@bunnyshadow Sorry for the lateness, had to take a shower XP A mere second later another attack followed but this time, she didn't have enough time to react when the sword pierced her skin and was driven through her shoulder. "Ack!" a yelp escaped her as the weapon was drawn back and she stumbled on waggling legs, wincing in great pain and anting slightly. "Gad darn it, what the heck are you?" she whispered, clamping a hand over the deep wound and trying to stop the bleeding. She decided to attack as well, seeing as it was better to predict the opponent's moves when you were closer to him. Leaning forward, Aizel made a few sudden steps towards the girl and swung her fist towards her chest.
bunnyshadow • 9 June 2012 at 10:03 AM
@jupiter_hollow~~~Sylvia stepped back and swung her left arm, the one withought the sword in front of herself. She did the same with her right so that they formed a small cross that deflected the girl's punch. The second the girl's fist made contact with the skin on her arm, she grabbed her wrist and twisted it around. (I can edit if that's GMey ^-^)
jupiter_hollow • 9 June 2012 at 10:09 AM
@bunnyshadow Nah, no prob. Me likes challenges =DLocked in the grip of the girl, Aizel flashed a bloodied smile, hence the red liqiud still caking her lips. The girl's grip was a stone one and she had a hold exactly on Aizel's broken arm but without so much as wincing, she pulled back, causing the limb to make a sickening crunch and sharply tugged her hand back, turning around. The position was painful since her hand was still in the girl's grip and was twisted but she brushed the pain off. Moving to stand on the girl's left side, she lifted her leg, etxtende it and swung it to Sylvia's face but instead of kicking, she hooked it on the girl's neck and brought it down, attempting to push Sylvia to the ground.
bunnyshadow • 9 June 2012 at 10:18 AM
@jupiter_hollow~~~Sylvia fell as Aizel pushed her to the ground. Fortunately, she was quick enough to extend her arm out so she didn't fall onto the weapon, although it did slide across the ground away from her. At the same time, Sylvia kept hold of Aizel's wrist, so when she fell, the girl would fall with her.She made a mad attempt to stand after that, and a made a wild grab for her sword. Without the weapon, she was almost defenseless, except for her powers.
jupiter_hollow • 9 June 2012 at 10:24 AM
@bunnyshadow It's ok. ^^She smirked as the move really did work and Sylvia fell but let out a squeak as she found herself tumbling after the girl. She fell, face first as one of her arms was in the girl's grip and the other was holding the girl's sword (she'd managed to snatch it after the girl had fallen) and grunted as her nose got further bruised and shattered. She tugged her hand out seuccessfully but whimpered as the bone pierced the inside of her skin. She looked up just in time to see the girl swat at the sword, trying to reach it. With a wince, she pulled the weapon back and hugged it to her chest, getting up but failing to keep much balance.

