The hovercraft started again, making the air around the rebels incredibly hot and exhust-y. Probably summoned by other chitauris, the hovercraft flew away on autopilot.Aaron was passed out on the street, probably from seeing the chitauris running up to attack him. As the hovercraft pulled away, he coughed and blinked while sitting up. "Wa happen?" he asked in a small voice, mostly questioning the sky. "Why am I not dead?" He frowned, trying to put together what happened. After a few minutes, he gave up and went to the girl who was crouching against a wall... she looked severely injured. His forehead in worried wrinkles, he pulled out a box from his pocket and went up to her. Crossing his index finger over his mouth and heart to show her that he wasn't an enemy nor did he want to hurt her, but rather to help her. Without waiting for a reply back, he set to work on her foot. Gently taking off the hastily put on bandaids, he cleansed the wound and propped her knee up so her foot was flat against the ground. "This will hurt." Aaron said, then put his hand on the open wound. Stacking his free hand on top of other one, he pushed down hard. The blood gushed out and her skin crawled, feeling like it was on fire.

(c)After a couple of second of this agonizing pain, he released both of his hands and her skin was nearly perfect. The bone underneath had organized itself under Aaron's guide, and regrew back to normal. The muscles wove back together and her foot was slightly stronger then normal. All that showed that she had a hole through her foot was a scrawled ring directly on it. "Ah, sorry. I can't help that." He shrugged, and asked her to lie down. (GM, sorry) He turned her head so it faced away from her wounded shoulder, and started to disinfect it. Placing his hands over it again, he made a face as he healed her shoulder. Fire spread through her shoulder, neck, and arm down to her hand as the bad blood oozed out. Removing his hand, there was no scars on her shoulder. Repeating the process for the ribs, they were left with hairline scars. Aaron helped her sit up and he gave her a water bottle. "Drink. It'll help." He encouraged, then nodded to her. "You alright?" He asked, his hands shaking slightly. Clutching them into fists, he took a drink from a different water bottle. Sweat beaded on his forehead. "Sorry, I can't spare anymore energy for you. I must see who else needs mending." He got up and peeped around the corner, looking for the girl who was on the building.@jupiter_hollow @silver_winged

@jupiter_hollow @skylarkMargot slammed her elbow into the face of the first Chitauri, intending to wrestle it down as she had the last two. However, all of a sudden, the four seemed to lose interest in her. The creature broke away and ran completely past her. Confused and slightly offended, Margot whirled around to see what the creatures were so captivated by--turns out they'd discovered what they'd assumed to be a weaker target."[yeep], Aizel!" Margot snarled, observing the fight from her distance. So much for staying put and watching the apartment. Frost must have left the door open, Margot realized--they would have to do a full investigation of the building now.About as quickly as it began, however, it was over. The dark-haired girl dispatched the four creatures with a series of street fighting moves and two gunshots. "To be fair, I would have started with the gun," Margot though to herself with a roll of her eyes. The pudgy boy from before reappeared from whatever hiding place he'd managed to fit into. Margot continued to watch quietly as he seemed to heal each of Aizel's wounds. Her eyebrows knit together in surprise--this boy had superpowers. She'd never personally seen someone apart from Loki's crew that had such abilities. Deciding it was time to step in, she approached the two of them and stopped right behind the boy."Excuse me," she declared in a calm, serious voice.
meixiaotian • 12 June 2012 at 4:23 PM
Pyra watched everything in horror. She wanted to help, but couldn't. She couldn't bring herself to fight. She wasn't even terribly good at it. The fear at the idea was terrible. She shuddered. Oh [yeep], now her hands were smoldering. She felt like she should get involved, but still, even after three years, couldn't bring herself to defy Loki.
skylark • 12 June 2012 at 4:39 PM
@silver_wingedBut before Aaron could reach the corner, the person he wanted to look at stood right in front of him. Stuttering, Aaron's brown cheeks went pink. "S-s-so-sor-ry!" His tan hands when clammy, and he flustered. Moving out of Margot's way, he stared at the floor.
silver_winged • 12 June 2012 at 4:46 PM
@skylarkMargot let out an impatient sigh. This kid was a little too jumpy--it was making her anxious. She remained in her spot, staring down at the boy. Her arms twitched as she began to move her hands to her hips, although the humming of the electric gloves caught her attention, and she quickly let her arms fall once more. She had accidentally shocked herself before and would prefer to avoid it again. The screwdriver in her right hand dripped black blood from its flat edge. "What are you doing here?" she asked in a flat tone.
