"What do you *mean* how am I doing this? I just am!" she spa "And besides, there are billions, and millions born each day, I don't think you'll be having any shortage issues!" she retorted, her brace and arm whined against the uncomfortable position, a few sparks danced along the ground around her as she stood there. "There really isn't a reason to spare a few..." she muttered "They hate their own kind for the stupidest things, it's retarded!" she snapped, jerking against Sylvia's grasp after speaking.@bunnyshadow@jupiter_hollow
bunnyshadow • 9 June 2012 at 6:05 PM
@Inkstep LANGUAGE. *children's site*~~~"Why do you care? I see your reasoning, but do you have to do this here? Why not set fire to the forests instead?", she retorted. She kept hold on Pixel's wrist. "Would you rather I kill you now like you killed those?", she threatened. After a short while, she added. "I would have allowed the buildings to burn, but you went overboard on the street lights and wires. My ears are still ringing.", she complained.
inkstep • 9 June 2012 at 6:12 PM
@bunnyshadow haha sorry!!!!~*~"Well *Sorry!*" she snipped, scowling as she spoke "And I burned the building to cause fear, it's like karma..." she shrugged a bit, shifting her position "Go ahead and kill me if you want, as if you can, what power do you have over me anyway!?" she was beginning to have trouble covering up the fear and uncertainty in her voice. Sparks continued to dance around her feet like rain bouncing off an umbrella.
bunnyshadow • 9 June 2012 at 6:17 PM
@inkstep~~~Sylvia watched the sparks with a careful eye. "I have everything.", she said. "And I suppose your not going to start pleading for you life?", Sylvia asked. Suddenly, she let Pixel go. "I'll make you a deal.", she said. "You will recieve shelter, clothes, good food and luxeries.... If only you use your powers when we ask. For example, we believe there is an uprising happening in a place you humans call 'New York'. We need you to go there, and cause enough destruction to lower the chances of them successfully taking over the city."
inkstep • 9 June 2012 at 6:28 PM
Stumbling as Sylvia leg to, a slight grin crossed her face, it seemed like a pretty good deal in all honesty, "Alright...I'll accept...I guess" she nodded a bit, adjusting her scarf and shovin her hands into her pockets "No catch?" she asked, for all she knew it could have been a scam or a trick to lure her to her death.@bunnyshadow
bunnyshadow • 9 June 2012 at 6:30 PM
@inkstep~~~"Nope. No catch, but there are certain things you have to be careful of. For example, the chitauri and other aliens we have under my dad's control.", She stated. "If you both them to much, they may eat you alive."
inkstep • 9 June 2012 at 6:37 PM
"Pht, I don't think I'll be able to get close to one without killing it..." she shrugged a bit, nodding again. "But alright, I guess Ill take you up on your offer then..." looking back as a few more people ran away, more gathering now to watch the building go down, she rolled her eyes and with a flick of her wrist, the structure collapsed to the ground, nothing more than a burning pile of stone and metal.@bunnyshadow
bunnyshadow • 9 June 2012 at 6:42 PM
@inkstep~~~"Come with me.", She said as she stepped over a fallen street lamp. "Do you have an family or so?", she asked. She bent down to pick up a black cat that happened to pad by. It meowed when it was plucked form it's spot on the ground.
inkstep • 9 June 2012 at 6:44 PM
Nodding, she followed after the girl, hesitating and lowering her head before speaking "None that I know of..." she muttered, pulling on her goggles. Yawning slightly, she continued at an even pace, looking up slightly at the mew from the feline Sylvia picked up.@bunnyshadow

@bunnyshadow@inkstepI think I'll rudely butt in ._.She watched the two girls with unhidden curiousity, having heard their conversation. She was qite near them and as they began walking away, she shadowed them warily, snooping around in order to hear their plans. She was ready to run, if something occured or she was sensed but doubted she'd get seen, hence the way both girls were carrid away in their conversation.
bunnyshadow • 9 June 2012 at 7:06 PM
@inkstep@jupiter_hollowLoki + Sylvia = CAT FAMILY ❤️ xD~~~After a while, they passed by the manor where Sylvia lived with her father, and into the part of the city where Loki's followers lived. It was clean and tidy, filled with large homes and green plants and lawns. Hovercrafts were scattered nearby for the chitauri to use when it was time for their shifts.Sylvia stopped by an empty home. "You can stay here.", she stated. She squished the cat closer to her body, and it mewed in protest.
inkstep • 9 June 2012 at 7:15 PM
@jupiter_hollow How dare you! haha@unnyshadow hehe cute 😸~*~She watched her surroundings carefully, not used to a sudden change. Looking up at the building, she nodded "Thanks..." her voice was low as she spoke. Looking over at the helpless creature, Pixle placed a finger on it's nose, it's black fur standing on-end as she sent a low charge through it's body

