," Andrew said silently. He turned and started climbing the only other building that had a roof. When he reached the top, he silently stepped across the top of it. Moving with extreme care, he stepped onto the roof of Sylvia's prison and climbed on. He stuck his pinky finger into a hole in the roof, and filled the building with a knockout gas that puts you down in 5 seconds.
meixiaotian • 10 June 2012 at 10:00 PM
Sylpha smelled smoke. Weak smoke, nobody else would notice, but she, of all people, would know smoke. When she got frustrated, her hands always emitted it. Suddenly, whatever was being looked at by everyone inside the building was snapped back away. She looked back to the building and saw a guy on top of the building. Well, it was another interesting night. She sank back against the wall, under the window.
bunnyshadow • 10 June 2012 at 10:20 PM
@skylark IM BACK :]~~~Sylvia heard a slight noise up on the roof. She looked up suspiciously. What could it be?, she wondered to herself. After a while she looked up and saw the men collapsing on the ground. Before another thought could cross her mind, she to blacked out.
leafpelt • 10 June 2012 at 10:30 PM
@silver_winged @jupiter_hollowFrost just couldn't talk. All her life, she had been wondering, Are there really Avengers?, but this video had proven everything. "The Avengers..did exist." she murmured. Her parents' lives were lost because of this cause. Her throat felt hard to swallow."I think we need to find the Avengers."
skylark • 10 June 2012 at 10:40 PM
@bunnyshadow YAY! Good job (:~~~~Andrew saw a figure a ways from where he was, but quickly forgot about it as he only had 20 seconds to get Sylvia out of there. Punching through the weak roof, he fell through and crushed whoever was directly below him. Sylvia, passed out in the corner, was drugged and bound. Andrew grabbed her and hoisted her on his shoulder, and jumped again. The second jump was on another person's head, and he died immediately without any pain. Andrew shifted Sylvia a bit, grunting. Again he jumped, higher and further, away from this disaster pit. People were shouting now, finding what Andrew had done. He winced inwardly as another jump took him back to the main street. The next one was the roof of an apartment building and he kept going, taking the long way around to Loki's mansion so no one would follow him. When he reached the road he slowed his jumping, and tripped when the guards ran up to him.Sinking onto his knees from exhaustion, the last sight he saw was Sylvia's face.
bunnyshadow • 10 June 2012 at 10:45 PM
@skylark~~~When Sylvia woke, she looked up to see an white ceiling. She was in her room, on her bed. She wondered who brought her here after she thought of the men. She sighed. "I'm nothing but a pain.", she said to herself. She wondered if her father found out, and winced at the thought. She got out of bed, and quickly brushed her hair and put on clean clothing before opening the door to the corridor.

@leafpelt @jupiter_hollowMargot audibly scoffed. "Of course the Avengers existed!" she shouted. This statement echoed down the empty stairwell, repeating itself four times before it died away. Her first instinct was to discard Frost's idea outright. Nobody had heard anything from the Avengers since the year 2020, when Loki proclaimed his ultimate victory. Some of them were without a doubt dead--Margot couldn't remember which ones. Some, however, had seemed to disappear without a trace. Her parents had once said, in hushed tones and in the company of friends, that Loki was holding some of them captive. This explanation seemed plausible, but it would mean that the Avengers had been in their own backyard the entire time. Margot's mind was drawn to Thor. If he really was as godlike as the older workers remembered him to be, then Loki couldn't have killed him. Bringing him back would be a large step for them, but Margot had to wonder--how?Going on a wild goose chase for a group of legally dead superheroes wasn't a good idea, in her mind. But she was interested in learning more about them. "Didn't Stark have his headquarters here in Manhattan?" Margot wondered out loud, offering it as a sort of reply to Frost. She thought she might have seen it once, on one of her late night scavenging trips. "I say we head there for starters."

He hates being noticed and being teased about his round statue. He is a pessimistic, and tends to overdramatize the itty bitty things. More loyal then most people, he would rather die for his friends then his friends die for him. Terribly awful at running, it's a surprise he made it this far.Appearance: Black skin, big brown eyes slightly covered by shaggy black hair. He stands at about 5"4, and has a round stomach. His hands are lighter then his skin, and pinker. His white teeth clash with his dark lips. Aaron's nose is small, making his face look like it's pinched all the time.History: Nope. Other(?): N/A #chickyAaron heard the shout of commotion come from the deserted area, and ran in the opposite direction. Sweat trickled down his back, and he breathed harshly and loudly. "Ahhh, come on! There's gotta be somewhere to hide..." He grunted, trying to fit into a garbage pail. When that failed, he found a large cardboard box and hid under that, against the wall. ~~~When Andrew woke up again, it was just before sunrise. He stretched and drank some water, wishing he wasn't so easily tired. Rubbing his eyes, he stepped out into the hallway and started for the breakfast room.