skylark • 12 June 2012 at 4:55 PM
@silver_wingedAaron regarded the tall half-robot woman with a glance. "Surviving." He answered as he kicked the ground a bit, the dust rising around his foot. His hands were cold and clamped behind his back, and his throat was awfully dry. The air was starting to get hot as the sun rose, and he hadn't fully recovered from healing the once-injured girl yet. Looking at Aizel, he wondered if she was going to be alright. "Avengers?" Aaron suddenly asked Margot. Quickly regretting his outburst, he stammered, "Oh, s-sorry. M'name's Aaron." he mumbled.
leafpelt • 12 June 2012 at 7:13 PM
@silver_winged @jupiter_hollow"WHAT?" Frost screeched. "Are you truly insane?" Behind her, Aizel and Margot were confronting that pudgy boy. Frost heard the name Aaron, and something about Avengers. Let's get this over with, Frost thought. To the newcomer, she attempted to stab her dagger. "You want to die? I won't do it myself. Either you die by your loss of blood, or you let us help you." Right away, a twinge of guilt sprang inside her. To the others," I need a little help here. This guy doesn't want to live."@bunnyshadow@skylark
bunnyshadow • 12 June 2012 at 7:38 PM
@leafpelt Godmod.@skylark You never responded to Sylvia :]@Asi~~~Fang predicted her next move, and as she stretched her arm down to stab his leg, he flicked it aside. The dagger slid across the ground. He sighed and looked at her with an blank expression. "You've got to be able to do better than that."The chitauri seemed sick of chasing him, and caught up to him. The alien grabbed his arm with it's mechanical fingers.
leafpelt • 12 June 2012 at 7:44 PM
@bunnyshadowEDITED> I'm not sure where the line of godmod is...sylvia wrapping her arms around ray...is ok, but stabbing isn't? Please clarify.~~~~Frost's tempered flared as he disarmed her. "Ok, so you want me to attack you, yet you think I need to improve?" Frost said to Margot, "Would you like to do the honors? I'll take care of Aaron over there." She waited for her weapon to come back to her hand.(Ok? I don't want to break any rules or abuse anything...T_T)
asi • 13 June 2012 at 1:06 AM
@Bunnyshadow The cold grip of the Chitauri sent fresh waves of terror crashing through Ray, and his first reaction was to flail and try to break free of the thing's grasp, but as more encircled him, he came to his senses and slumped his shoulders in defeat, no longer bothering to resist. Now he'd done it. But he didn't feel bad about it at all. Maybe it wasn't something in the coffee that'd made him so reckless... Maybe he WANTED it to end. Or maybe, he was one of those attention-seekers, and irritated at being ignored be someone who'd promised to kill him, had went and looked for some other trouble... But that sugar had definitely made him hyper.
bunnyshadow • 13 June 2012 at 1:13 AM
@leafpelt@skylark@asi~~~Fang yawned and blinked multiple times. "Are you done yet?", he asked. -The chitauri eyed Ray suspiciously because of his sudden calmness. They put shackles around Ray's wrists, and led him out the door. Most were tempted to torture then kill Ray on the spot for resisting captivity for so long, but the leader of the group decided otherwise. "We bring him to Lord Loki.", je said.-Sylvia shifted uncomfortably, and waited silently for her father's response.
asi • 13 June 2012 at 1:46 AM
Ray wondered where they were taking him, but decided against saying anything, particularly because he wasn't sure whether the things were capable to intelligent conversation. The shackles sucked pretty bad and made him wonder if he was going to be re-employed as a slave, again. Ray made an utterly rubbish slave, he knew that much. He'd heard people had managed to strangle themselves with handcuffs before, so he figured that could be his backup if things got really bad, though he doubted he'd be able to do it. Also he wasn't quite sure how that WORKED, maybe they only managed to suffocate other people... Well, that could be a way, indirectly...With these and other, equally fascinating thoughts swirling around his his mind, he absently allowed the Chitauri to lead him willingly wherever they were going.
bunnyshadow • 13 June 2012 at 6:17 AM
@asi~~~Soon they arrived at a dirty stone building with bars as windows. It was rat infested and stunk. The chitauri opened one of the cells, and tossed Ray inside. The cell contained the bones of what was once human. Cobwebs hung in the corners and dust layered everything. Blood was often found staining the walls and ground.
asi • 14 June 2012 at 12:24 AM
Oh, for crying out loud! Was there no mercy in the world?According to Ray's history lessons, you could tell a lot about a ruler by the state of their prisons. (Not that he needed it, he'd already seen the people, but) this was a pretty good metaphor for what Ray could assume for Loki's personality. Ratty, dirty, bloodthirsty and bad-breathed. Sounded like a simply spiffing fellow to him. Mind you, apart from the icky human remains, it wasn't that much worse than where Ray had lived at the factories. The question was, did the roof leak? Considering it was a cell, it would probably be good (or bad?) if it did, then he wouldn't die of dehydration, at least. All the place really needed was a woman's touch, he mused, stretching out on the floor and staring up at the ceiling. It was really too bad, he'd finally got cleaned up that morning, and now he was gonna get all grubby again. Ray hoped the bones were just there for intimidation, rather than hinting about his exact future, because if they left him alone in this place, still hyperactive from that coffee for more than an hour, he was going to go insane much earlier than he died of starvation.