A huge centipede crawled from the corner of the abandoned building. Chunks of the decrepit wall fell down in a shower of dust. The centipede crawled towards Pyra. She couldn't move in fear. It raised up, and the feeling came back into her legs. She turned and ran down the street. Thousands of chitauri came at her. Her legs felt like jello as she tumbled down the worn-out pavement. It was like she was running through water without any energy. She ran into an alley. It came to a dead end. She turned around like a cornered animal, eyes flashing in fear. She couldn't fight any of them. They came with weapons, weapons of-Pyra's eyes snapped open from the sound of an explosion. She rolled over to wake up fully. She sat up and stared through the leaves. She couldn't see the explosion anymore, but she could hear chaos. Her mind flashed instantly to a single word: Rebels. No, that couldn't be it... Could it? If it was, she could go over to meet others, others to help overthrow Loki. If not, she would be caught. Caged. Destroyed mentally and then physically. No. She couldn't risk it. Fear knotted her throat as she thought of what could happen if she was caught. Something like the nightmares she always had. Except it wouldn't end. Ever. She stared out at the scene.
midnightmoon • 9 June 2012 at 7:16 PM
Pyra glanced around. Through the hazy leaves, she could see the sun's pink and orange colors rising from the horizon. She could see the moon fleeing from the sun's presence, falling down the horizon again. It was too early to get up, but too late to fall asleep. She flopped back on her side and stared through the darkness to the city.

@silver_winged@leafpeltA sigh escaped her as the two girls (the steampunk kid and the sword holder) disappeared from her way of view and entered Loki's residence. She would never be caught dead there so she decided not to nter whatsoever. She was bruised, bloodied and battered, with a shattered nose, a few broken ribs and a nasty blackeye so she gave up on seeking more trouble for the day and walked off to a random alley. She sighed, pulling up the hood of her sweatshirt and slipping her hands in the deep pockets of her jeans. She strolled lazily down the deserted street, wodering where to reside for the night. She had gone pretty far away from her home and it was already twilight. The Chitairu would definitelly have something in mind for her if she was caught in the streets so late.Soon, a tall building appeared in her line of sight and she paused in front of it, slightly cocking her head. It seemed abandoned, not too worn down though so she guessed it would do...Without warning she trotted up to the building and, after unsuccessfully fiddling with the locked door, decided to straight forward kick it down. A swift kick to the handle did the job and as the door knob broke, she swing the door open.
silver_winged • 9 June 2012 at 7:48 PM
@leafpelt @jupiter_hollowMargot awoke from a dreamless sleep with a flail of limbs and a muttering of profanity. She righted herself in the armchair, blinking wildly as she attempted to source the disturbance. Another loud crackle sounded from outside the building. Margot turned in time to watch the windows, through the drawn blinds, light up like the night sky on the Fourth of July. "Jesus," she spat, pushing herself from the chair and approaching the window. Frost, she noticed groggily, was wide awake. Margot found herself slightly frustrated that the girl didn't trust her choice of a shelter, but she shoved it aside just as she pried open the blinds.Telephone wires and street lamps were shooting sparks out onto the road in a nearby section of the city. One building was laid to complete waste; it stood now as a smoking, flaming heap of bent metal. "We're all right here," Margot muttered as she surveyed their own street, looking for any kind of disturbance. Her eyes widened as she caught the dark shape of a human figure heading for their building. It disappeared underneath the structure, and when it did not reappear, Margot pulled away from the window with a louder, sharper exclamation of profanity. "We need to get out," she sputtered, dashing back to the chair and slinging her bag over her shoulder. "Somebody's in the building."
leafpelt • 9 June 2012 at 7:59 PM
@silver_winged @jupiter_hollowFrost noticed that Margot seemed a little miffed, but she shrugged. "We have to go, then.Let's see, we can jump."Frost pried opened the window. Outside, dawn was still rising. One of the buildings nearby had been destroyed, all burnt up with sparks firing out. They were a couple stories high, but had a good shot. They could climb down too. "Ready?" Frost asked.Frost started climbing down the building. Even though it was flat, her hands didn't slip-at all. That's strange, she thought. Frost kept climbing down, but it seemed that the person in the building followed them(godmodding?)Frost cursed. She had to use her weapon.