@silver_winged @jupiter_hollowFrost nodded. She recalled seeing those headquarters one night when she was running in the city. "Problem is," she said, "How are we going to get there? There's a commotion down there, and we can't exactly climb down with Aizel's foot like this."Frost absently fingered her clip. It was a habit for her when she was thinking. Finding the Avengers sounded like idiotic nonsense-after all, their disappearance was the reason Loki even ruled in the first place, but still...if they found anybody of the Avengers left, it would be worth it. Was it worth the false hope?, Frost thought.~~~~Hate it when we cant italize the words.

@skylark~~~Sylvia was just about to go back inside her room when she saw Andrew down the corridor. She had asked an chitauri a few moments ago what happened, and had gotten a plausible explanation. With an awkward facial expression, she fast walked towards him. When she was close enough so that he could hear her withought a problem, she said,"Sorry about..." Sylvia trailed off, hoping he would understand what she was trying to say.

When Ray awoke, he spent a good deal of time simply staring up at the ceiling tiles. Why were there ceiling tiles above him? He wondered vaguely. Did the ceiling usually have tiles? Did it matter? Eventually his senses returned, and with them an unfamiliar feeling of self-satasfaction. He was still here. Alive. Undisturbed. Lying on a mattress thicker than that really fat bloke who observed the work in his old factory and sat around eating doughnuts all day. Still not particularly good at inventing similies, but you couldn't have everything. He yawned, stretched, pulled the warm, fluffy blankets tight around himself and went to check out the kitchen.Imagine his euphoria when he discovered the coffee stash. After several hours during which he was aware of nothing but hot coffee, sugar, cream and chocolate, the only gods he worshipped, he bothered to look about the house. It seemed like it had been left only yesterday; or, more probable; last week. Ray couldn't seem to believe his luck. Only, he knew it couldn't last.

Ray wasn't sure which it was; the sugar, cream or chocolate. But one of them had a side effect he'd forgotten about. It made him extremely reckless. And confident. And stupid. Wait. Those all mean the same thing. After bathing, riding a mattress down the stairs, liberating a leather jacket (the only thing to his size and taste in the wardrobes) and decorating the walls with post-it-note art (don't ask), he decided to venture outside. And when he saw an extremely nice and expensive-looking manor, guess what he did? He decided to ring the doorbell.(THIS is what happens when you make me bored XD)

@leafpelt@silver_winged@asi@bunnyshadow@skylarkHaving seen the video, Aizel had stood unmoving in one place, staring at the blank screen. It'd been a strangely familiar room, especially the metallic colour of the steel walls and the strangely angled, wide windows. She had cocked her head and had blinked a few times, trying to regain momory of the building or at least the location. She was sure that the hovercraft was bound to have been left in the old city, hence the date of the video record, March 16, 2020. She, unfortunatelly, had no memory of it, despite having rounded all the forbidden streets in the old city. She'd definitelly heard the name Tony Stark before and that of doctor Banner as well. The scientist was worshipped in the facility where she knew one of her friends worked at. The smart young men and women there helped the Chitauri hovercrafts but despite that, still despised the Emperor. Her head snapped towards Frost at the last set of words and she frowned angrily. "OI! I'm perfectly fine! I can walk, you know!" she protested stubbornly, getting up to prove her point. "There! See?" she grinned as she succeeded in balancing herself up and it may have been a believeable statement if it had not been her waggling legs and the few times that she was ready to fall.