@skylark @leafpelt @bunnyshadowMargot's eyes narrowed in confusion. "The Avengers haven't been around since 2020," she reminded him in a voice that suggested it should have been obvious. The boy seemed uneasy, but probably not as frightened nor as grateful as he should have been--after all, he'd almost lost his life to a pack of demonic alien creatures which Margot and Aizel had been kind enough to battle for him. Still, he seemed good-natured, and Margot couldn't fault him for that. "Nice to meet you," she murmured out of habit. "My name is Margot," she added with a brief nod.A comment from Frost distracted her from her thoughts, and she glanced up with warm brown eyes. As she came to realize what Frost wanted her to do, they narrowed back to a distrusting almost-glare. With a brief apologetic smile in Aaron's direction, she strode over to stand in front of Fang. The two of them were about the same height, but her full-bodied hair and cool authority distinguished her.The boy she judged to be some freak of nature. He was pale, ungodly pale, with brooding red eyes and dark hair that glinted red under the sunlight. This kid was bad news, instinct told her, and she was prepared to be quite cautious. Her right hand still gripped the blue plastic handle of the screwdriver; her left palm was open for an easy electric attack."And what do you have to say for yourself?" she began, leering forward slightly.
jupiter_hollow • 14 June 2012 at 6:43 AM
@skylark@leafpelt@silver_wingedShe wondered what this sudden commotion was about. Life had always been simple, from her point of view, and now all these people had to make it so very complicated. She was mostly confused by the girls' behaviour. In her eyes, they were the most complex beings she'd ever seen. For her, it was a simple life - seek food, shelter, survive and if the peacefull way of doing things doesn't work, she easily switched to raw power and fought her way through the hardships. Now, looking from Marogt and Frost's point of view, she realised that there was a more inconvenient way to live... In constant fear of being caught or killed. She had to admit that the same thing counted for her too, she was wary as well, but she couldn't figure out why they always had to twist everything and always searched for a reason, if only just one, not to trust people. True, they'd warmed up to her (partly) and weren't so wary anymore but she wondered why they had to make such a fuss about a newcomer. Frost had straight forward threatened to chop the guy's head off and had leaned a dagger to his throat. There was nothing strange about the boy (if you counted out the red eyes and hair), he seemed fairly normal. So why couldn't they all just ditch the Loki mumbo-jumbo and try to make some allys.
Deleted • 14 June 2012 at 6:43 AM
On that though, she quickly got up and stepped forward, brushing off Margot and Frost's wary behaviour and extended an arm. "Hi, I'm Aizel." she chirped, smiling widely. It was probable that the boy was also a peaceffull citizen, instead of an assasin or something like that. She waited patiently, both for the boy's answer and Mrgot's scolding that she was sure was about to come.
bunnyshadow • 14 June 2012 at 4:43 PM
@Jupiter_hollow@silver_winged@asi@skylark~~~"Nothing.", Fang replied to Margot. He stepped closer to Margot, then to the right. His gaze droped from Margot's face to the screwdriver and her gloves. Just as he was about to walk around Margot, an overly cheerfully girl chirped out her name. "Hello Aizel.", he said rather blandly.-"May I be excused?", She asked no one as she stood up from the table where more than half her breakfast still sat. Withought waiting for an answer that would probably have been a no, she turned and quickly walked out of the room.
skylark • 14 June 2012 at 5:36 PM
@bunnyshadow Sorry! :S I don't know how Loki would react to that. Next bit- complete guess.@silver_winged~~~~When Sylvia explained herself, Loki listened. His forehead burrowed in as Sylvia described her attackers. After whispering to a chitauri, the alien took off as if it was on fire. Loki patted his daughter's hand as she rose, and a smile tugged at his lips. His eyes glistened a bit and he rose to leave as well. (Memory xD)Andrew half-rose as well, trying to stuff the rest of the really yummy food into his mouth. After wiping his mouth, he ran after Sylvia to catch up. As he walked alongside her, he started to whistle a really old folk tune.~~~~Aaron swallowed, his Adam's Apple bobbing. He watched the current activity and continued to ponder what happened when he was in the black. Dried blood was on his hands and the chitauris' blood was all over everyone. Water, showers, soap popped into his mind as he smelt himself and nearly gagged. Looking around, there were none of those things in this broken city.