Ray, deep in thought and taking no notice of his surroundings, found himself lost in a place very different to the kind he'd become acclimatized to in the last few years. The colours... it was like a dream, stepping outside of that grayscale world and into this... It was bittersweet, as it reminded Ray of the place he used to live, where'd he'd grown up. For the first time in forever, he imagined going home. Just getting on a train and watching that place slip away. Walking through his house again. Seeing his family. Drinking high-quality coffee, with cream and sugar and chocolate. It was a fantasy he hadn't allowed himself to indulge in back in the factories, for fear of sinking into a depression he couldn't surface from. Home was just too far away... He would never be able to afford the trip back.Ray sighed and looked around, realizing he had lost track of the girl he'd been following. He didn't even know the way out. He was completely lost.

@leafpelt@silver_wingedStrolling lazily through the hallways, Aizel climbed up the stairs and reached a seemingly abandoned floor. She raised an eyebrow at the scattered furniture and the blood stains on some walls. The workers definitelly had been surprised at the Chitauri invasiion, she nonchalantly hummed at the thought.A mere moment later, her head snapped left, having caught a glance of shadowed figures behind one door nearby. Her eyes widened, her breathing quickened and she quickly made sure to lower herself in order to remain out of the strangers' line of view. Approcaching the door warily, she pulled out the gun that was conveniently tucked under her shirt and quickly neared the slightly ajar door, getting ready to attack the strangers.
silver_winged • 9 June 2012 at 8:11 PM
@leafpelt @jupiter_hollow"It's too early for this," Margot muttered bitterly to herself, too softly for Frost to hear. She pried open the office window, stepped onto the desk, and switched on her gloves. Then, she gripped the windowsill, and swung her legs so that she hung outside the building.Four stories about the ground, Margot took deep, calming breaths. As quickly as she could manage while still being careful, she peeled her hand away from the window (to deactivate the grip on her glove) and then slapped it onto the glass below. Once that hand was secure, she gritted her teeth, and loosened the other one from the windowsill. The world lurched beneath her as she swung for one miserable moment, exhilarated and terrified, hanging far above the ground from exactly one hand. This was always the hardest part--the swing. Then, she slapped the loose hand down, and she was solidly fixed again. Despite the wild beating her heart maintained, the rest of the way down was easy. She had her boots turned on, just in case of an accident, but not once did she have to use them until they landed firmly back upon the ground. "There was just one," Margot whispered to Frost. "We can get 'em." Then, she dashed back into the building, through the now-broken front door.
leafpelt • 9 June 2012 at 8:12 PM
@jupiter_hollow @silver_wingedFrost followed Margot back into the building. "Are you sure-"she tried not to wince as the gash burned. Running back up the building, Frost tried to think about that stranger. Who was that person and how did they know there were people here? They saw the person, and slowly crept toward her.

@inkstep@asi@silver_winged~~~Withought another word, Sylvia turned away from Pixel and walked down the street. She headed home, the cat still held in her arms. It struggled for a while, then gave up and sat there. Sylvia yawned slightly as she pushed through the gates and opened the tall doors into her home. She was tempted to just crash on the couch for the rest of the day, but decided against it. She let the cat jump form her hold and start padding around sniffing objects. She fast walked to her room on the second floor and opened the door. The window was open, and clothing was strewn about in the corner of the room. The blankets were in a small heap on the bed and the pillows were in odd angles. The room was messy.Sylvia took off her sword and tossed it on the ground, as well as throwing her boots into her closet. After, she fell onto her bed and dozed off.
jupiter_hollow • 9 June 2012 at 8:19 PM
@silver_winged@leafpeltAs the shadows disappeared from her line of view, she waited a while before kicking the door open and aiming the gun at the first hing she saw, which, unconveniently, happened to be an armchair. She paused, taking a deep breath and then examined the room... There wasn't a sould in sight. A small, almost unnoticeable relieved sigh escaped her as she smiled and threw the gun on the desk and slipped into the still warm and caomfy armchair. Her tensed muscles relaxed and she chuckled in utter delight as she rested her head back and closed her eyes. It had probably been her imagination or her messed up mind, hence the numerous kicks to the head she'd recieved. There were no shadows, so there were no worries. *Ugh! So short!
leafpelt • 9 June 2012 at 8:23 PM
@jupiter_hollow@silver_wingedMine are shorter.....~~~Frost continued to crept to the room, not checking if Margot was behind her or not. She whispered, "Let's go." and headed to the door. She took out her clip and changed it into a bow when she realized someone was in there. With a start, Frost realized it was the room they had just left. They opened the door just a peep, and they saw a girl relaxing on the armchair.
silver_winged • 9 June 2012 at 8:29 PM
@jupiter_hollow @leafpeltMargot flew up the stairs as silently as she could, bypassing the second and third floors entirely. The person had been after them--it would only make sense that they'd head to the fourth floor."They had to have been watching us," Margot thought to herself bitterly. They could have camped in any of the other buildings and spied through the windows--found out the exact room when she'd drawn the blinds. "Next time, I'm barricading the front door," she added mentally. With a flip of the switch, she turned on her electric gloves, just as the exited the stairwell and emerged on the fourth floor. The door to the office they'd been sleeping in was ajar. Not only that, but the pursuer was poised just outside it, on their side of the hall. They had a firearm in hand.Margot watched in utter silence, with tense muscles, as the person entered the room. After a moment, she heard a clatter, and the wheeze of compressing springs, and an easy chuckle.Frost whispered something, and Margot cast her an icy glare before she followed her back to the room. She leaned in, glancing through the door. Their pursuer was reclining in an armchair, but Margot didn't pay much attention to that--instead, she searched for the gun. When she found it to be on the desk, she struck the door sharply open with her elbow and stormed up to the girl in the chair. Margot made a move to press her forearm up against the girl's throat. "Who do you work for?" she demanded.