@asi @silver_wingedSo Ray escapes/runs away in those 10 minutes?~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Frost looked up in the awkard silence. The sun was just filtering at dawn. "Since Ray doesn't want to join us, maybe we should go before daylight. I mean, we're not going to just sit here and do nothing, are we?"Frost fingered her clip, her link to her parents. She remembererd her parents' last words; "Be strong and help bring the heroes back together." Suddenly, she felt a prickle at her toes. Frost looked down. Not again, she thought. Green shoots were spouting on the floor.
silver_winged • 9 June 2012 at 12:31 PM
@jupiter_hollow @leafpelt Look at us, moving the story along! ^^It took Margot no more than six minutes to gather her meager possessions and reemerge into the sitting room. Her last action was to pull the can of beans they hadn't finished from dinner from the stove and retrieve a spoon. "You can eat this," she said hastily, shoving it into Frost's hands. "Weird name," Margot mouthed to herself as she took one last sweeping look around the house. Underneath Frost's feet, she noticed what appeared to be some kind of plant growth. When no sarcastic comment came to her, she chose to simply ignore it, and waved for Frost to follow her out.The sky hung dark and heavy out ahead, all but for a tiny halo of light on the horizon. Rather than head for the park area like she had earlier that night, Margot set out for the business district. A great volume of fighting had occurred here once, and the area was heavily damaged. However, the wreckage and debris would provide good cover, and give them an advantage if it came to outrunning hovercraft."See if you can find a building," Margot whispered down to Frost, "with a gap in one of the upper floors but none on the first floor."
leafpelt • 9 June 2012 at 12:41 PM
@silver_winged@jupiter_hollowFrost took the can of beans and started to eat. Margot led her to an area of wreckege. "By the way, the name Frost comes from my parents, who hoped that I'll be harsh on my enemies and kind to my allies. Better than Thor, at least. Also, the plant growth? It's uncontrollable...as with my other elements." At that point, Frost stopped talking, because she saw the building that had Margot's desicion. Frost said out loud, "Should we ask Ray once more, or should we leave him?"
silver_winged • 9 June 2012 at 1:01 PM
@leafpelt @jupiter_hollow"I should hope your name comes from your parents," Margot thought to herself with a sigh. She'd have to learn some patience if she was going to keep this kid around. "Thor's problem," she added (out loud this time) with a bitter sort of amusement, "was that he kept forgetting who his enemy was." The comment about elemental control Margot again selectively ignored. The particular significance of it hadn't struck her yet, and there would be plenty of time to discuss it once they found shelter. Then, miraculously, Frost shut up for a minute. Margot followed her gaze up to a building across the street. There was a smashed portion somewhere near the fourth floor, with black smoke residue settled on the surrounding glass. The ground floors were clean and unmarred, which meant that they would be safe from ground troops. She headed for the alley now, which would provide access to the window. Frost piped up with another question, which Margot answered all too hastily. "Leave him," she stated simply. "He's more trouble than he's worth. I know this kid--he's unfocused. Lazy, even." Squared underneath the gap in the window, Margot began to turn on her gloves. "I need you to grab onto my back," she explained, "and hold on very tightly."
leafpelt • 9 June 2012 at 1:24 PM
@silver_wingedFrost started climbing. "I can take care of myself, you know." she muttered. "Would you stop treating me like a child? I've been on the streets by myself sinc e I was 5 years old. " Frost was wary of Margot's gloves. After all, they electrocuted Sylvia. Finally, they entered the building...after Margot climbed up. Frost brushed herself. "So, what now?"~~Sorry, it's short.
silver_winged • 9 June 2012 at 1:43 PM
@leafpelt I like to add some description of my posts feel too short. Of the office building for example.@jupiter_hollow @bunnyshadowAs Frost attempted the climb herself, Margot sighed and cast a glance to the side. She noticed something very oddly-shaped lying against an old dumpster, almost like some kind of pipe. With tentative steps, she approached it and kneeled down. Her eyes strained against the darkness. As the item came into focus, she jumped back a step. "Jesus," she breathed, approaching it for a second time. The object resting against a dumpster was a torn-off human arm. Only this time did Margot notice something in its hand. She squinted down at it, but the light was too poor. After a moment's hesitation (and perhaps a bit of squeamishness), she detached the cold fingers from the box and placed it in her own satchel. Then, she began the climb up the building. As Frost brushed herself off, Margot switched off her gloves and deactivated her boots. Then, she did a sweeping glance of the building, searching for a door. "We find a different room," she explained, heading out toward what she hoped was a conference room. "We want to be invisible, so we can't stay by the window."-c
spiral • 9 June 2012 at 1:43 PM
The first three doors led to small offices, most of them with a chair or two in the corner. Had Margot been alone, she would have settled with one of these; however, the rooms were rather cramped for the both of them. The fourth room was a larger office, like it had belonged to some executive. There was a couch in this one, and two armchairs gathered around a coffee table. For the first time that night, Margot smiled. "We'll stay here," she announced, pausing only to draw the blinds before she collapsed into an armchair and drifted off to sleep.
bunnyshadow • 9 June 2012 at 2:44 PM
@Jupiter_hollow~~~Sylvia hissed when she saw Aizel grab her sword. What was going on with these pitiful mortals these days ? The humans were fighting back, seemingly a lot less afraid of punishments as before... With those thoughts still in her head, she darted to her feet. The other girl had managed to stand too, and Sylvia stepped towards her. With a look of disgust, Sylvia saw that Aizel was hugging her sword close to her chest. A large animal-like growl escaped her lips, before she kneed the little mortal and wrenched the sword from her grasp.

Name: Andrew McCoyneGender: MaleAge: 19Armor: Made from scientifically-styled platinum, Andrew's armor provides complete protection from physical attacks, any arms, fire, extreme temperatures, most forms of energy, and acid. Powered by flat linear armature motor (rechargeable via solar panel), the exoskeleton boosts the strength of the wearer by about 10 times, and employed negative feedback for motion sensing. Air pressure jets allowed for extended jumps (but not true flight) and removable suction cups allows the wearer to cling to walls and ceilings. Weaponry included a chest-mounted monobeam that is effective up to 100 yards, a miniature hacksaw that comes out of the gauntlet's fingertip, and magnetic turbo-insulators that allows Andrew to magnetically deflect metal projectiles or bring metal objects to him. Sensors consisted of a short-wave radio. All of the armor's devices and functions are manually controlled by Andrew.Side: Loki Personality: Rarely talks, little emotion is shown since he basically has a bucket on his head. Trained by some of Loki's closest followers, he fights unnaturally well for his age.Appearance: Andrew never takes off his armor, which is a light blue platinum steel that covers his entire body.History: Raised in Loki's home, he is considered a relative to him, though it is unknown to be true or not.