@asi (LOL. Why is he in the rich part of town in the first place?)~~~An man answered the door. He looked Ray up and down, summing the boy up. After a long while, he paused, then said,"What do you want?". The man seemed to have just wolen up, and he was rubbing sleep from his eyes. He repeated his question.
skylark • 11 June 2012 at 12:04 PM
@bunnyshadow~~~~Andrew heard Sylvia walking up behind him, and he turned around to look at her as she tried to start a conversation. "Ah... it's fine. Just thank the Emperor that he had the knockout gas installed in my suit." He looked at the floor and scratched the back of his head awkwardly. A chitauri walked up to both of them, and said in a monotone voice, "The Emperor of us all wishes to talk to you." Andrew raised his eyebrows as his eyes flicker to Sylvia. "Well, I wish you the best of luck." he turned around and started to walk away when the chitauri spoke up. "You too, Andrew." Ah, crud. Andrew thought, as he turned back around to follow the chitauri. The chitauri led them down to the grand hall, then down the main hallway, past the dining room, kitchen, living room all the way to the end. At the end, there was a huge set of doors, adorned in statues of the defeat of the Avengers and above them was Loki, looking very majestic as he conquered the heros.

@Bunnyshadow (T_T IF you were reading, he followed Sylvia there ._. Then got lost.)@Skylark (THE GAS? XD)Suddenly, Ray actually recognized the guy's face. Or maybe he just looked like someone he knew. And had the sane job. Or maybe people with those kinds of faces got those kinds of jobs. But that didn't matter. What mattered was that Ray decided to punch him in the face. Really hard.(Actually, Ray's dad had been the type who obsessively hire the best martial arts teachers for their kids. Of course, Ray was just so lazy that he really never got anywhere. Still, you picked up on SOME things.)

@jupiter_hollow @leafpeltBy the time the three made it out of the building, the metal-clad figure was gone. The men who had captured Sylvia were swarming about the building, shouting and swearing and hurriedly collecting their gear. Rather than wait for them to clear out, Margot took them through the alleys; they needed to leave before the Chitauri showed up.They had then found a new building, in the old residential district. Not a soul lived here now, other than the runaways, which made an explosion like the last one they'd seen less likely. Margot had come in through a broken high-story window, come down the stairs to let the other two in through the front, and then barricaded the door and the ground floor windows with their help. This entire process took them several hours to complete. By the time they were finished, it was just before sunrise. With a heavy sigh, Margot leaned back into the plush couch of the apartment they'd broken into. The entire building had enough food to feed them for a few weeks, Margot figured, if they could go that long without having to move again. The residential district was deathly quiet. The stars, in anticipation of dawn, had faded and left the sky black. It seemed that the whole world was holding its breath, waiting for something grand to occur. It was in this silence that Margot pulled out the camcorder again, motioned for the others to join her on the couch, and selected play. -c

The scene opened with a dark screen, and the sound of clicking and muttering. All of a sudden, a hand withdrew itself from the lens, revealing the face of Tony Stark. His expression was triumphant, if not slightly frustrated. Then the camera swiveled, revealing the rest of the room. They were still on the flying base, it seemed. Sunlight spilled in through the floor to ceiling windows, illuminating the massive round table that occupied the room. Each chair held a different but exceedingly familiar face."So," Stark's voice began, "today we introduce the Avengers." The camera zoomed in on a dark-skinned man with a brooding frown and an eye patch. "And Number Two is with us also," Stark added, his voice tinged with a sarcastic kind of humor. (Margot's eyebrows knit together in confusion; she didn't understand the reference.) The man looked thoroughly unamused. There was a slight rustling sound before what looked like a peanut arced through the air and struck Dr. Banner on the forehead. He looked startled for a moment, and then shook his head and chuckled darkly. Romanoff, the only woman at the table, looked indignant. "Could you not set him off?" she snapped."Okay, everybody say hi and introduce themselves," Stark continued, the camera shifting to center on the man at the left side of the table. He had dark blonde hair and narrow blue eyes, and an air of relaxed authority. The man hesitated for a moment, regarding the camera leerily. -c
silver_winged • 11 June 2012 at 5:46 PM
"I'm Steve Rogers," he said finally. "Otherwise known as Captain America." He appeared to be ready to say more, but the camera snapped to the side, focusing on the next man. "Clint Barton," he said, seeming amused by the whole thing. "Hawkeye." The next man at the table was Dr. Banner, but the camera skipped past him entirely. He was partially visible in the next shot, shaking his head."Natasha Romanoff," said the next of the Avengers. She was a startlingly beautiful woman with short red hair and skeptical eyes. "They call me Black Widow." The last man at the table was the most theatrically dressed, with full armor and a red cape. A hammer rested on the table before him. "I am Thor Odinson," he announced in a booming voice. "I hail from Asgard.""Right," Stark concluded. "So that's everybody.""Not going to introduce yourself?" Banner asked with an easy smile."How could anyone not know who I am?" Stark replied with simple, perfect arrogance. Then the video cut back to first frame, signifying the end of the day two entry.Margot sighed and let the camcorder fall into her lap for a moment. "It's like they're right here with us," she thought miserably, looking out the window and nearly expecting to see the drifting clouds. The first rays of dawn were creeping into the sky.

