Veronica also shook her head.She was getting ticked off at this bird, but didn't want to make a scene. So instead, she flicked her off like a bug, and continued waiting for Danny.Veronica fell off of Violet's head and quickly flapped her wings, a feather falling onto the floor.She glared at the human, and instead sat on Alicia's shoulder.

@hedwig68 @clayosaurusrex @chapus2009 @lyric @hay7199 Where you at girl?-Grinning at Violet's sarcastic but fairly friendly comment (he had to put some effort into actually hiding his surprise at her light tone), Dannick hollered at the girl."Oi! C'mon now. I didn't force ya" he whined, acting offended, but the evident ring of laughter in his voice gave away the joke. A smile soon stretched his lips, the vibrant happiness transferring to his eyes as well.And right now, they all seemed awfully happy. It felt strange to laugh like this, so genuinely. And Dannick laughed because...because he wanted to laugh, felt like laughing. And it felt nice not having to impress anyone or feel inferior to everybody for once. This very moment represented the utopia he'd craved for all these years, just to receive it at the most unexpected place and mere minutes after he'd accidentally found himself here..."Strange..." he muttered, rather happily, catching himself staring at the four people in front of himself in what was best described as awe.He shook his thoughts away, just in time to support Alex's banters towards Arx."Aye! And we'll make sure we sit on you, all four of us, you little troublesome rascal!" he chuckled playfully, threatening the animal jokatively.As Veronica shed an inky feather to the ground, Dannick bent down to pick it up, marvelling at the lenght and thickness. It seemed as long as a swan feather and was similar to its texture. Without a second look, he stuck it in his hair, the result being a resemblance to Peter Pan, only Dannick had a feather sticking from his hair, not his hat.

Her head twitched to the side, whilst she blinked blankly. Her black feathers were very messy from all the moving.Violet walked over and took the raven onto her arm, straightening out all of her feathers."Her feathers always get so messy. You should take better care of them they might fall out." She told Veronica with a baby voice, gaining a glare from the bird.

The raven seemed hilariously unamused so he decided to add to her annoyance. Trudging over, he tilted his feather-decorated head to the side and shook a finger at Veronica, holding in laughter as he 'scolded'."Now now, we don't want those pretty feathers falling off, do we, hun?" his voice was high pitched and had a sing-song ring to it, making his words as annoying as possible.Giggling childishly, he turned to inspect the rest of the bantering teens and noticed Alicia standing by the doorway.He waved at her sheepishly, scratching the back of his head. He hated to make her wait. Gathering Dezirae from his position on the floor, Danny hurried over to the girl and smiled toothily."Sorry Ally!" he hurried to apologize.

She said, replying to the fact that he gave her a nickname, which she though was funny."Now this is the library. This place is open from 8 am to 8 pm and you can rent books here, but only for a week, then you need to return them. If you don't return them, since we have no money, you will not be allowed to borrow books for a while, depending on late you returned the book. Oh, and you can't rent more than 3 books at once." SHE SAID.URRR, SORRY IF THIS IS ON CAPS, MY KEYBOARD IN NOW APPENRENTLY STUCK ON CAPS...

@chapus2009 @hedwig68 @lyric @clayosaurusrex-"Alright Ally." Dannick beamed childishly at the sound of his nickname on Alicia's lips and his lips stretched in a wide smile. He followed her silently, eyeing the large hall they entered. However umerous the shelves here were, the books were still overflowing and most had to be stacked in lines next to the walls, placed on one another for better balance. It resembled something of a book mountain and Dannick felt the urge to point that out like the ever amused child he was."Ooh, do they have sci-fi?" he wondered aloud, curling his lips in a 'o' shape and flashing a thousand watt smile at the librarian. "G'morning!" he hollered at her, forgetting the universal rule for silence.

@jupiter_hollow Oh Dannick. xD The librarian swiftly turned towards him and hushed him quietly, placing her finger on her lips. She seemed old, she was maybe somewhere in her 50s or such. She then turned her attention back to the papers on her desk.Alicia giggled and tried not to laugh. "They do." She whispered to Dannick, pointing to an aisle that had a sign hanging above that said "Sci-fi books".Arthur then turned into a river otter and landed next to Alicia on the ground.

@chapus2009 This should so be a thing xD When Dannick does something stupid/funny/adorable the crowd's gonna be like 'Oh Dannick.'-Quickly after extending his hand up to wave, Dannick lowered it back down a fraction and sheepishly grimaced at his loud tone. There was a nagging want to apologize now, but the librarian was too far away to hear properly. Before he could withhold himself, he said, a little too loudly again. "Sorry!" and grimaced again. Sheepishly, he smiled and mouthed to Alicia. 'sorry'Following the girl religiously, he jumped up and fist pumped once he noticed the sign on the aisle. "Yes!" he whisper-screamed and hurried over to look around. After a minute he had gathered at least a seven books and seemed to continue pulling more and more books out of the shelves."Ooh! This is a new one!" he exclaimed quietly every once in a while, hugging the new book to his chest.