@inkstep YAAAYY!!! @skylark Shoorah!@silver_Winged AMG! You back!@bunnyshadow Aizel: *eats scepter* O_OA knee connected sharply with her chest and she doubled over."Ack!" she yelped loudly, clutching her middle and stumbled back, wincing in pain as she felt another of her ribs shatter. The scepter was snatched from her hand but she didn't notice until the girl had pointed it at her (GM?). "Sh*t.... What are you?" she mumbled to herself, wondering what kind of a human would have such a strong left beside herself. The girl looked scrawny and weak, so she assumed it was some kind of supernatural power. She righted herself, spitting the blood that filled her mouth and readied herself for a fight again. "Come at me." she growled lowly at Sylvia.
bunnyshadow • 9 June 2012 at 4:07 PM
@jupiter_hollow@skylark~~~"I'd rather not waste my time anymore." She said frostily. "I have reason to think you'd have a better time with a few chitauri."She put the sword down by her side, the tip resting against the ground and as she leaned on it. "Perhaps you'll enjoy Andrew's company. I'm tired and would prefer sleep over a petty squabble that I am to win in the end, anyway." She muttered to herself. Her deep green eyes never left Aizel even as she spoke.
jupiter_hollow • 9 June 2012 at 4:25 PM
@bunnyshadow @skylarkA sharp intake of breath followed as Aizel let out a relieved sigh. At least she might have a chance to escape the andrew boy, whoever he was. She glanced sideways at the girl who was watching her intently. She smirked. Glancing sideways at the streets around, she wondered whether the Andrew person was some weird personal Chitauri or something. She doubted that there were any usual people that served Loki. The demi god had probably chosen some kind of superhumans.

@bunnyshadow@jupiter_hollowI'm lost as to what's happening so I'll start hereFocus...Focus...Focus dang it! Pixl had been spending the past four hours, trying to summon up the energy to blow an apartment building to pieces, she knew she could do it, but couldn't find the will power to. Wind tore at her hair and scarf, her goggles keeping some of the city's dust, from blowing into her eyes. Taking another breath, she closed and opened her hands slowly, the leather scrunched as she did so. Letting her velvet-cake red eyes slide shut, a loud 'Krakow' split the air, the bright white streak of lightning that erupted from the ground, tore the building in two, lighting it on fire in the process. A cruel grin covered the young albino's face as screams filled the air, people spilling from the building like water from a flooded rain gutter. The sight was beautiful, so she thought.

@silver_wingedFrost watched as Margot went to sleep. She decided that it was better if someone kept watch. The room was spacious, yet gloomy. Frost sighed. People will underestimate you, her mother had said.A wave of pain hit her. She checked that one was looking, then pulled up her clothes, revealing a swollen red gash. It's nothing, she said to herself. She remembered that a couple nights ago, some of Loki's border patrol had attacked her. It had been close, and the gash was the only injury she had. Still, if it got infected, it wouldn't be good. Frost had been holding back her pain ever since she followed Margot. People respect strength, her father had once chided. Surprisingly, she could still remember her parents clearly.Frost sighed and winced as another wave of pain crashed on to her. When Margot wakes up, she'll have a chat with Margot. It was going to be a long watch.

@inkstep@bunnyshadow@silver_wingedWell, Sylvia and Aizel got into a fight after Aizel beat up a guy in a street fight. XDDeciding to profit from Sylvia's visible distraction, Aizel turned to run back into the street where she had come from. Her chest still wheezed and she panted, clutching the wound on her shoulder. She had no desire to deal with the girl whatsoever. She'd had enough commotion for one day.Rounding a corner, she found herself facing a river of running people, who were ready to aalanche her. Succesfully avoiding them, she ran to a nearby building that seemed to partially blown away. At least she wouldn't get seen.
bunnyshadow • 9 June 2012 at 5:03 PM
@jupiter_hollow@skylark@inkstep~~~Sylvia continued watching Aizel, from her position. "What are you going to do now? Run?", Sylvia asked with a malevolent grin. Suddenly, an large explosion split the air. Somewhere nearby, she heard the carck of a building splitting in two and the crackle of fire. Immediately, she straightened and picked up the sword. "What the hell is going on?", she yelled as she took off in a quick, but elegant run towards the noise.Upon her arrival, she saw humans streaming from a building that split into two. An chitauri hovercraft was just dissapearing from sight, but an small group of the aliens were already on the ground. They were not dling anything to help the humans, but were not exactly blocking their escape route either.Flames licked the sky, and Sylvia waited a long while until no more humans trickled from the entrance way. She walked towards the building, and went inside, despite the flames. She was gone for 10 minutes, and suddenly the flames went out. Nothing was left of teh building except for a charred black shell. She came back outside, with nothing more than some dirt caked to her boots. Nearby, she saw a girl about her age standing with a cruel grin.