Pyra followed them, but they started barricading the building. She stared, and then took a semi-conscious nap during the darkness. She lay covered by some boards and crates. She woke up to the sound of window opening, but she doubted that she would be able to look through it, especially since someone was near it. Maybe she should head back, she thought as she saw the moon fleeing once again from the sun's arrival.

@silver_wingedAaron had fallen asleep under the cardboard box as the frustrated men scattered away from the city's centre. When he awoke again, the sun was faintly streaming through the small holes in his box. Yawning, he crawled out of the box and set off to find some food. Drinking the last of his fresh water from his canteen, he frowned as he wished he had more. Letting the canteen fall to the ground, he kept walking. Past the destroyed centre, through the suburbs, and onto the old people's retired homes. He smiled stupidly as he found a wildflower over on the brown grass, and smelled it gently. "Ahh, nature." he whispered, looking around him. The clouds were billowy, pink, orange, yellow incased in a bright blue sky. The sun shone on his back, and he felt the warmth. Slowly, the flower's leaves turned towards the sunlight and it released incapturing aromas. He kept walking aimlessly as he normally does, until he saw a suspicious apartment building. It looked barricaded and dead, but the wood boards looked new. Raising his eyebrow, he walked towards it and wondered who was in there. The sun fully broke through the clouds and it was a new day.

@skylark@silver_winged~~~Sylvia shifted uncomfortably, and was about to reply to Andrew's statement when an chitauri appeared. Sylvia frowned after the alien spoke, and turned back to Andrew to say something, but was cut off by the chitauri. Rubbing her wrist with her thumb, she followed Andrew and the Chitsuri down the corridor. They passed many rooms and doors, as well as pictures and paintings of Loki himself, or the Avengers in their last breathing moments. Finally, they stopped in front of a set of huge wooden doors decorated with jewels and other beautiful gems. Sylvia paused, and as the doors opened, she looked up at her father.
meixiaotian • 11 June 2012 at 6:55 PM
Pyra watched as a guy passed by. He was going towards the building. She didn't know about if he was good or bad, so she just lay there and watched. She gripped the rusty knife instinctively. Weapons=good. Especially in this world.
leafpelt • 11 June 2012 at 7:58 PM
@jupiter_hollow @silver_winged"We should stock up." Frost said right after the video had stopped. It was shocking, that all these heroes have been sitting right there, recording the video. "Since there is free supplies here, we might as well camp out here and take avantage of it. Should we scout this place for any intruders? I volunteer."Frost's piercing eyes scanned the place. It seemed to be abandoned, because no one was there. "Good place for the night, or a while."she muttered.

Andrew had the itching urge to reach for Sylvia's hand, but instead clamped them to fists. He grunted, a sign the chitauris took to open the doors. Inside, everything was gold. Gold walls, gold throne, gold-suited chitauris, gold EVERYTHING. The room was huuge, at 25ft x 30ft. At the exact opposite of them sat Loki, in his throne. He looked busy, assigning chitauris to do common jobs like round up gangs, clean the uptown street, or odd things like that. Andrew coughed, and he finally looked up. "Oh, hello!" He said loftily from quite a ways, but he sounded like he was right beside them. "Do come in."
bunnyshadow • 11 June 2012 at 8:33 PM
@skylark xD~~~Sylvia stepped inside, smiling slightly. "Hi dad.", she said. She watched as the chitauri rushed about to follow his orders. The gold was a bright color, yet had a deeper tint to it. While examining the multiple designs enscripted in the gold, she mulled over why her and Andrew were called here.

@bunnyshadow >#<Am I roleplaying Loki right? I can't get a feel of him xD~~~~Loki smiled, and stepped down from his throne. Chitauris that were flocking him while he sat, now watched him in interest. Ignoring all the eyes, Loki gently wrapped his arms around his only daughter.Andrew wasn't sure why, but he wanted to barf. Loki looked weird, hugging someone so similar to him like that. Loki smiled, "Hello, dear. It's good to see you." He released her and waved a chitauri over to get some food for them, as the sun broke through the window and the room became glaringly bright.