Ray was utterly exhausted. He hadn't had any sleep all night, and the scenery was like a lullaby, it's sweet tune dulling his senses to any danger. Eventually it was just too much. What harm could one little break-in do? He came across a house that appeared empty; the pot plants slightly wilting, unwatered, and the curtains strangely parted; if anyone was sleeping there they'd have been sure to have pull them together so that they weren't rudely awakened at first light. This would do, he thought. It took him a few tries, what with sleep getting in his eyes, but he managed to pick the lock and make enough steps so that when he fell asleep he landed on a bed.
jupiter_hollow • 9 June 2012 at 8:34 PM
@silver_winged@leafpeltHer windpipe was suddenly blocked and, before giving it a second thought, she swung her arm at the person above, aiming for their chest. The fist connected sharply with flesh (GM?) and a thump was heard. She hadn't been able to see the person, hence the lack of air and blurry vision but guessed it was a femme due to the ovious feminine voice. She clamped a hand around her own throat, rubbing the reddened flesh and coughed a little.
leafpelt • 9 June 2012 at 8:38 PM
@jupiter_hollow@silver_wingedFrost gasped as that person punched Margot. That was it. First, she was attacked by Sylvia. Then, they had to run all the way here. After that, this person made them run around the building, and now THIS. Frost exploded-literally. She looked down at her bow and arrow, which had burst into flames. She gasped and shot the arrow at the armchair. Suddenly, the flames died out, her gash burned fiercely, and everything turned black.
silver_winged • 9 June 2012 at 8:54 PM
@jupiter_hollow @leafpeltMargot had been expecting some kind of reaction. She gritted her teeth and withstood the shot to her chest, which hurt surprisingly sharply. "That'll bruise," she thought bitterly, and pressed down harder against the girl's throat. "Bad move," she snapped, and then pushed the base of her free palm against the girl's forehead. A sharp zapping noise pierced the air, the kind that typically accompanied a leap of static. "Fifty thousand volts," she spat, stepping back from the chair to avoid being struck by the girl's potential convulsions.Margot then sidestepped across the room, training her eyes on the girl as she did so. She swiped the gun from the desk and pointed it at the girl's head. An odd sensation overtook her as she held the heavy weapon in her hand, as if she had somehow stepped into the barren wasteland of grey morality. "Don't move," she added, crossing back to stand in front of the girl. "Now tell me who you work for."
jupiter_hollow • 9 June 2012 at 9:01 PM
@silver_winged @leafpelt The sudden shock surprised her, she admitted that reluctantly. Her form shook for a second, eyes sidening and a gasp emitting from her lips. The sharp buzz went through her body like a thousand (not five hunderd) volts made into punches. A second later though, the sensation vanished, leaving a slight sting behind, enough to linger in her mouscles and leave some pain for a while. "Eek!" she squeaked loudly and doubled over, clutching her broken arm with one hand (the jolt had sent an agonizing pain in her bones) and her middle with the other. She frowned scoldingly at Margot. "Hey!!! That hurt!" she capmplained, rubbing her sore muscles and panting almost invisibly. "You don't have to be that rude!" she exclaimed.