@jupiter_hollow @chapus2009 @lyricAlex had fallen silent, suddenly deep in thought as she quietly followed the other teens. She walked into the library and glanced around at the different books, fingering through some of then titles, looking from book to book. She mentally facepalmed, "I knew I'd forgotten something. I need to turn in that book by tonight or I'm without a book." She muttered allowed as she walked back over to join the other two. She still had a lazy Bear perched in her arms, sleeping. She rolled her eyes at the lazy animal, she swore that the Soul Animal slept more than she did, and that was a hard feat. Alex slept for very long periods of time and got extremely grouchy and annoyed if she was woken up to early.

They're all of different authors and different stories and the plots and universes are completely separate." he whined lightly.A few he placed on their respective shelves but the remaining eight books were still clutched to his chest."Maybe I should make it a world destruction week this week and get these three with the same plot... And next week will be zombie week." he suggested to himself, placing five other books back where they belonged. Happily hugging his chosen books he spun on his heel to walk back over to the librarian's desk and nearly crashed into Alex."Hey!" he chirped at her, but then recoiled in alarm, fearing he'd wake up Bear that slept peacefully on her shoulder. "Sorry." he hastily apologized. "I'm a bit clumsy today... Sorry."

@jupiter_hollow @chapus2009 @lyricAlex had been caught up in her own world and fell back when Dannick almost crashed in her, mostly from surprise. She hadn't noticed him walked towards her until he nearly ran into her and that made her freak out and jump back, falling on her butt. She shook her head and then looked at Dannick, chuckling as she got to her feet. "It's cool, I'm pretty clumsy myself so no need to worry." She assured him, glancing at Bear who was still somehow asleep.She could sleep though anything, the place could get bombed and she'd sleep right through it. "Besides, she needs to wake up soon anyways, Bear is one of the laziest creatures on the face of the planet, she sleep like 20 hours a day." She told him as she brushed off invisible dust from her jacket.

@jupiter_hollow @hedwig68 Alicia nodded at Dannick's book plan, "That sounds good." She said. She couldn't help but laugh when Alex fell on her butt. She bit her lower lip, trying to stop, but calmed down a bit when she heard the librarian shush her.

@hedwig68 @chapus2009 @lyric-Danny's eyes widened and he surged forward in attempt to help Alex, arms outstretched, only to trip over one of her feet and stumble as well. He ended up with an arm propped against one shelf. Upon hearing Alex's declaration, he laughed full-heartedly and sunk to the ground in laughter."We're practically two of a kind! I mean, how many people have you met that can't walk across a flat, stable surface without finding something to trip over!?"

She chuckled as she gently pet Bear and looked at him, "I guess you are right, though I do know someone that can do just that, my twin brother Sirius, he's quite clumsy himself." She said with a grin but then she glanced at the ceiling and sighed at the mention of one of her siblings. She hoped they were all doing okay, Christa would be in college as she was to old for an orphanage and Joseph would have either just left the orphanage or be preparing to. That left four siblings still in orphanages though. Alex then looked at Alicia and grinned crookedly, "Tell me something I don't know!" She said, purposely yelling just to make the librarian mad.

Oblivious as he was, he noticed, but didn't think anything of the sigh Alex had let out."That's great then! I really want to meet him now." he declared with a broad smile, placing the books onto the librarian's desk with an accidentally loud thud. "Is he sleeping upstairs too? I'm a bit surprised you're not in the same room, since you're twins and all, y'know. But I bet he's great!" Danny rambled on, the fact that Sirius was not here completely unknown to him.

@jupiter_hollow Yeah, that'd be cool. XD There's alot of them though, six siblings in total. I don't think you've met Blake or Jake yet though, have you? XD @chapus2009Alex sighed and ran a hand through her hair like she often did when upset or confused. She was biting her bottom lip and she finally looked at Dannick sadly, "You're not gonna be able to meet him, sadly." She murmured softly, "That's why we don't share a room, he doesn't live here."Her face went emotionless as she spoke, a way to keep from showing the pain she felt as she missed her twin dearly, along with the others. "When my parents passed my family was split up. My aunt and uncle shipped us all off to different orphanages all around the country, I don't know why but they did. I have six siblings, two older, my twin, and three younger." She admitted, revealing her history, something she had never done before.

I'm only on the 6th season so don't hate me =u=____Violet laughed at what Dannick said, the tone was just priceless. The raven glared at her.The young teen had stayed outside of the library, considering that she was having an argument with Veronica. That bird just never stopped throwing fits.After a few minutes of disagreeing, they walked into the library."Whats up!" she loudly whispered, grinning whenever the librarian shushed her.Veronica flew off on top of the sci-fi bookshelf, knowing that was the first place Violet was going to.