bunnyshadow • 14 June 2012 at 5:45 PM
@skylark~~~Sylvia heard Andrew run up besides her and listened to his whistling. It was a completely new melody to her. "Is that a human tune?", she asked, referring to the whistling. It was still petty early outside so she decided to go and check on the prison. Before leaving, she stopped by her room to get something.
skylark • 14 June 2012 at 5:56 PM
@bunnyshadow Andrew nodded, "A really old one," and kept whistling. He followed Sylvia since he really had nothing to do. He secretly liked her company, but would never tell her that. Yawning, he stretched and looked outside. It was hot, and the smell of asphalt burning filled his nose.
silver_winged • 14 June 2012 at 5:58 PM
@jupiter_hollow @skylark @bunnyshadowMargot stepped to the side as Fang attempted to move out of her way, so that she continued to stand right in front of him. She shifted the screwdriver in her hand just slightly, and her index finger brushed against the metal shaft. A loud crack filled the air as the static transfer occurred with a visible spark of light. Margot leaped slightly, startled by the noise, and withdrew her finger. She continued to stare directly at Fang as she noticed him examining her weapons, hoping to silently convince him that a fight was not worth it. Aizel, however, seemed not to understand the art of psychological battle. She was all smiles, until something needed to be punched or kicked. Margot's eyes flickered to the side, shooting Aizel a brief unamused look. Then, she turned back to Fang."Let me rephrase that," she said after a moment. "Are you working for Loki?" It was the most direct question she could think of. Either he answered negatively and their conversation continued, he answered positively and he was dosed with a little electricity, or he attempted to flee--and Aizel still had that shotgun with her. It seemed an odd coincidence that this boy and Aaron would show up at the same time if there was nothing between them, but it wasn't entirely impossible.
bunnyshadow • 14 June 2012 at 6:02 PM
@skylark~~~When she was finished, she walked back outside. "Let's go.", she said cheerfully. (She's so Moody xD) As she walked down the paths that led to the prisons, she listened intently to Andrew's tune. A few crows and ravens fluttered about and picked at worms and the garbage for food.
meixiaotian • 14 June 2012 at 6:03 PM
Everything seemed to have calmed down, and nobody was looking her way. She dashed away from the place and ran to the edge of the city. It was still morning. Pyra glanced back, then continued on. She would find them later... When she felt like it. She had othr things to do. Suddenly, she saw a couple chitauri patrolling the street ahead. She gave a short gasp and her heart started beating quickly. She turned left immediately, farther into the city.
bunnyshadow • 14 June 2012 at 6:53 PM
@silver_winged~~~Fang was slightly irritated at Margot getting in his way.He watched as she shifted the tool, a screwdriver in her hands. He was about to pushed past her when a large crackle filled the air. Glancing down a where he came from, he was just in time to see a spark of light near the screwdriver and her gloves. Electrical gloves."Possibly.", he replied coolly to Margot. Now, he expected an attack and was ready to flee or retaliate.
silver_winged • 14 June 2012 at 7:15 PM
@bunnyshadowThe easygoing air Margot had about her faded slightly with Fang's comment. An honest frown tugged at the corner of her mouth, and she blinked slowly as she thought. The boy wasn't being cooperative in the slightest; his comment had to have been designed to trigger an attack from her. At least, that was what instinct told her. For the moment she held her ground."Care to elaborate?" she pressed with thinly veiled tension. Until he convinced her otherwise, he was a threat, and would be dealt with accordingly.
bunnyshadow • 14 June 2012 at 7:23 PM
@silver_winged~~~Fang walked backward into the wall as Margot frownd and thought. He looked at Margot and his eyes shone with an empty amusement as he watched her face. After a moment, Margot spoke, asking him to elaborate.Fang stopped and slowly clenched the fingers of his left hand into a fist. A mocking smile touched his lips when he looked up at her. "No.", he said."No.", he repeated.
asi • 15 June 2012 at 2:03 AM
Ray, too, was thinking of a song; only he was humming, not whistling, because he couldn't whistle for shiz. It was one of those ridiculously happy, upbeat songs, the kind that his mother had loved, and utterly out of place in the mangy prison cell, but it was so infectious he couldn't help but smile, finding himself in a good mood despite everything. After a few minutes he was feeling a lot like; Yay! I love mangy prision cells! Don't you love mangy prision cells? Mangy prision cells are the best!, etc. In other words, the coffee was still working.
bunnyshadow • 15 June 2012 at 11:13 AM
@asi LOL.@skylark~~~Sylvia poked the door of the prison with a disgusted expression. She kicked it open and walked inside to see many of the cells. Scanning the people through the bars, she stopped when she saw Ray. He seemed seriously happy for someone stuck in a prison.
