Aspitis glanced up with narrowed eyes. He sidestepped a stray can of garbage and kept his pace, bouncing on his heels.

Laura rolled her eyes, wondering why he didnt scan his surroundings more carefully. She leaped to the next buildings rooftop, and nicked her calf on the landing. She clenched her fists, it hurt badly. She lifted up her jeans leg to see it wasnt bleeding, but it would leave a bruise.

Aspitis shut his mouth, keeping coldly silent as he made his way through the various twists and turns of the alleys. His personality seemed completely changed from what it had been not minutes before - from the outside.

Laura pulled the jeans leg down, and winced as she padded to the other side of the building, watching Aspitis like a hawk. She was glad she didnt give out her real name now, he didnt seem to like her. Names can control people, if they knew how. It had happened to her before, and she was determined not to do it again.

Aspitis was unaware of the presence watching him, busy lurking though his own mind. Old memories resurfaced, and his fragile attempts to push them back did nothing to stop them. Several emotions passed through his eyes.
He paused, then turned again.

Aspitis frowned as he inspected his path. He was headed toward his old home, but he wasn't sure whether he was going the right way. It had been so long since he had been there. A moment's inspection recovered his memory and he bounded toward a small disguised house near the woods of the town.

Laura saw Aspitis sprint towards the woods. She slapped herself, figurativly, not litterally. She couldnt follow him in there, it would be to easy to detect her.

Laura leaped down from the building, her eyes widening at the pain of landing incorrectly, on her hurt leg. She clenched her jaw, and ran in the same direction as Aspitis. She hid near some bushes, seeing a house. Quessing he was in there, she watched closely.

Aspitis looked around suspiciously, lightening his steps so that he wouldn't be so noisy over the creaking floor.
A few seconds later a shape barreled into him, knocking him into the wall. He yelped, slipping down and trying to push the attacker away.

"Brother!" May yelled happy, sitting up and staring at him. "Brother! You're back!" The brother blinked in partial shock and horror.

"Some days," May drawled, looking down at the floor. "Mommy and daddy left."
"You here?" Aspitis got up, picking up his kid sister and walking toward the door. "I missed you. I'm sorry." They lapsed into a sad silent.

Aspitis slipped out the door again, holding tightly onto his small sister, who buried her face in his hair tiredly. He patted her gently, walking back again with no hurry.

Past: While bearing him, his mother gets a sting from a lionfish and her son developes special cells located onto his neck and arms that poisons everything within a mere touch. Before giving birth, his mother dies, poisoned from her unborn baby and once he is delivered, his father abandons him. The venomous child, labeled a freak, is forced to live a life of isolation. Everyone is afraid of him... Now, when the Dangerous rule, he is a bit more comfortable with roaming the streets, yet is still shy to show his embarassing pattern.
Apperance: Average height, but slightly taller than most people his age, Sam can be viewed as a rather handsome young man, without the striped lining his neck, arms and chest. His skin is pale, hence the years he's spent indoors. Hair is a dark brown color, streaked with lionfish-striped strands and cut to reach his ears and shade bright blue eyes from view. He never parts with his long-sleeved hoodie and wears leather gloves that cover his fingers - safety precaution so he doesn't poison anyone.
Personalty: Unable to socialize due to the life of isolation he lived, Sam has grown to be closed up, but not painfully shy. When spoken to, he's capable of sparking a conversation and is kind by heart, though a bit dangerous when angry (which is seldom).

Aspitis held May protectively, stroking her hair as he wended his way through the shadowed alleys. His little sister brought a whisper of hope back to him, pushing back the despair and rage that was once there. The two conversed in hushed tones, one voice deep and smooth and animated, the other high and sweet.

Laura heard everything, following them like a shadow. She still couldnt believe Aspitis had a sister, let alone a an aquatic-like creature. Laura scented fish, and water, and things that pointed that the girl was half otter.

Within a few more turns, and quite a bit of conversation later, the two siblings finally returned to the house in which Aspitis resided. He kneeled down, setting May back on the ground and looking her in the eyes. Right before he spoke, she interrupted.
"Is that yellow in your eye?"
Aspitis smirked, opening the door and petting the girl on the back. "Go."