The small bubble of joy he had created for himself was expanding and he was happy about that. He was oblivious to everything, along with the pain and loss he knew these people had inevitably suffered. He hadn't thought about it up until now because... they had just seemed so happy. So utterly nonchalant about the fact that they were in an orphanage. So da*n tranquile and cheerful that it seemed like a little utopia to him, not a place where society abandoned the children nobody wanted to look after.One minute he was smiling...And in the next he wasn't. Because she was hurting. She held herself together firmly, gripping her self-control with a clear and conscious mind, and it was obvious to him that she was trying, visibly trying to hold it all in. With a blank expression and a cold voice, she steadily talked, telling the tale of her pain and trying, so hard, not to show that she was affected. She was struggling to stay above the surface. To not sink in sadness. She refused to let go and it was the most heart-breaking thing Dannick had ever seen, because her eyes held every single emotion she was trying to conceal behind her cold front. Their lucid shine was distorted, like the gleam of a broken mirror but nevertheless each emerald green shard reflected pain. "I-I'm... I'm so sorry." It was his fault, truly, for being as single minded as he had been. He wished to fix everything with that apology but he couldn't fool himself into believing that he could do anything by talking. Telling her not to hide the pain and to let go, was something he knew she wouldn't take kindly to either.So instead of uttering a single word more, he stepped closer, looking right into her greenleaf eyes, and wrapped his arms around her tightly without a second thought.

She remembered when she had first received the news about her parents. She's been staying at her friend's house, Chase was his name. His family was close to her's so her and all her siblings had stayed their while their parents were away on business.That day Chase's mom walked in, she was crying, and gently broke the news to Alex and her siblings. Their plane had crashed on their way home, a faulty engine, she said. The room stayed completely for the first minute and then they slowly all began to cry, except Jimmy, who was only about 6 months old. Alex was only 10 at the time. Then their aunt and uncle came down to claim what was there's. They were happy to claim Alex's family's big house and all their money, but not so excited about the 7 kids and 2 years later they shipped them off all over the country, that was the last time Alex saw her family.When Dannick managed to mumble out an apology and Alex just sort of nodded, "It's fine." She murmured, keeping her voice neutral. Then the new boy did something that greatly surprised Alex, he hugged her. Bear awoke immediately and leaped out of her arms, leaving Alex, who was being hugged at the moment. She was so surprised by the boy's suddenness that she didn't even react, she just sort of stood there, being hugged by Danny.Suddenly, she shook away her initial surprise and managed to escape the boy's grasp. She sighed, she didn't like to receive sympathy from people, it made her feel like everyone thought she was weak. She didn't want people to feel bad for her or treat her any differently because of what happened, besides, most of the kids in the orphanage have had to deal with the same things she had. It felt good to know that at least she wasn't alone.(And that was Alex's back story,though I might as well get the whole thing out of the way early on in the RP. 😊)

@hedwig68 @jupiter_hollow D'awwww, group hug! 😃~~~~~Alicia watched the two and slightly smiled, feeling bad for Alex because of the fact that she had lost her parents. Pretty much all the children in the orphanage had the same story, either their parents died or they left them in the orphanage very young, hoping for their children to have a better future or simply because the parents did not want them. She was very young when she entered this orphanage, and she was somewhat grateful for it, since she never knew the luxurious life with a family, for she was too young to remember anything. Of course she would have prefer if a fire didn't burn down her house and kill her parents, allowing her to live with them and not be here, but she preferred this rather than being at an age where you could be able to miss the life you had before being at an orphanage, which was the example of Alex. Arthur, feeling Alicia's pain for Alex, decided to turn into a Barn Owl and slowly land on Alex's shoulder and gently rubbed his feathery head against the teen's cheek.

@chapus2009 @hedwig68 This is really emotonal tho. idk how I'm gonna last this RP, consdering we got a lot of crap planned for our sweethearts ;-; @lyric @clayosaurusrex-Releasing Alex when she recoiled from him, Dannick sighed but with a smile nonetheless. Like he had guessed, she didn't take lightly to receiving any form of sympathy. Like Violet, she had build up her battle walls a bit too high as well. Then again, they were all works in progress, he reminded himself and grinned widely."What kind'a books do you like?" he suddenly changed the topic, grabbing his books from the librarian's desk with a sharp sweep, hugging them tightly and starting off towards the awaiting group with a wide stomp of his foot.

@jupiter_hollow I must agree that this is very emotional. @chapus2009Alex smiled at the Barn Owl and she pet Andrew on the head before looked at Bear who had turned back into a black lab and was sitting down next to her, running her head against the girl's leg in a comforting way. She then turned her attention back to Dannick and smiled slightly, "I mainly am into fantasies and stuff like that, mostly anything that isn't real or something like that. Non-fictions bore me and realistic fictions aren't my favorite either because they can get boring too. I like books where things that could NEVER happen in real life happen and such." She explained to the boy.