@bunnyshadow@jupiter_hollowSnickering, absolutely satisfied, Pixle pulled back her goggles and let her mask hang around her neck, getting a better look - and smell- at the destruction, she nodded and turned on the heel of her boot, shoving her hands into her pockets and walking off as though she had just been a passer-by. People shoved past her in a rude and panicked manner, just causing her to snicker a bit more. Loving the sounds of panic and mayhem, she decided to spark up her own key, flicking her wrist, telephone poles and street lights began to bend to the ground with ear wrenching creaks, like nails on a chalk board. The steam-punk era girl just sat and laughed, letting a shower of sparks fall from the wires overhead. Still, no one suspected her, due to the fact taht unlike most of the other heroes and villains, she wasn't decked out all snazzy and what not, she looked like a homeless child if anything.
bunnyshadow • 9 June 2012 at 5:18 PM
@inkstep@jupiter_hollow@leafpelt@silver_winged~~~Pure destruction. Sylvia put an hand on her forhead, trying to block out the loud creaks the telephone poles and wires made as they bent. She quickly strolled over to the chitauri, and said in a quick tone. "Who's doing this?". THe moment those words left her mouth she knew that none of the aliens were the cause. They were all shifting around uncomfortabley, and Sylvia gave a quick order to them. "Go and find the cause.", before they left. Sylvia stepped through the crowd, and the humans stepped around her. An laugh was heard. She headed towards that direction, only to find the same girl form before. Red eyes. White hair, even though she had the features of a teen. She walked towards the human girl, examining her thoroughly. The girl was wearing a mask and goggles, as well as dark jeans and boots.
inkstep • 9 June 2012 at 5:27 PM
@bunnyshadow@jupiter_hollowGoing to one knee, Pixle placed three fingers to the ground, the street lights and telephone poles practacally erupted as they were jerked to the ground, crushing a few people and causing massive cracks in the pavement and sidewalk. The panic and screams of the people grew louder, causing Pixle to laugh just a bit more. "Pathetic" she muttered as the people continued to disperse in aa hectic manner. Getting back to her feet, she flicked her wrist and a small spark danced along her hand. "Great, I'm bored again" she muttered, tapping her foot a few times, she looked back at the burning building, knowing there were still people inside. Nodding slightly, the building collapsed with a loud creak, the magnetic field began to increase, causing anything with magnetic properties, to be jerked to the ground, some things even being so drawn towards the strengthened field, that they were causing small craters in the ground, continuing to pull towards the strength.
jupiter_hollow • 9 June 2012 at 5:31 PM
@inkstep@bunnyshadowSneaking from behind the building, Aizel couldn't help but notice the steampunkish girl that stood in the alley with a slightly nonchalant, almost cruel expression on her face. She frowned, eyeing her warily. The girl looked no more than 14 and in a normal sitiuation she wouldnt've considered her as the evildoer, but after what she'd seen mere minutes ago, she wasn't quite sure. Sylvia had seemed like a typical villain depite being a teen. so maybe this girl was too. She approached her warily, deciding to hide in the shadows instead of revealing herself to the seemingly innocent teen.
asi • 9 June 2012 at 5:31 PM
Ray had watched the fight play out and was relieved when the streetfighter managed to escape in one piece. After that, he continued to shadow Sylvia, as he was bored and had a weird feeling that she was important somehow (other than being Loki's daughter, etc) and knowing as he could about her would be useful. Call it intuition. And with the lightning and telephone poles? Something strange was definitely going on.
bunnyshadow • 9 June 2012 at 5:32 PM
@inkstep~~~It was definitely the girl with the white hair's doing. She could tell. Even though she had no love for the humans, it didn't mean they would allow some... mutant human to destroy it's own kind. We needed the human's to slave and work at the factories, and it was a waste of lives.Fast as a cobra striking it's prey, she grabbed the girls wrists and twisted them behind her back.(Will edit if you think this is GM ^-^) Simultaneously, she said one word layered with hypnotism and persuasion. "Stop."
inkstep • 9 June 2012 at 5:44 PM
@bunnyshadow no haha it's fine@jupiter_hollow~*~"aih!" she whimpered at the cold grasp of the unknown being's hand around her wrist, pain coursing through her good arm as she did so. the magnet field let up as the sparks dissolved into the air. "W...why should I?" she hissed, a chill running down her spine after Sylvia spoke, there was something that just seemed off about the being.
bunnyshadow • 9 June 2012 at 5:51 PM
@inkstep~~~"You are wasting our human slave's lives.", she stated. She loosened ehr grip on Pixel's wrist, but held it tight enough so she couldn't get out withought a great deal of struggle. "Please, just Stop.", she repeated. After a moment, she asked a short question. "How are you doing this?"
